خسیس یکی از کمدی‌های مهجور مانده از کارلو گولدونی است و اسمی هم نام شاهکار مولیر دارد. نمایشی تک پرده‌ای که در سال ۱۷۵۶ نوشته شده و شخصیت اصلی آن دن آمبرجیو شباهت بسیاری به هاراگون شخصیت اصلی نمایشنامه مولیر دارد.

About the author

Carlo Osvaldo Goldoni was an Italian playwright and librettist from the Republic of Venice. His works include some of Italy's most famous and best-loved plays. Audiences have admired the plays of Goldoni for their ingenious mix of wit and honesty. His plays offered his contemporaries images of themselves, often dramatizing the lives, values, and conflicts of the emerging middle classes. Though he wrote in French and Italian, his plays make rich use of the Venetian language, regional vernacular, and colloquialisms. Goldoni also wrote under the pen name and title "Polisseno Fegeio, Pastor Arcade," which he claimed in his memoirs the "Arcadians of Rome" bestowed on him.

تنها چیزی که خوب داشت ،اسم نویسنده بود اسم خوبی داره کارلو گولدونی

مترجم هم دمش گرم کاملا حس کردم یه دستنوشته ایرانیه

حالا نمیدونم مشکل از ترجمه بود یا خود کتاب،یه اثر افتضاحی بود که به هرکی میگفتی یه داستان بساز میتونست اینو بسازه

بسته بینهایت طاقچه ،فقط وابستگی به طاقچه میاره
همون خرید کتاب ارزش بیشتری داره حداقل واسه هزینه ای که میکنی احترام قائلی وواسه هرچیزی هزینه نمیکنی

Anche se uno non sapesse chi l'avesse scritta, conoscendo un po' di teatro, riconoscerebbe lo stile di Goldoni, quello stile comico, irriverente e gioioso. È per questo che mi piace sempre leggere qualsiasi cosa scritta da lui, perché alla fine ci scappa sempre una risata e tutto si aggiusta nel migliore dei modi.
Questa volta le scene raccontano di come un suocero, dopo la morte del figlio, cerca la strada più vantaggiosa per far risposare la nuora, che al momento è a suo carico, senza dover restituire la dote... Ma come si sa bene.. Le donne sono sempre le piú furbe!
