I really appreciate that this book uses the grammar of ASL and isn't just a picture dictionary. I like the model they used, though it was difficult to follow many of the signs because the photos are so small. It might have been helpful to have the photos and the description on the same page to avoid flipping back and forth, but we used YouTube to supplement, so it was fine in the end. I wish there were more books like this one! I had no idea until recently that ASL wasn't signing in the same order we speak. Wild!
