Wolf Mate by Jessica Aspen is a fantastic story that I have read. This is book number five in this fantastic series that I have been hooked on since the beginning and I loved it. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about wolf shifters, fantasy and paranormal romance.

What a story. A murder and romance to keep you intrigued in this amazing book. Who could imagine that this one would be better than the last one. Loved them all.
Natalie is worried for her best friend Yvette. They were supposed to go on a quick trip together but Natalie had to cancel due to work so Yvette went by herself. The last thing Natalie heard from Yvette was a text a month ago stating that she had met a mystery man and they were going treasure hunting the next day. Yvette even sent the GPS coordinates. Natalie decides to investigate herself after she visits the local sheriff and is blown off. On her hike to the last position, Natalie finds that it is off the hiking path and on private posted land. The owner's want to keep people off their property. Natalie ignores it, desperate to find her friend. When she arrives at the the position near the edge of a cliff, she finds disturbed ground that is possibly blood covered. Looking over the cliff she sees her friend's phone. Natalie falls when she climbs down to get the phone and hurts her ankle.
Luca is a wolf shifter and part time enforcer for his pack. Their pack owns a ranch and interactions with humans is forbidden. Luca enjoys patrolling the perimeter of their land away from pack politics. He spots tracks coming onto their land and signs of a dead body. He also finds Natalie hurt and stuck at the bottom of the cliff. Luca rescues Natalie and instead of chasing her off, he feels concerned and protective of her. When she refuses to accept a trip to a clinic, he takes her to his cabin. He knows it is against all the rules but he feels he must care for Natalie. Somehow he must help her find out about her friend without letting pack secrets out.
This is a good book but Luca seemed pretty clueless. He had no idea that Natalie was his mate until someone explains it to him. I did like Natalie as a heroine because she would do anything to find her friend even if it was risky.

The only family Natalie has is her foster sister Yvette, but the young woman's been missing for a month and there are no answers in sight. Natalie decides to take matters into her own hands and tracks down Yvette's last known location: a ravine within private property up in the Fated Mountains. It doesn't take her long to realize that Yvette's more than missing; she's been murdered. From there, the situation just gets crazier and crazier. The only bright spot is volunteer pack enforcer Luca. If they get too close to the truth, will their lives be at stake too?
After a few books spent with the shifters at the Ram's Haven pack, the series returned to its Fated Mountains origins. Most of the secondary characters were familiar faces, but they never overshadowed the H/h. Luca was such an easygoing guy and it was obvious that he was happiest when he was doing his own thing. But once it became clear that he wanted Natalie in his life, he never gave a second thought to the loss of his lone wolf status. Natalie had feistiness for days. I can't decide whether her drive, her loyalty, or her self-confidence was her best trade because she demonstrated all of them in spades.
Although this appears to be the last book in the series, there are plenty of threads left hanging if the author decides to return to this universe. I would be curious to see how the broader plot continues to develop if more stories are released.

Natalie and Yvette had met in a foster home and Yvette befriended her. But her friend has been missing for a month and no one has any idea of where he went. So Natalie decides to try to find her on her own and begins to track her down at the last known GPS location. She arrives at a ravine on private property located in the Fated Mountains. Her dangerous search has taken her to a blood soaked piece of land as she explores the ravine.
Luca is a wolf shifter who has always been on his own. He found Natalie injured in the ravine on Fated Mountain ranch. She was human but he was impressed at how determined she was to keep investigating. The problem was, her insisting to continue hunting down the truth could cause problems for the pack.
Natalie is surrounded by many secrets and ends up being kidnapped. Will Luca decide to help her? When she finds the answers to some of those secrets, will she be willing to accept the lifestyle that opens up to her?
This was a good story, exciting and mysterious as Natalie is determined to find out what happened to Yvette. Will she get her answers?
Completely and utterly taken captive by this story! It was EVERYTHING!!! WAY TOO MUCH ALPHA! The chemistry here is AMAZING- this isn’t just heat. Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. SO MUCH ALPHA ...oh did I say that already well Natalie is trying to find her best friend who is like a sister to her and she use the GPS to find her last know location not realizing she is walking right into the lions den so to speak and ends up getting herself into trouble by turning over rocks that should just remain but yet and still it is her best friend. Luca comes to her aid reluctantly might I add he is a lone wolf and keeps to himself but because he knows she is the other half of him he can't just let it go especially after she is taken and with the pack and this lone wolf must work together to find out who/what is after them. The suspense will keep you turning the page just to see what happens next or to see if it is enough to save his girl and can they put all difference aside to find their own HEA?

Wolf Mate was such a fun, fast-paced, and captivating read! From the moment I started, I was pulled straight into the world Jessica Aspen created—a world full of tension, chemistry, danger, and that irresistible paranormal charm. I love it when a book gives me characters I can root for, and this one absolutely delivered.
The romance was my favorite part. The chemistry between the leads felt electric without ever feeling forced, and I appreciated how their bond grew through both conflict and trust. The author balanced emotion and action so well that I never found myself losing interest—not even for a second.
I also loved the world-building. Aspen gives you just enough supernatural intrigue to feel fully immersed while still keeping the story centered on the characters and their choices. The blend of pack politics, personal stakes, and sizzling romance made the whole thing incredibly addictive.

I did not want to put this book down once I started reading it! Jessica writes a griping and compelling story. It begins with Natalie on the hunt to find her best friend. She heads to her last known location but all she finds is more answers. We follow Natalie on her journey to find answers but she gets more than she bargained for. Who knew a cowboy with secrets could win her heart. Although, she certainly didn't make it easy for him. This book has all the adventure and mystery that a paranormal romance novel could ask for. I honestly enjoyed it and it's been a while since a book kept me that intrigued that I staid up late to finish it. If you like paranormal romance with hot cowboy wolves as well as mystery and plenty of plot twists then you should definitely give this book a try! I will definitely be on the look out for more books by Jessica Aspen.

This paranormal shifter romance takes a refreshing turn away from the usual werewolf tropes. The worldbuilding is different enough to feel unique, but still familiar enough to slip into comfortably—just make sure you don’t mix it up with details from other werewolf books you’ve read, or some things might momentarily feel “off.” Once you’re grounded in this world, everything clicks.
The story starts with the main character heading out on a hike into a restricted territory to search for her missing best friend, and from there the plot unfolds in a way that’s both engaging and easy to follow. The pacing is smooth, the emotional beats land well, and overall it’s simply a lovely read.
If you’re looking for a shifter romance with a slightly different flavor and an enjoyable storyline, this one is definitely worth picking up.

I love paranormal books and a strong alpha, this one combines some magic, wolf shifters, suspense, action and mystery with an underlying continuing plot. In a pleasant twist of the usual male alpha in charge this book gives the power to the female alpha's in the form of a council. They hold the power and the magic over the pack. Natalie is searching for her best friend who has disappeared and unfortunately finds herself in a position to be rescued more than once by the hunky Luca. Things heat up from the first rescue where they experience mutual attraction and chemistry.
I found the book to be engaging and very entertaining with some humorous and fun moments and it held my attention the end. Excellent writing and a must read.

Wow, this was an entertaining and captivating read. I love PRN reads but this one had a different spin to it. Usually, the leader or alpha of the pack is a man, but here the women are the strong leaders. So cool. This is Luca and Natalie’s story. He’s an enforcer, a lone wolf type who likes to be by himself out riding the fence lines and she is a strong, feisty, mouthy young woman looking for her missing friend and won’t take no for an answer. It is fast paced, action packed with unanswered questions, finding a killer, danger, suspense, secrets revealed, fated mates, kidnapping, steam and a fight to claim true love. Thoroughly enjoyed this book.

This book was a serious emotional roller coaster for me. I found myself crying when Natalie was describing her relationship with Yvette. And crying for the loss of that relationship. I absolutely adore Luca he was amazing. I also really liked Natalie I loved that she was a strong woman who wasn't willing to be pushed around. But at the same time she irritated me by sneaking back onto the ranch. Knowing that her friend had been murdered and she's going to sneak onto a ranch with nobody knowing where she's going. And then for her to walk off and get in a vehicle with another man knowing that there's a murderer out there. It's like I understand being strong and independent but use your brains.

I loved this book, it grabbed me on the very first page and I couldn't stop reading it's a fast paced hot and sexy shifter romance story. It's Natalie and Luca's story and they were amazing with a hot and steamy chemistry and a well written story. Natalie decides to investigate her friends disappearance, and Luca is a wolf shifter and part time enforcer for his pack. The book had lots of action, drama, suspense, danger, adventure, mystery, with twists, turns, hot alpha male and a romance I couldn't stop reading.

I hadn’t read the other books in this series but that’s fine because this book can be read as a standalone. Natalie’s foster sister Yvette goes missing so Natalie takes it upon herself to go looking for her, Natalie finds blood on the ground and Yvette’s phone down a ravine so Natalie climbs down but she slips and falls and hurts her ankle. Luca is a werewolf he’s an enforcer for his pack he finds Natalie and believes that she is his mate but Natalie is determined to find out what happened which puts her life in danger. There is so much more going on in this story I loved it it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book.
A brilliant story that will keep you going from first page to last A sassy female lead and a sensitive but strong male Mystery , romance, sorrow, fear , love and every other emotion all contained in a very well written story that will delight any shifter fan. I hope the series will continue as even though this story has come to an end there is still a lot of mystery to solve and more mates to find in this world

So far this is the third I have read in the series. It is definitely my favorite so far. As the leading characters, Luca and Natalie were amazing. There was so much more beneath the surface of each of them. The relationship progressed perfectly. With just enough resistance, romance and growth. We also get deeper involved in the workings of the Pack. Familiar faces from previous books, a lot of magic and the show of loyalty was great. I can't wait to see where we go from here. I loved it!

This story pulled at your heart. You could feel her pain as she grew up in foster homes, and now searching for her friend. You can feel her nervousness about the men she meets and the things that are happening around her. But more than that you see her fight and grit. You see that she does not give up ans doesn't back down. The cowboy fell hard and didn't even realize it until it was almost too late. This story kept me turning the pages and I could not put it down.

If your best friend that is like a sister you, went missing would you go into danger to find out what happened to her? Would you stay and fight for the answer to your questions or leave? This story tells the answer to both of these questions for Natalie and in the process she finds love but can she accept the lifestyle that is laid out in front of her? Will we find out what happen to her best friend and what will become of that? I loved this story. I reviewed this for an honest review.

Book five in the series brings Natalie and Luca's story. This is a great paranormal romance filled with tons of action and mystery. Holy shiznet!!! What a gr8 story. This is the fourth book in this series and it's gr8. One of the things about this story is that it can be read alone. I got so wrapped up in this read that I couldn't put it down until the end. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
Found to be most enjoyable. This shifter world is pretty cool. Three different factions and one to rule. And guess who rules. Women! That is pretty awesome. This is the fourth book in this series and I thought it was pretty cool. The mystery and drama that unfolds for this world is exciting. The romance between Natalie and Luca is fast and sexy. I'm going to find the others and read them.

a good read. the characters were interesting, the romance aspect was fun. no major plot holes or grammar issues. all around an enjoyable read but I feel like I might have gotten a bit more from it if I knew the backstories for all the people that came back as secondary characters in this book.
