The king had been searching for a woman to break the curse he was under, and this young woman with the sad eyes and her penchant for the flora of his forest seemed precisely what he needed. She was definitely what he wanted. With her agreement and a little seduction, she might assist him in escaping midnight.

First time I've ever seen Cinderella kill somebody with her glass slipper. Fucking right.

Great Cinderella story
Amelia is half Elf/human, both her parents gone. She lives as a maid for her human step mother and two step sisters. Crossing the barrier in the the Elf King's lands for the ingredients she needs to keep her step mother looking young and happy.
Ledock has been trying to catch the half Fae who has been entering his lands for years. Now he has her, he doesn't want to let her go.
A pair of magic boots. A three day long ball. Ledock has a chance to lift the curse he is under. Claim the women who has stolen his heart. Maybe save his people from extinction.
A fast paced and steamy romances. A little SIFI twist. A nice epilogue.

I am enjoying the stand alone tales by this author. I can't wait to see what the next one will be like.

Surprisingly good
Enjoyed reading it, would recommend 😊 not a fan of fairy tales adapted to a different romance but VG did a great job.
