Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .

I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. Duel Abduction by Eve Langlais

3rd book Alien Abduction series. Can be read as a standalone.
Humorous and very sexy. M-F-M.
Teacher Louisa and her students are kidnapped by green aliens and then rescued by a couple of purple aliens. And Louisa thinks those purple guys are pretty hot which makes her hot. Being almost six feet tall herself, the fact that the purple men tower over her and think her abundant curves are yummy, is a huge turn on.

I enjoyed the audio version. The men stayed true in constantly one-upping and fighting each other in a brotherly fashion. And the students were surprisingly resilient. I can see them making huge waves around the galaxy in future series.

As with all this author’s series, don’t read the last page unless you want just a taste of the next adventure.

Dual Terrors!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💚🖤💙
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘
World building: 🌏🌍🌎
Character development: 🥲😳😋

The heroine: Louisa - she is house mother to a group of teenage girls who are wards of the state. The short bus they were in on a trip to the museum nearly hit a squat creature and the driver passed out sending the bus careening off a cliff. Though it ends up floating upward instead of down towards the bottom of the cliff. Only to find they end up in a spaceship with the same ugly green skinned creature they nearly hit in the road.

The Heroes: Brax and Xarn - they are best friends and Xarn is a cousin to Tren and Jaro from books one and two. Brax and Xarn are now the greatest mercenaries in the Galaxy since Tren and Jaro retired, though a new merc is coming up in the world as well. They do everything together. They are paid double their going rate to kill the crew of a spaceship, so they appropriate the ship which is said to hold a priceless treasure.

The Story: Brax and Xarn are surprised to find a bunch of human teenagers and a beautiful human female aboard the ship. They are knocked out after getting into a fight over the human female. They wake to being tied up by the humans. Though they are know as the Dual Terrors, they are often not taken seriously because they joke and bicker between themselves as they are in the midst of battle or brawls.

It isn’t long before the guys need to rescue Louisa and the girls so they take off on their own ship. Though Brax and Xarn are used to sharing everything, they fight over Louisa. They try to make her choose between them, each of them wanting to win her favor. The book did get steamy, but I didn’t like the story as much as in the last two books.

The book is told in multiple points of view via dual narration. Like the first two books in this series, the narrators are J.F. Harding and Holly Chandler. They did a good job, both have clear voices and good cadence. I have been enjoying this series which is different than a lot of the alien romance books I have read, many of which have the human women crash landing on an alien planet. These take place mostly on spaceships and space stations, which I like. This one did have an adventure on a planet they crashed on, but the entire book didn’t take place on that planet.

Dual Abduction is book three in the Alien Abduction series by Eve Langlais. This book is fun, light-hearted, sexy and full of laughs.

What another fun read in the Alien Abdication series and it can be read as a stand-alone.

Here we get a bunch of hellions - teenage girls, their teacher, and two sexy purple aliens. When we start our teacher Louisa is reflecting on life when her and her students all end up being abducted not by the purple aliens, but by little green alien men who plan on selling them into slavery. Then along comes Braz and Xarn hoping for a big score, but end up with a bunch of teenagers and their teacher.

Brax and Xarn share everything and they work together to win over this reluctant human who is not sure about taking on two purple alien men as mates. It was fun watching Brax and Xarn team up to win over their mate.

I enjoyed Louisa and her students. She’s got a protective streak for these kids even though they are difficult kids. I liked that the teenagers where capable of taking care of themselves and found a place to belong in this new world. I also liked that Louisa goes through a verity of emotions on how she fells and shouldn’t feel towards two men who clearly want to claim her as their own.

Besides the alien abduction romance we are also treated to a little action and adventure. I'm having a lot of fun with the Alien Abduction series. It's fun, easy to read, and just all out enjoyable.

As is the norm with me when I read an Eve Langlais book, I found myself thoroughly enchanted by both the sassy heroine and her sometimes clueless (but always hunky) heroes. Louisa's desire to protect her underage charges and her willingness to throw herself headlong into battle against creatures that are straight out of a sci-fi movie made me grin. Brax and Xarn coming to blows over who's going to get to keep her was hilarious. And then there's the sex. Brax and Xarn know how to show a lady a good time -- both on their own and together. *thumbs up* to that!

One of the things that makes this series so fun is how unapologetically bloodthirsty everyone is. Louisa isn't afraid to attack her captors. Brax and Xarn *like* fighting their way out of trouble. Tren, Jaro, and their respective mates aren't happy unless they're kicking someone's butt. Heck, even Louisa's delinquent charges are nearly as violent as those hunky purple alien mercenaries that we've come to know and love over the course of these books. Those girls are menaces. In a good way.

The setup for book 4 has me itching to jump into it. I just love the way we're given a little snippet of what to expect. It makes the wait to read it so delicious. In fact, it pretty much makes me really want to slink over to Amazon and buy it right now. Well played, Eve Langlais. Well played.

Sassy, sexy, and full of enough purple aliens to satisfy even me, I want more. MOAR.

I didn't think it was as good as the first two books, but still entertaining enough. I am wondering if the series will have the girls that were captured with their teacher...

A series of mishaps and misunderstandings seem to plague these three, but that is not unexpected, knowing what we know about these two purple warriors! Lots of fun and heat, as these three bumble their way to their HEA <3

Louisa isn't having the best of days, abducted by aliens while on a field trip with her delinquent orphan girls kind of sucks, but not without resources she discovers the small green aliens aren't as tough as they look, so the girls arm themselves for a takeover.

Brax and Xarn have been best friends since they were born and brothers in swords since they could hold them up. There is nothing these two mercenaries won't share, except when they take a job and find Louisa, then all bets are off and it's every alien for themselves as they set to seduce Louisa and make her choose which one she wants to take to bed.

But she's denying both men, scared she'll break their friendship, and also they are purple aliens! But what's an earth girl to do when she's tag teamed by two hunky alien men who suddenly seem to think three isn't a crowd after all...

"Watch out universe, because if you thought the purple warriors, Brax and Xarn, were a menace to the galaxy before, then hang on tight, because hopelessly in love, they’re more deadly - and hilarious - than ever."

More! I absolutely have to have more! This series is undeniably addictive - it's witty, funny, sexy, entertaining, well written and hot! That's enough adjectives? Not nearly, but I'll refrain myself. Dual Abduction continues where Accidental Abduction and Intentional Abduction left off - Brax and Xarn the joking duo of extremely hot and dangerous purple alien hunks are about to meet their mate and her herd of delinquent teenage girls freshly abducted from earth and itching to get back. Of course that being a big no-no, they instead settle in the warriors' ship and wreak havoc on the furniture and on their minds and this is a delicious cue for frustration, embarrassment and earthly dating tips to get Louisa to come over to the Team Alien.

Dual Abduction made me laugh out loud, cringe at embarrassment and blush at the sexual endeavors. Who knew aliens had voyeuristic sides? Langlais knows how to write hot sex, and not just that, but built to it with sexual tension hot enough to fuel few spaces crafts! Dual Abduction being twice as hot with the bad boy hunks setting after our heroine's heart, teasing her, tempting her and showing her pleasure despite her virtuous attempts to steer clear of the best friends. That, girls, makes for a sizzling hot delicious read!

I have come to love science fiction romance, when I was younger I read lots of Star Wars novels, and now that I'm all into Romance, these two are so married! Dual Abduction is mainly about the romance, but I loved all the science fiction, the umm... well, molesting showers, space crafts, alien planets and vegetation, the non-humanoid aliens, the odd customs, the odd gestures and the weird cultures! I loved how eccentric and unabashed Brax and Xarn were and how they contracted with the slightly reserved and religious Louisa, who had a tough streak a mile wide, due to her teacher job.

I won't go on and on about how great this novel is ( though I want to squee and gush! ) but I will demand you buy the series! ;) If you have any interest in sci-fi romance then you must pick out these three books Accidental Abduction, Intentional Abduction and Dual Abduction because - trust me on this - you want to read them back to back and you will be annoyed if you can't start the next one right away. Ten dollars so well spent! ;)

Want my reviews on all these bad boys? Here they are - all 5 STAR mind you. ;) Accidental Abduction, Intentional Abduction and Dual Abduction!

Also, there is a fourth book in the works! Which just gets me giddy, waiting for the next Alien Abduction installment to come out in late 2012/early 2013!

There are so many things that I absolutely loved about Dual Abduction. First of all I love the Eve. Her characters are always fun to read. Her books always have a great blend of humor and very sexy romance. I have enjoyed reading Xarn and Brax’s antics from the moment they were introduced. Louisa did not disappoint in the least. She is witty and brave and exactly what the Dual Terrors (Dual Goofs) needed. Brax and Xarn and their reactions to the teen girls are quite amusing. The girls keep the guys on their toes.

Louisa a teacher and caregiver to a home for orphaned (delinquent hell spawned demons) teens. She is just a bit perplexed when she and her charges are abducted by aliens. Little does she know that the abductions don’t stop there. Her girls are her number one priority. She has to get all of them back to Earth. There are just a few problems with going home; the biggest is the two purple hotties that are her rescuers. They seem to want to keep her and Louisa can’t seem to find any problems with that, except shouldn’t she choose just one of them.

Brax and Xarn try from the moment they meet Louisa to get her attention. They want her. It just takes them a while to figure out that neither one can have her. They must share. The guys seduction of Louisa is hot! They are willing to do anything to make her happy. They are willing to do anything to keep her. I loved reading this side of my favorite aliens from this series.

Readers are given tiny peeks into the lives of Tren and Megan, and Alyia and Jaro. I loved the little peeks into their lives since they found their happily ever after. Tren and Megan’s baby is in need of a nanny, thus readers are given a peek of the next hero in Eve’s incredible Alien Abduction series. As always when I finish a book from this series, I can’t wait for the next on to come out!

Favorite quote, conversation between Brax and Louisa.
“You are not a whore.”
“Really? What do you call a woman who sleeps with two guys?”
“Ours.”

This story was abso-positive-lutely frukxing fantastic! Langlais’ vivid, larger than life descriptions made it easy for me to travel the galaxy on this suspenseful, hotter than Hades journey with her loveable characters. The fast paced, action intensive plot held my attention, keeping me on the edge of my seat. Langlais also continues to develop her alien culture, highlighting family ties and interactions that were so very real. Everything combined for a phenomenal whole that I didn’t dare put down.

Our introduction to Louisa is absolutely priceless. I mean, I can’t deny that I wouldn’t do the same thing in her situation, but I couldn’t stifle my giggles. I also felt as if I had a good sense of who she was after her opening ordeal. Her indecision and confusion throughout, especially with respect to her men, made her easy to identify with, while also highlighting the interpersonal relationships in the tale. Langlais also develops Brax and Xarn in such a manner that I really got to know the inseparable duo, while also getting a peak at who they are as individuals. This complexity of characters really took the tale to an entirely new level for me.

Hot sex & a suspenseful plot: What more can a gal ask for? Except maybe this double dose of purple leading men.

This is a light hearted, tongue in cheek enjoyable read worth your time.
Louise is a guardian for a group of very troubled teenagers who are on a bus trip when they are abducted by aliens who plan to sell them at a slave auction.
When the terrible two, cousins Brax and Xarn stumble across the girls and Louise the fun begins.
This is a really funny read with two crazy purple alien cousins squabbling over the same woman until they agree to share her. Unfortunately they forget to explain this to Louise.
In the meantime, they crash land, lose the girls, trudge across some strange planet to find the girls only to find the girls are surviving well on their own.
Then they get rescued by Brax and Xarn's family, what a hoot that was, only for Louise to be kidnapped.
As I said fun from start to finish.
If you like your aliens hot with over the top sassy women who are their equals this series is for you.
Read it to find out what the fun is all about.

The characters are pretty much all too dumb to live. You know those characters in movies and books that get it on in the middle of danger and you're like seriously a time and a place?! And you kind of want something bad to happen to them because of their inability to handle their hormones in times of danger? Yep these are those characters.

Then there's the fact that she's 6ft tall and of a stocky build with a history of supposedly kicking ass and yet constantly falls into the damsel in distress category.

And the dumping of the kids on another planet rather than finding a place for them in their lives didn't sit well with me. Honestly the dealing of the teenagers was the part that upset me the most.

This series is not for me.

This is book 3 in the alien adduction series. This is the story of two sword brothers who find a group of females who have been captured from earth. They are sent on a mission to rescue them but they do not know that they are females they think it's a treasure. They both fall for the same female and try to make her decide which one she wants of them. She decide she wants them both and we see what happens after that. This so far is the funniest book in the series I love this series.

Liked the book, but couldn't enjoy it due to continuity and editing errors

I should start by saying that I liked the book. But there were so many things wrong with it that I couldn't enjoy it. There were a couple continuity issues between this and the previous two books that kept bugging me. And about half way through, there were editing issues which I hadn't seen in the first 2. Not as many as I usually see in ebooks now days, but enough to bug me.

First Reaction: A hellion teacher + a pair of alien mercenaries + a vengeful god with a strange sense of humor = A galactic romance parody?

What I liked about this book:

All the characters, both primary and secondary, draw you in.

A lot of comical moments but still manages to have a serious air when necessary.

The characters go on an adventure, the story isn’t solely driven by sex scenes!

Great steamy scenes ;)

The characters are well developed and grow throughout the story.

What I didn’t like about this book:

Separate from claiming Lousia as theirs in a way that makes it seem like if she doesn’t have a choice, the sword brothers also trick Lousia into mating with both of them without speaking to her about it first.

Would I recommend this book? Yes. I particularly enjoyed the audiobook version!
