You've heard of second chance romance, but what about third time's the charm?
After being divorced three years, Megan Adams is desperate for marriage and a family before it's too late. When she tries to help her friend Shark upgrade his rugby team's reputation in the community, her attraction to him is rekindled all over again. Could he ever think of her as more than a friend--or is she risking one heck of a shark bite?
When you score in rugby, it's called a try. When it comes to scoring with the ladies, Shark Kelly usually doesn't have to try. But when the captain of his rugby team takes a liking to his friend Megan, he tries to stop the jealous feelings he never expected to have. And there might be a lot of other things he'd be willing to try--if Megan is brave enough to swim with a shark.
Author's Note: Thought the rest of the series is fairly light and funny, Shark just refused to conform. This book, though it does have its funny moments, has deeper and heavier themes than the previous books in the series. I promise you'll understand why by the end, though! Thanks for reading!

Shannon Kelly needs help, and fast. His rugby team is crashing and burning due to some of the team acting like little boys off the field instead of the gentlemen they're supposed to be; as a result, sponsors are dropping them left and right, some people aren't respecting the team as they should, and things are just going downhill quickly. In order to create some good publicity for the team and not lose any more of their sponsors, he implores Megan Adams to help him.
But can he forgot their one night of hot passion two years ago?
Megan Adams is surprised when she says "yes" to helping Shark with his PR problem. Pro bono, no less. But she remembers their one night of love and promises like it was yesterday. Yet when her parents reveal something to her about Shark, herself, and their lives, her whole world is thrown into turmoil. She cannot deny her feelings for Shark, but with his walls up and now the secret is out, how can the two manage to work together and keep themselves from getting burned again?
The sharks are drawing closer, because they sense the deep, burning attraction between Shark and Megan. Now the two just need to fight off the dangers and problems that are meeting them full steam ahead, or else lose one another once again- this time, forever.
4.5 stars! Shark is Shay Shay. The author had me at Shay Shay. With that flashback to who they were, I was hooked and involved with the story. They were 36, but had been friends when they were younger.
He is now Shark and an EMT and a rugby player. She is all grown up, divorced, and works in PR. She gets a great idea to improve his team's reputation while working towards a promotion.
Things do not work out smoothly, but some unexpected twists takes the story to interestkng places and drama that worked so well for me. It gave the characters depth, and I was rooting for them to get together.
There was a question of who could be trusted, the truth about his dad and the divorce, as well as some surprising support.
There were appearances and mentions of characters from previous books in the series.
Note: I received an advance reading copy. This is my honest review. I have read and enjoyed other books by this author.
Book Review: Shark Bite Author: KL Montgomery FIVE STARS Ms. Montgomery continues her Romance in Rehoboth series with this 7th book. This time she has written a sports romance with a witty and yet a very serious side to it. There is so much depth to this book it just makes you see things a bit differently than her previous books. Shark is a very deep character and he will do anything to help anyone. Megan and Shark have known each other for a while now and the Rugby team he is on is needing some positive publicity and Megan is going to do whatever it is she can do to help them get it. Thank goodness for good friends and great connections. Just like with everything else, KL Montgomery has become a "ONE CLICK" author for me and I devour everything she writes. I just can't get enough. KLH
I really enjoyed reading Shark and Megan's story. This is the first book of the series that I read, and I didn't feel as though anything was missing. I'm sure I'd know more about the other characters and their stories by reading the other books, but I liked that this was stand-alone worthy. I liked the story's premise and how the author really did research to understand Rugby. I liked that the game and rules weren't just glanced over but threaded throughout the story.
This is a cute THIRD chance romance that I found entertaining and cute with a good message about bullying. I liked how Shark handled his issues, despite his past hurts. There was one thing that I wished was resolved that really wasn't. I thought the ending was cute and well deserved.
Shark Bite by K.L. Montgomery is the seventh installment in the Romance in Rehoboth series and it does not disappoint. It is just as fantastic as the previous six.
Shark Bite is about Rugby player Shark and aspiring PR agent Megan. Shark is looking for someone to help rehab the perception of the local rugby team the Rehoboth Riptide. There are some very serious subjects that come into play but there is still the signature hilarity that is woven into all the books of the Rehoboth series. You also get a taste of all the couples from the previous books as everyone joins in the fun to help the Riptide. Another bonus is that if you are as clueless about rugby as I am you get to learn a little about the game and some of the traditions.
I really like this entire series of books, because they have great characters that are relatable. Shark is an EMT who has a passion for rugby. Megan works in PR after deciding the family pharmacy business wasn't for her. They run in the same circle of friends, and have a history. It takes Shark needing Megan's PR skills to realize just how much history they actually have. Throw in some kids who need mentoring, and things can really get out of control. K. L. Montgomery always takles the tuff subjects, and Shark Bite is no different. Be prepared for some surprises and a little education on rugby.
Absolutely loved this addition to the Rehoboth series! Megan and Shark come together to work on helping his rugby team with a public relations issue - neither of them knowing all the times they have met before. They were best friends when they were kids before they were ripped apart. They hooked up at a friends wedding not knowing who the other was from their past. What they thought was a second chance was actually their third!
The author does a great job of navigating this story and the issue of bullying. It’s a great story that shows true love can happen at any tome and can last a lifetime! Definitely worth the read!!
This is a well written story. She understood the sport well. This is a neat story for its a third chance romance. Shannon Kelly is a great character. He's been thru alot and owns it. I like how the author has both Shark's thoughts and Megan's in the story. It makes it a interesting read. This is a great book to read and hard to put down. I like Megan she is a strong character and a neat person to know. I love the ending. Its kinda neat. I will be looking for more of this series for it was hard to put down. J
I always enjoy Montgomery's stories, but I have a new favorite in this one. This was such a fun read, super cute and sweet, and I absolutely loved the premise. The characters, as always, are well developed, and the inclusion of the characters from the whole Rehoboth series is always fun. I knew this story was a second chance romance, but it takes a completely unexpected turn in how it's a second chance that I just fell in love with. Shark and Megan are the cutest couple ever and their story is a treat!
Shannon aka Shark needs big help getting his rugby team image cleaned up . He turns to Megan who works for Pr firm. There’s a simmering chemistry between the two so their collaboration starts out a little rocky. As the story and their chemistry grows there’s some unsettling news about both their pasts brought to the forefront. Shannon must deal with his issues and Megan is ready to catch him when he falls. This is book seven in the series and it is just as fantastic as the first. A fun romantic read!

A truly heartwarming story that touches you in surprising ways. Shark, real name Shannon, is trying to improve his rugby team's image with the community. Megan is looking for a boost to her newly minted Public Relations career. When Meric suggests that Shark ask her for help, Shark thinks of their recent past in his hesitation. Her agreeing is the beginning of a story of discovering how much more history they have together and just how far things can go than a hookup.
The author pulls you into the lives of the characters and never lets go. Some of our old friends return but we are also introduced to some new ones. The story flows smoothly and the characters are well-rounded.

I know nothing about rugby so this was really interesting. There were a lot of moving parts and i like how things rolled up and down throughout the story - there wasn’t just one crescendo. I loved the characters and their lives and what they all got up to together.

A entertaining read full of drama, suspense, second chances and a whole lot of steam. The characters are friends but both want more. Their chemistry is steamy. The story will hold your attention all the way through. I enjoyed this book.
I definitely would give this book 6 stars. Fantastic characters, more twists than a rollercoaster and a hero who just doesn’t think he can be a hero. A wonderfully warm, but definitely not fluffy, this is a fantastic read and a very welcome return to Rehoboh for me. Well done Krista
Love Megan and Shark. This can be read as a stand alone, as I have not read any others. I did not feel like I was missing out. Shark and Megan are so cute and perfect together. They get a third chance at romance, will they get it?
K.L. Montgomery did a great job on Shark Bite, the story was written well. Shark and Megan were strong characters that were made for each other. They may have had a few obstacles but it's nothing they couldn't handle. they were good together. I enjoyed their journey.
Seventh In the series! I really enjoyed reading Megan & sharks story! They always say 2nd time is worth the try but what about the third time! This was a fun light story and looking forward to reading more!
Part of a series but can be read as a standalone. A great story with characters that you will fall in love in. The backstory of Shark and Megan add to the storyline, and help to follow their history. A definite must read.
