Since I'm half demon, I shouldn't be afraid of fire. But it's going to burn me all the same.
Just as I am starting to feel good about who - and what - I am, things go from bad to worse at my school, Nobledark Academy. Demon fire is becoming a regular thing. So are shadowy, menacing figures. Amazing journey
As if Olivia didn't have enough to deal with. Now, she's not only being stalked by her father, but she also has the #1 mean girl of Noble Dark on her tail. With kids disappearing, the Concillium comes in to investigate and almost derails her plans to stop good old dad. With the help of her boyfriends and the Head Mistress, can she close the hellway? Will Caspian relent and show his feelings finally? Or will the Concillium find out?
Marbys invades her dreams almost every night, and after a most disturbing one, she decides to go for a walk. In the garden, she sees a dark red mist and knows she has to do something, but what? Then she hears a voice who helps her and boosts her magic in the process. But is it going to be enough? And why now did her magic change? All these questions and more will be revealed. All you have to do is read on. I'm glad I did. Now I can't stop, so on to #3.

Good
WARNING! Cliffhanger! This is a level 3/5 on the trauma scale… we see the setup to a Big Event and it ends on a “to be continued” scene. No lives hanging in the balance.
Olivia has to deal with the Hellway that is in the school, alongside juggling her men, and avoiding the Concilium members hanging around the school. Then there are the fiery dreams she keeps having…
A lot of progress is made in this book, especially relating to the demonic side of things. Great strides are made in Olivia’s relationships, and some new magic and information comes to light. Since it’s book two in a trilogy, there’s a lot of building up to a finale that occurs in the storyline, but I can’t say too much without spoiling things!
An enjoyable addition to the series, it’s one that RH and Academy romance fans will enjoy.

Olivia was much better in this book!
In the first book Olivia was a bit much to take, she tended to behave like a pain in the butt teenager that needed a smack down. This time around, she was much better, which is great because I really enjoyed the continuation of what happened from the other series. I also like Ms Powell's writing and enjoy her intriguing storyline. Looking forward to the next book in this series and quite interested in finding out what happens next.

Great read
This book was a great addition to the series. I love these characters. The story flows effortlessly. The only thing that would make it better is if there was a little more fighting action.

Great second read
Olivia and her boys, Matty, Jake, Silas and Caspian (finally!) band together to thwart the evilness that is her father in this great, fast paced second book in the Nobledark Academy series.
Recommended. 4 stars.

Great book
The book was everything I expected from a great academy paranormal rh book. It was medium burn and even though I apparently missed the beginning of the series it was still a great read by itself. Really enjoyed it.
