Zorro

I've been playing with fire my entire life, so messing with two of my club brother's sister was just up my alley. Ruby, the younger half-sister to Grim and Axel.

She and I had been flirting for ages, playfully toying with one another.

That is, until she went off to one of the most prestigious colleges in the United States-- Stonewall University.

She joined a sorority and did things all the nice girls do. But one day she came flying back here. We thought it was because of Grim's motorcycle accident, but it wasn't. She was attacked on campus by a group of men.

I was supposed to wait and let one of our own handle it. One who was starting his term at Stonewall in the fall . . . but I couldn't wait. Seeing her in pain ripped me apart, especially after she told me what happened.

I knew right then and there she'd be mine. But I needed to do one thing first-- find her attackers and make them suffer in ways they never imagined.

I’ve got to admit I haven’t read all of this series but after reading this I’m hoping I get enough time to read the previous books.

This is Zorro and Ruby’s story. I absolutely loved both of these characters. It’s a slow burn romance but I definitely thought that was the best way forward with these two.

The storyline is brilliant and had me hooked from start to finish.

Slow Burn MC

Zorro and Ruby were getting well acquainted when Ruby had to leave for college. She had gotten a scholarship to an elite college she would never have been able to afford otherwise even with the help her brothers were giving her. Now in her senior year she accompanied her roommate and friend Portia to a Halloween party and that's when her life drastically changed. Everyone thought she left school unexpectedly because her brother had an accident which drew her back home to Montana.

Once back home Zorro knew something was up with Ruby. They had a draw toward one another that was undeniable. The chemistry and the love Zorro showed toward Ruby was beyond what was imaginable. Would Zorro seek revenge on Ruby's attackers? With everything beginning to blow up at the club with rival MC's would he be able to keep Ruby safe? This was another great MC read from this author.

Ruby had went off to college and now she’s returning home to be with her brother’s Grim and Axel after being attacked on campus. Once she returns Zorro knew that something was wrong and he was determined to protect her. The nightmares still haunt Ruby and Zorro was the only one that helped her feel better. The attraction and chemistry between Zorro and Ruby was palpable. A fast paced and exciting read and one I enjoyed immensely.

This a great story about people who shouldn’t work but do.
He will do anything to protect her. She snuck up under his defenses and deeply into his heart..
She is the one who he can be himself with and show his more tender side. She will do anything for him, because he has claimed her heart as his own, and she gladly lets him have it.
Their love is totally and deeply ingrained into them like the vines of a rose plant.

This was a good read. Ruby was away at school. Until something bad happens top her and now she is back home. Here she spends time with Zorro. Once he finds out what happened to her he seeks revenge. The ending of the book tells us that more this will be taken care of later so I will have to make sure that I read that one.

That is until she was attacked on campus, now Zorro will do whatever he must to find those that attacked her can make her his. Fast-paced read with loads of drama and emotion. Intense chemistry and lots of twists and turns. I liked it.

Zorro Reapers MC #16 by Elizabeth Knox: Wow!! could this story get any better as we find Ruby returning to her brothers Grim and Axel after her attack on campus as a changed feisty young woman trying to heal from her pain. Through all of this drama, the one person who has been her rock is Zorro. Now these two are together much to Ruby's brother's disdain. Ruby has had a crush on Zorro forever and now these two will begin a relationship filled with passion and growth as Zorro helps Ruby overcome her nightmares with love and understanding as she is trying to deal with her attack. Loved the interaction with all of the men and women from past books who are front and center in this story. These woman are as bad ass as their men. When the club is attacked by Boomer who has it out for his Sister Cheyenne, tensions are high, relationships develop. As Ruby and Zorro get closer, she finds out about Shiloh from Bull, will this come between her and Zorro or will Ruby come to terms that the past is the past? When Zorro informs her brothers that she is the one for him and that he is claiming her, he finally gets Grim and Axel's blessing. While they are gearing up for a war with Boomer of the Corrupt Kings MC, the one thing on Zorro's mind is to deal with Ruby's attackers. Between Zorro and Frost they will get justice for Ruby and get her attackers but not the leader who instigated everything which will be left for Dex to handle. It seems Ruby and Zorro will finally be together as these two have a connection that will last forever. As usual more drama is coming to the men and women of the Reapers MC, Zane is back with his woman and now Cheyenne and Frost will be thrown into the mix and not to mention having to deal with Boomer and his club. Once again Elizabeth Knox takes her readers into this exciting, dangerous, passionate world of the Reapers MC with this explosive story about Zorro and Ruby. Can't wait to find out what Elizabeth has in store for her readers next in this exciting series surrounding these edgy bikers of the Reapers MC!

Loved reading Zorro! Elizabeth Knox, author did an outstanding job with Ruby and Zorro’s story. To try and minimize the confusion I will use Z for Zorro, the man, and Zorro for the book. Zorro was a quick read that answered some questions and concluded part of an ongoing issue but also introduced some new ones that will be featured in other books. Elizabeth has a author’s note in the back of the book stating that they will be in other books. Not all of them will be in the Reapers MC Series. Back to Zorro, I enjoyed getting to know a little bit more about Z and his attitude about how he feels about Ruby. Ruby and Z did not have smooth sailing but they are learning about each other and some of their past that could have influenced their future if it was not resolved. I am so happy that it was and it did not turn into a really big deal. Now some of the new issues to arise will be definitely worth finding out what happens next. I am totally looking forward to doing just that. Zorro had several elements that made me give them a 5⭐️ Rating which are the twists and turns that come up not to mentions some of the revelations that came out. I, also, loved the exact that Elizabeth has a way of drawing you in and having some serious issues come to light and how her characters in the book reacts and solves them. I highly recommend the whole Reapers MC Series as Elizabeth does a fantastic job keeping reader engaged in each of the books as the series continues on. I know when Elizabeth concludes the Reapers MC Series I will be very sad to have to let go of each of the couples that were covered in the series. Anyway, hope you will enjoy Zorro as much as I did.

I received a free ARC copy in exchange for my honest review. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.

Zorro is book sixteen in the Reapers MC series. This book could be read alone I guess but reading the series is definitely better. There are so many characters and back stories. While Ruby and Zorro do have a happily ever after not everything is wrapped up and lead ins to the next book are there.

This book does have items that could be triggers for some so take them seriously.

Both Zorro and Ruby are broken people who are drawn to each other. She is 23 and he is 41 and is a Reaper like her brothers. Her brothers are not happy about this.

I really felt for Ruby. She is trying so hard to graduate from college but things happen that make her run home. She relies on Zorro to be her strength. She blossoms being with him.

Even with the age gap, this couple fit together. There are several items that still need to be resolved but that will come in future books. The guys and women in the club are a great family who put the family first. The Reaper MC is a read that will keep you engaged, I read it in one sitting. My only complaint is I wanted a little more interaction between Ruby and Zorro. I would like to see more of their relationship. The good thing of this series is I am sure we will see more of this couple as everyone interacts.

Author content warning: 'This story could include things like: rape, kidnapping, abuse, domestic violence, drug, alcohol abuse and many other potential triggers.

Ruby Braxton is only able to go to the prestigious Stonewall University due to a full ride scholarship. But it comes with strings, the Scorpio Society will take it all away if she doesn't join them and do their bidding. After being attacked and raped on campus she moves to her brothers club the Reapers MC.

Santiago 'Zorro' Medina is a member of the Reapers who tends to stay in the background but Ruby brings him out, wanting to be more for her.

I've missed a few books in this series and I think there was backstory that might have filled in the blanks I felt in this book. Zorro and Ruby have a steamy connection and I wish we'd had more time with them.

This story felt like the beginning of a larger story. Zorro and Ruby get their happily ever after but there were several arcs left unresolved or open ended, leaving me wondering where the rest of the book was until I read the author's note at the end explaining which future books would resolve the other storylines.

I received a free copy of this book and I'm voluntarily leaving a review. If you like my reviews I hope you will follow my blog. https://wyldheartreads.wordpress.com/

YOU GUYSSSSSSSS. I was REALLY hoping that we'd get something from Ruby!!! I remember a little here and there about here and Zorro, but my memory doesn't really work like that. Per her usual, Liz gave us EVERYTHING we wanted and so much more!!!! This book had the PERFECT amount of drama, grit and lust!!

I loved everything about Zorro and Ruby. I love how we got a little slow burn while they figured out what they were doing. I loved how the brothers were super protective of Ruby, and how Zorro was willing to die for her. I even loved her snotty friend (who could have an entire paragraph written about her nonsense... butttt not right now). These two gave me a lot. I loved the tender moments, the sweet moments and the super spicy moments. I think that these two were an odd pairing, but also the perfect pairing. Ruby is SOOOO innocent, especially for being around the MC, and Zorro is so rough around the edges. Gotta love when sweet women can bring naught/nasty men to their knees!

And we have to talk about the MC itself!!!! We got to see more from the couples, but we got some really good nitty gritty here. We finally got to see what happened with Grim and we got a little more out of Ghost. I love that Ghost and Zorro are friends, but I also love the bad a$$ stuff they did together! This MC is so epic, I don't ever want it to end!!!

In this book Zorro and Ruby have a flirtatious, but innocent relationship. But then Ruby go to one of the most prestigious colleges in the US, Stonewall University. While there she joins a sorority and for the most part enjoys her college life. But one night after a party, she didn’t even want to be at, she gets attacked by a group of men. When she rushes to get everyone assumed it was because of her brother crash. But what happens when they find out the real reason?
Zorro and Ruby have some what of a slow burn romance, but I think that was just what they needed. The chemistry between them was amazing. I really liked Zorro in this book because he never hid how he felt about her, and he was alway super considerate about how she felt about what happened to her. I’m always a fan of the protective boyfriend and he portrayed it perfectly. This book truly kept me hooked through the whole thing, I could not put it down!
Overall, I loved everything about this book, from the characters and world building to the action and steam! I would recommend this to fans of dark romance and to older readers because there is adult(smutty) scenes.
Trigger Warnings: rape, cussing, assault

Zorro falls hard for Ruby and maker her his old lady!
by sewsummore

I have read about many of the characters in this series in previous books, and it was good to catch up with what was happening in their lives. Zorro was a full-patch member of the club, and he had fallen hard for Ruby, Axel, and Grim's half-sister the previous year. In her final year of college, she was attacked and sexually assaulted, and she returned to the club after Halloween. It was obvious something traumatic had happened to her, and she eventually told him what had happened. Their relationship was had not been a sexual one, despite spending each night in each other's arms. Zorro was a lot older than Ruby, and he had been prepared to wait until she was ready. After learning what had happened, he vowed to avenge her and make the men pay with their lives. It saddened me to read what had happened to Ruby, but I was glad that Zorro was there for her. This was a quick read that I enjoyed, I hope Zorro and Ruby have a long and happy life together, and I look forward to the release of the next book in this absorbing series.

The drama is good

This is Zorro’s story however we get some juicy details about many other members in the MC which is great. Ruby is sweet but acts younger in this story. She doesn’t seem to know anything about the MC life. This was odd to me and did not fit the timeline because of her brothers Axel and Grim and they do indeed have old ladies during this book. This part is disappointing because Ruby has to follow this path in the story. Where she acts like she doesn’t know what’s going on or how things work. We are inside Zorro and Ruby’s thoughts most times. We get bits and pieces of their separate pasts. I like them together, but their attraction was better in the previous book. In this book it’s more of Zorro being her safe place. In the previous book, Zorro is the one who recognized that Ruby needed someone to help her and Ruby gave him her V-card after her attack. So I was looking for more depth in their relationship than was given here. I don’t want to give too much away but again the other MC Club drama in this book is good. There is a war brewing plus some surprises near the end. Read On!

"Zorro" is book 16 in an MC series, can be read as a stand-alone but it's nice to know the back stories of some of the other characters. Ruby's half-brothers are part of an MC club, along with an older man she's admired from afar, Zorro. When Ruby is attacked on her college campus, she returns home to where she feels safe. There's no place safer than the arms of Zorro, who has been waiting for her. He is not a good man, but he's the perfect man for her. He loves her positivity and resilience. Will her brothers accept their relationship? Will Ruby be comfortable moving to the next level with Zorro? I like this story for its themes of protection, commitment, retribution and redemption. It is told in dual POV so motives and actions are easy to understand and consistent. I like the way that conflicts are resolved quickly with open communication and sometimes violence. Good plot, multi-layered characters and action make the pages fly by. Looking forward to the next story in this entertaining series featuring survivors and the people they love.

Once again Elizabeth Knox has managed to mess with my head in the best way possible her books have dark twists in them that could be triggers for some but for me just make them dark and gritty.

Zorro has been enjoying a flirtation with Axel and Grimm's half sister yes it may go somewhere but first Ruby has to go off to college she as won a scholarship for one of the most prestigious schools around and anything not covered her brothers will cover for her. She seems to be loving the life there and is doing everything that college entails and having fun until she heads home everyone thinks it is because of Grimm's accident but Zorro realises there is more to out Eventually she tells them that she attended a party with sorority sisters one she didn't want to attend and when she left she was attacked by a group of men The decision is made that a brother also about to start college will be the one to sort the issue but Zorro has no intention of that happening he is going to claim Ruby and before he can do that he needs to destroy the men that attacked his woman.

This is the 16th book in the Reaper’s series. I have not read any where near all but I;’d like to start at the beginning and read them one after another and I would suggest that. This story is about Zorro and Ruby. There are some very dark parts so be warned. There are triggers that will be hard for some readers. Ruby received a scholarship to a prestigious university with the aid of her brothers. With just one semester left Ruby's friend Porta drags her to a party and Zack and Ruby meet. Zack hugs but then slaps her butt and this upsets Ruby so she leaves and heads to a park where she is gang raped, anally, and beaten calm down. Next, she leaves for Montana to the Reapers club house. Her brothers know her enough to know something bad has happened. This is where she meets Zorro. This book had so many twists and turns I had whiplash. It left me a bit upset for days but it is a compelling read.

Zorro the next up in the Reapers MC series is a great fast paced easy read. I love this series and I like how they intertwine with the other charters of the mc also. Zorro and Ruby were getting to know each other when she left to go to the east coast for college... she gets attacked while at college and comes home to the mc and her brothers but doesn't tell anyone what happened. Eventually her and Zorro get together and for Zorro being such a keep to himself person that doesn't like drama or anything he is really a sweetheart with Ruby. When Ruby has nightmares about what happened to her sleeping with Zorro is the only thing to help keep them at bay and he is determined to help her and to protect her. Eventually her brother and the mc find out what happens and hatch a plan to get retribution for Ruby.
I loved not only getting Zorro and Ruby's story, I loved catching up on some of the other members of the mc.

Zorro always had a soft spot for Ruby, she was the only one he could truly be himself around but he was the younger sister of two club brothers. Ruby got a scholarship to a well to do college away from the MC. one night at a party she gets attacked and runs home to the MC, every one believes its because of her brother Grimms accident but when she is reluctant to go back she tells them what happened. Zorro always knew she was the one for him but hearing what she went through he and his MC brothers decide to take matters into their own hands. this is a slow burner romance between Zorro and Ruby that is a great addition to the Reapers MC series! well written with action, desires, suspense, drama and more!

Ruby is the younger sister of Grim and Axel. She left Stonewall University after she was attacked on Halloween, and now completing her degree online. She always had a crush on Santiago who was better known by his road name of Zorro with the Reaper's MC in Billings MT. She spent most nights with Zorro who kept her nightmares away. He always figured she was too young for him and he repeatedly told her that he wasn't a good man...but he wanted her anyway and she never looked at anyone else...so he asked Zane if he could take Frost and see if they couldn't find and end guys who attacked Ruby...but there are a lot of changes going on in the club including a visit from Cheyenne's brother which ended in bloodshed...so you will need to read this latest segment of the Reaper's MC to see what happens. Ruby had it all, two brothers who love and protect her, and a scholarship to a prestigious university on the East Coast. Unfortunately, in the one place she should be safe, she is attacked. The nightmares haunt her, and the only thing- the only person which makes her feel better is Zorro.

Zorro wants revenge on the monsters who hurt Ruby. He isn't too concerned as to how many he has to hurt to get it, either. They hurt his woman, the only person besides his Mama who loves him unconditionally despite his flaws. He'll move heaven and earth to make certain she never has to face those demons who dared touch her.

Very well written and a delight to read. Loving the continuation of the Reapers and their families. Also love the returning cast of favorite characters.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book from Booksprout.
Zorro is a member of the Reapers MC and very quiet. He's not known to be a loud person but always sits quietly and listen to others talk. He's had his eyes on Ruby, two of his MC brothers sister. Zorro is almost twenty years older than Ruby but that does not change how he feels about her. Ruby also has a crush on Zorro but because she's scared of what her brothers might say, she never acted on her crush. She's a student at Stonewall University, and when she was assaulted when she went out with her bestfriend Portia to a halloween party, she ran back home. When Zorro heard about Ruby's assault, he planned on seeking revenge for her, until their MC was attacked by a rival MC. With new threats coming their way, will Zorro have the time to seek revenge for Ruby, and how will Ruby react if he should do that.

This is the 16th book in this phenomenal series and is Zorro and Ruby’s story. These two always had a connection between them, and when Ruby receives a scholarship at an elite college it is a chance in a lifetime. When Ruby attends a party with her roommate it turns into a night which will change her forever, when she is attacked by a group of men. Returning home everyone assumes it is because her brother Grim had a bike accident, but Zorro know it is more than that. Zorro will protect Ruby no matter what and he is out for vengeance, but can he protect her when the club is under attack as well? This is a well written story which is fast-paced, and filled with danger, action, revenge, passion, dram, unconditional love, and palpable chemistry. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend for all MC lovers.

This box is part of a series and even though it is a stand alone, it is easier to understand who all the characters are if you’ve read the previous books since they go by their biker Nick names that if you don’t know them you have to figure out who they are and who they are involved with, you also won’t know righ off the bat if they are male or female. This book ties in with other series like the Steel Brothers but they are not necessary to read to understand the connections. Thereis plenty of danger, emotion, dark moments, heat etc. This is a great series and finding out more about how Ruby ends up not returning to school and stay in with her brothers at the club and get to know the sweet caring Zorro instead of the broody quiet solo biker he appears to be.

WOW! I cannot get enough of this series! I was the very edge throughout this book! I feel for Ruby. She is a tough woman and Zorro well he is the epitome of what a real man can and will do for what he holds dear to his heart and soul! Yes it nearly broke me when I read about Ruby and all that she had ahead of her! But being who she is I can understand her and what drives her! Zorro well he is just a really good bad man and heaven help whomever is in his way! This was a slow burn but the action is instant! I am going to say this; Miss Knox has really achieved greatness with this series! Fantastic and so bloody good!

Wow! What a ride Elizabeth Knox takes us on. This is a great addition to this series. It does have some triggering moments but the author handled them well. Ruby goes off to college and ends up getting attacked so she goes back home because her brother got in an accident. It was the perfect excuse not to stay at campus anymore without having to explain to her brothers why she couldn’t be there anymore. The story is fast paced and a page turner... you won’t want to stop until you get to the last page. A MC romance story about not letting pasts define the future. Ruby has to learn not to be scared away from happiness. I can’t wait to read axels story!

Ruby has been teasing and hanging with Zorro for a long time. Ruby goes to college and ends up being attacked and raped. It takes Ruby a while before she talks about what happened. Zorro does not want to wait for the MC to handle this and he wants to teach them a lesson himself and make them suffer. I love this MC series but this one takes the top spot as my favorite. I just love how Zorro and Ruby interacted the banter and caring. This had me reading until the early morning. I could not put it down. It was a good read but there are spots that gave me pause. Great story and well written. I loved it.
