Devil Mountain is the second book in The Dana Mulder Suspense Series and is a great suspense thriller. I am really enjoying this series. The characters are well depicted, interesting, and realistic. The story is fast-paced and intriguing, with death, disappearances, deceit, and danger from the past. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is a fast reading book that will make you shiver and shake as Dana helps to look for a Mom and her 2 daughters. The Mom is ultimately found dead--but the two girls are no where to be found. The search is on!! Meanwhile Dana stumbles upon another murder victim. She is almost certain that pig-head who let her live but with scars from a previous book is involved somehow. He gets really involved - why--you won't believe it!!

Kept my interest

This book was more graphic than the previous, and I really enjoyed it. I was suspicious of the mother who owned the ice cream shop and new there was something interesting about the bum going to the police station daily. I did not see the twist about Nigel. The end was sad and very good.

I felt like this book wasn’t as fast paced as the 1st book until the last quarter of the book. Love how the author keeps you guessing. You think you have it figured out but you never have it quite right!
