Aetheric Academy #2

Magi Apprentice

Rate this book
Normal school was never like this.
Crazy Magical powers and a murderous ghost witch, out for blood?
I think I’m starting to enjoy myself!

Katy’s first few weeks at the Magical Aetheric Academy were even more eventful than she had dared imagine.
Despite the drama, however, Katy has found she’s settling in and actually starting to enjoy it.

A situation that’s helped by the presence of Titus. She still can’t quite believe he’s actually interested in her.
But now Trenton is hanging around her more?
Things are going to get complicated, especially if Mikayla has her way.

As part of her education as an Apprentice Magus, the Academy organizes a trip back to the Material World, and it’s not long before things start to go wrong.
It looks like the interest of a couple of guys could be the least of her worries, as Katy begins to suspect that the Red Witch might be back and up to her nefarious schemes once more.

Magi Apprentice: A Magical Academy Contemporary Fantasy (Aetheric Academy Book 2), my twenty-second read from author Andrew Dobell. Continuing a new storyline, a new main character (Katy) with new friends (Yuki & Felix), as well as new frenemies. A Harry Potterish type setting. Slow starting but excitement mounts the last half of the book as well as a guest appearance by everyone's favorite redhead. Another must-read book for fans of Andrew Dobell, I look forward to the next book in the series. I was given a Kindle copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Good Reading

A good raise in interest as we find even more out about the Red Witch and those who serve her whilst still keeping the young interest.
Some good little changes in the relationship dynamics as well.

Marvelous simply Marvelous

I like to read about young heros that do not over state their abilities. Although I have read thousands of books in this genre it is always nice to find a new book to feel good about reading. Worth the time!

A growing menace

We see the students learning more about not only magic, but about the Red Witch and some of her plans. Another interesting story in this series.

I enjoyed the magi.

This is definitely for a YA audience.

I enjoyed it very much. I wish there was more magic. Amanda appears briefly in the book. This book is consistent with the other stories.
