6 books11 followersJ. Thomas Rompel has lived in Tucson, Arizona since 1964 and understands the threats and dangers in having a porous border. He attended the University of Arizona majoring in Speech and Communication in the College of Fine Arts. J. Thomas Rompel has owned and operated a number of different companies since the mid 1970’s. After the events of 9/11 he was involved in a business that dealt with U.S. military and law enforcement both at the local and federal level. This also included Border Patrol agents in the Tucson Sector. As a direct result of regular contact with the above over time he observed a growing trend of the United States federal government failing in their duty to protect the citizens against enemies both foreign and domestic.

Another Excellent Novel
I do not routinely.like novels in a series, but the Citizen Warrior series is a great exception.
Each of the three books in the series is wonderfully written, with relatable characters, and plausible plotting. You soon find the men to be like old friends.
My only gripe is this third novel in the series would have benefitted from a talented editor and/or final reading by the author. This was a problem at approximately 49% of the way through the story.
Despite errors in the story, the story itself is fun, imaginative and bound to keep you reading despite other obligations you may have. Like going to work or getting to bed at a timely hour.
Hard to put down, packed with action, and a cast of characters that are well defined, it is a book I recommend, aling with the two previous offerings.

This is an exciting edition to the Citizen Warrior series.

The young daughter of FBI Agent Rebecca Harper has been kidnapped by a man who fears she knows too much about his illegal activities. The young girl has been taken to Mexico.
The Citizen Warrior team finds out and immediately jumps in to volunteer to find her and bring her home. The team would do this irregardless of the fact that Rebecca and has kept information of their previous missions a secret.
This story is relentless in its intrigue making it difficult to stop reading because of my desire to find out if the team's mission is going to be successful. Once you start reading this book, you will also agree with my opinion.
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Torn from the headlines of yesterday and tomorrow...
A documentary of the American downfall in a fast paced and fascinating novel form....And I cannot stop reading... As a widow of a Delta Force veteran of Vietnam, I applaud the stand America is taking in this series as Citizen Warriors but I also see the bodies mounting as with the old couple murdered at their ranch on the border... and now with yet another liberal in the White House, my fear grows and I can only hope that this generation and the last will heed the words of our forefathers that liberty sometimes has to be paid for in the blood of patriots willing to fight for freedom and to protect us from enemies both foreign AND domestic . Please keep writing and educating....

Don’t start this book if you have things to do.
There are very few series that I obsess over this is one of them. The characters are well thought out and are people you’d be happy to call friend or have your back. The worse part about this series is not being able to put it down and finishing it in a day, then having to wait for the next one. Definitely a must read if you like patriots putting a beat down on crooked politicians, terrorist and cartels. Which to be honest are all the same. Put in Antifa and you’ve got them all. But it sounds like that’s were the next book is going. Love it Good reading.

Outstanding
I enjoyed this and the other books in this series greatly. As former military and concerned citizen and a resident of Texas, this book strikes a nerve. Citizen soldiers are now making a comeback. Unfortunately, due to the recent stolen election, the people are going to have to fend for ourselves. This book is packed with action, bravery and cunning, while pointing to the need for the new citizen to get training or retraining to protect ourselves and our families.

Eye Opening!
This whole Citizen Warrior Series makes you look at what's happening in the United States today with a WTF? You can see what this author writes about is based on things that have happened and are happening now. Rompel makes you think and that is never a bad thing, especially in this political climate. If you are worried about your world, read this series!

One hell of a read!
I absolutely love this book, the author really has a feel for how things seem to be in this world. The characters are totally realistic and likable and the story line is so interesting to read. I’m so looking forward to his next book to see just how much crap our warriors can get into and out of.

Very good
This book brings out the lawlessness in Mexico and our government. As I write this, I am also listening to a news report about Joe Biden and his son Tucker. Living in Arkansas, we know about his affairs down here, and it is pitiful.

Outstanding
The seriousness of our porous southern border and the danger to our citizens, law enforcement and their families can not be ignored. This book is another great addition to this series and I highly recommend it. Fast paced and hard to put down!

Just couldn’t stop reading. This ‘all too real scenario’ grabbed my attention and read as if it actually happened. I hope we as a nation never need such men. But I pray they exist.

Great series!
An excellent finale to a great series. I couldn't put it down. I only took a break when I had to charge my reader. Any new books from this author will be an instant buy for me.

Three books in series' so far
great set of interesting characters in a quiet interesting mix...of civilian and military which does not appear much in others.
The geographic settings are built for this adventure, and lend nicely to the drama and motion of the story.
Great series.... looking forward to more.
