"Chasing Lizzie" (ARC Angel Protection Book 2) by Jestina Michaels is a fantastic read. I loved Lizzie and Chase's story. This is a wonderful addition to this series. This story is packed with action, romance, second chances, family, close friends, and more. I'm anxious to see what happens next with the interesting characters in this series. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, action, and series.

Tormentor from high school
Lizzie had a huge crush on Chase in high school but he became a jerk who humiliated her and broke her heart. Nine years later she still has trust issues and low self-esteem from it. Forced to work with him, she is now trying to reconcile the jerk from school and the nice guy he seems to have become. Her love for him didn't die, she just buried it under hate and panic attacks. This story shows that people can change and deserve a second chance.

Second chances
A second chance if they are willing to move forward and let go. Jestina Michaels does a great job with characters that are relatable along with plenty going on in the storyline. Very romantic, twists and turns and some heat.

Suspenseful Romance at their Second Chance
Entertaining. Lizzie and Chase get a do over from wbw in high school. They still have sparks, but can they truly get over their past? Meanwhile, they are working a case together and the stakes just went up exponentially.

This is the second book in Jestina Michaels ARC Angel Protection series. Chase and Lizzie were no strangers, but they might as well be. I am enjoying the new series! Highly recommend!
