Nothing about Derrick and I make sense. The man has three strikes.

A very short, but very satisfying romance between Derrick and Carly. I thought the paranormal bits were great and brought this romance beyond the typical older man/younger woman forbidden romance genre.
Carly's abilities made her special, and the groundwork and history of this paranormal world was written concisely with enough mystery and intrigue that kept my interest high.
Short and steamy with a feel good HEA with enough hints of more to come.

This is a well written older man/younger woman romance between Carly and Derrick. They have a strong connection but she's fighting it thinking he's too old .. he is her best friends father. The author does a great job describing her scenes and moves the story quickly and smoothly. I loved the story and characters and would recommend reading.

A well written short story that kept me turning pages, a younger woman/older man story. Derrick Joseph and Carly Simeon's story, they are going to babysit Joseph his grandson, and her godchild together. While Belle and Blade, his daughter and son-in-law, and Carly's best friend and husband go away for ten days.I enjoyed seeing this story come together. This is the 2nd book I've read written by Selene Drake; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Love heals all wounds
Great follow up story with Carly and Derrick. I love watching how their love blossomed and they were able to accept each other, in spite of their fears. Love it!!!!

I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and it kept my attention. It was such a sweet romance between the main characters. I highly recommend this book.
