“Liar, liar, pants on fire.”

The words scrawled on the back of my newest stalker mail makes my blood run cold. I have no idea if it's the lie I know, or one that I don't.

Since arriving back into Shadow Grove, I've been stalked, tormented, chased and almost killed. I've been lied to, repeatedly, by people I was growing to trust.

Liar.

That word haunts me. Someone knows more about my life than I do. Someone is taunting me with answers and teasing me with secrets. Am I desperate enough to fall for more deception?

Archer and his boys made a huge mistake when they lied to me. They thought they could play me but they're about to learn that they've met their match. No one stabs Madison Kate and gets away with it.

➽ KITTY KATS CRAZY ABOUT BOOKS
2ir3yw5

'LIAR' is the second full length book in Tate James' 'Madison Kate' series. It picks up where the first book left off.

Oh how I loved the first book, so when this dropped on my kindle, life was made!!

It's been two full weeks since Halloween since Madison had crashed the boys car she'd stolen that night, it's also the night she was brutally attacked. It's also that very same night where she accused the boys of despicable things. But it's these same boys (Archer, Kody & Steele) who picked her up off the floor and dropped her off at the hospital all worried out of their minds.

Until she was released. But MK doesn't make it easy for these boys, as only she can, she keeps them on their toes. Taunting them, teasing them, taming them.

Back at home, back at school, life slowly goes back to normal. Or so I thought.

Just when your lulled into a false sense of security when out of nowhere things started heating up.
More drama
More secrets
More heat
More angst
More threats

That person or persons is still out there after MK, things still turn up in the mail, but they also take things a wee bit further, so it's still a cat and mouse game to find out whose behind it all.

The author undoubtably clicked it up a notch with this one, and definitely has your mind in a tailspin as more lies are left dangling at MK's feet and we're left floundering trying to work out who the puppet master was as we try and piece the puzzle pieces together.

Along with MK I didn't know who to trust, I didn't know who was lying, I didn't know what ulterior motives they all had, who was pulling the strings?

106062113-266016877996540-6321555185795162569-n

This author has such a magical way with words, everything she writes turns into pure gold, Undeniably unique, unquestionably unprecedented. She keeps us on our toes, twists and turns have us guessing throughout, making us fall in love with her characters, all falling down the rabbit hole chasing that next high only her books can give us.

My heart rate spiked up, my eyes read faster than they had ever done before, my palms got clammy, my foot starting tapping AND THEN...I'd reached the end...

Aaah! I fucking loved it! 😍🙌🏼

The Madison Kate series has it all! Secrets, murder, lies, angst, drama, violence, twists and turns, sex, a sassy heroine, and not one but three hot alphas!

If that sounds like a series you would enjoy, dive on in with the first book, Hate! You won't regret it!

I just don't get what this book is about. What is the plot? What is the purpose of her stalker or all of the other random mysteries that are introduced and we never get any answers to?

At this point, I'm here for Kody and the sex and that's about it.

Secrets, mysteries and danger!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧
Romance: 💙💚🖤💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎🌏
Character development: 😳🤬😏🤓😎

The heroine: Madison Kate Danvers - her father has shown that he doesn’t care about her. Her mother was murdered when she was 11. She lives with three guys that want to take over her life.

The Hero(es): Archer D’Ath (a.k.a. blue eyes) - he is an up and coming MMA fighter and he seems to hate MK though he wants her as well and hates that he wants her.
Max Steele (a.k.a. grey eyes) - He is a genius on the piano and he is the easiest one of the three for Madison Kate to forgive.
Kodiak “Kody” James (a.k.a. green eyes) - he is a personal trainer and coaches Archer in his bid to become a professional MMA fighter. He is the most chill of the three guys.

The Story: Madison Kate has a stalker and someone is trying to kill her. The guys say they want to protect her but go about it in ways that are very controlling and they keep a ton of secrets and never reveal their motives to her. They think the stalker and the person trying to kill her are two different people.

“I don't have the emotional capacity to navigate the minefield of your fucked up baggage.”

I don’t want to get into the details of the storylines and plot, but to say that this one was super steamy and full of mystery, secrets and danger. There were multiple tense and suspenseful situations and I have no clue who the bad guys (or girls) are. There was another surprising cliffhanger and we find out more information which of course only leads to more questions. I really enjoyed this one and I’m excited for the rest of the series.

✅ Sexual tension and smut
✅️ Building of the reverse harem
✅ Strong and driven main character
✅ Stalker
✅ Good pace and entertaining
✅(🆗) Love interests (Archer still has some work to do)
🆗 Plot (what plot?)
🆗 Still some plot holes
🆗 Complete lack of parental or adult figure
❗️❗️Cliffhanger
❗️❗️Trigger warnings: character being drugged against their will, claustrophobia, stalker, controlling behavior

The plot is only worth 2 or 2.5 stars, but somehow I can’t seem to stop reading this series?

I mean, nothing really happened, but I am still most definitely going to read the next book for some reason…

"Since when did you guys start wearing concealed weapons for a night out on the town?" I asked, mostly not expecting an answer. I got one anyway. Of course.
"Since you started getting stabbed and choked and stalked every fucking time you step foot in public, Princess,"

Here is a condensed version of what happens in this book:

▶️MK is pissed at the guys
▶️MK still wants to have sex with them
▶️MK has sex with them
▶️MK realizes that they are still lying to her
▶️Archer pulls a controlling macho move
▶️Kody and Steele follow in Archer’s path
▶️MK is pissed at the guys
▶️MK still wants to have sex with them
▶️MK has sex with them
▶️MK realizes that they are still lying to her
▶️Archer pulls a controlling macho move
▶️Kody and Steele follow in Archer’s path
▶️MK is pissed at the guys
(repeat the previous steps again and again)
▶️Cliffhanger

You get the idea…

Overall, this book was entertaining and engaging, but I have to say that the plot does not progress that much. The stalker is still a big problem, and they seem to be escalating. The police and the guys are having no luck finding them, but I’ve seen Kodi, Steele, and Archer pull some pretty shady shit, and it’s hard to believe that they don’t have the mean to find the stalker. Relationship-wise, they are still all lusting after MK and she wants them too, Archer is still playing his game of hot and cold, and MK is still pissed at them half of the time for the secrets they are keeping from her, and she dry humps them the other half of the time, with a little study time and a few exams thrown here and there to remind us that they actually go to school.

Again, many details annoyed me, but at the same time I couldn’t stop reading this book, and I get a feeling that the next one will be the same. It’s not that good, but at that point, I don’t care, I just want to know what will happen between MK and the guys, and who the stalker is.

The pace is good, and there is action in this book as MK is, once again, being stalked by this mysterious person, while other people also try to kill her for some mysterious reason. Speaking about the murder attempts, why aren’t they trying harder to figure out who wants her dead? Who is paying for the hit on her head? Why? Again, they have limitless resources and don’t have to bother about the law so why can’t they find anything. The stalker and the person wanting MK dead better be fucking geniuses, otherwise, I will be really disappointed because I do not understand how they keep evading the guys unless the guys are not putting in that much effort to find out the stalker and potential killer’s identities.

There are fewer plot holes in this book, or at least, some of the plot holes from the first book are being addressed and explained, but it still bugs me that there is no adult figure around. Like, at all. MK’s dad came home for 2 days and left again for a world cruise, leaving her at the mercy of the 3 men living with her, once again. I know that technically, Archer, Steele, and Kody are all adults, but it still bugs me that the only parental figures in the book are conveniently absent since the beginning of the series. At that point, MK’s dad and Archer’s mom only purpose is to provide a scenario in which MK is forced to live with the three guys and then their job is done, they can disappear, until they are needed again to remind MK that she needs to behave and obey the guys, and then they leave again for the rest of the book.

"It's his story and his secrets, babe. I can't betray his trust before he's ready."
A small stab of disappointment shot through me, even though logically I understood where he was coming from. "Right. But it's okay to stomp all over mine." It came out more bitter than I'd intended, and Steele flinched like I'd hit him.

There is more smut in this book, and it’s spicier too, so at least there is that, but besides that, MK is pretty much at the same point she was when the book started. She wants to bone the guys, and she has some great sex with Kody and Steele, but she is still a little pissed at them because they are keeping secrets from her. Archer is playing hot and cold, and every time MK falls for it, and gets angry when he doesn’t want to go further and have sex with her.

So, overall, while I don’t have much positive to say about this book (or this series), I am addicted for some reason, and I am starting the third book right away. Hopefully the “plot” will be more developed and we will finally progress with this whole stalker and people trying to kill MK because I’m getting tired of waiting for them to actually do something about it and find answers. They somehow hold control over both gangs in the city, they are above the law and have unending resources, but they can’t find a stalker?! Come on!

That being said, I am jumping into book 3 now.

The duet narration of the audio is GREAT, but I hate that the male narrator talks slightly faster than the female narrator 😭 Anyway, this is a fantastic second book in this reverse harem series! And the steam is SO GOOD. I’m falling more in love with the boys and MK cracks me up.

“I want all kinds of things from you, Kate. Ask me again, and I'll fucking show you.”

i liked this more than the first book but the writing is still kinda corny. since im reading for the romance, i don’t have as many complaints cause Madison finally started to give in to the men which she should’ve done from the start cause she wasn’t fooling anyone with that forced “animosity” she had towards them. i loveeee Kody and Steele, that 3 way moment though 👀 ok girl, love that for you. Archer still has some work to put in before i can warm up to him but i must admit that the tension between him and Madison was so good. i am curious to know who’s the damn stalker that she has and the reveal at the end was TEA. Zane is so messy but i live for it honestly cause Archer’s too secretive for his own good. i basically read this in one sitting, popcorn read!

Why is this series so addicting?? I could not stop listening to this audiobook and I still love this story and these characters. I'm obsessed with all three guys and can't even begin to choose a favorite. I do wish we got some more answers in this book because we still literally know NOTHING until the very end, and even then nothing was even explained. Who are these three guys? Who is Madison Kate's stalker? WE DON'T KNOW. As book two in the series, I would have liked at least a little more answers. I do think the relationships developed really well in here and I enjoyed seeing another fight scene with Archer! Now I'm just dying to start book three...

Liar, Liar. Pants on fire.

Okayyyyy
Deep breaths in...
Slow breaths out.

This book was really better than the first, so I should probably change my first rating to 3 stars! 😂😂

The presentation of the first book is over, and this one is more involved into their dynamics, which worked better in my opinion. I needed to feel their connection.

I'm still trying to understand the concept of reverse Harem, since in my mind, it was something more clear and understandable, like an open relationship.

In the first half of the book, I got a feeling that MK was dating Steele, while sneaking kisses and flirting with Kody. The eye fuck/but I hate you with Archer doesn't count.
Honestly it was a little boring and with lots of Archer's drama and MK's tantrums.

The second half was more interesting, showing at least some equality between Steele and Kody, in their shared relationship with Madison (Archer is still a Duche and I'm honestly tired of his bullshit).
It was also more action packed and exactly what I wanted since the beginning! It was definitely worthy of my painful weekend.

The stalker is still a mystery although I have a loooot of suspicions!

I don't know if the author will read this review, but I highly recommend her to use a good editor to help her to cut the crap. There's lot of repetitive actions, phrases or sentences that makes the book longer but also really tiring.

I looooved the scene between Steele, MK and Kody!

I have to admit that her cliffhangers are amazing, and although I despise cliffhangers, I was waiting for it... so I'll continue with the series.

NO POWAŻNA TY JESEŚ??

3.75 ⭐️

This one was a very in the moment sort of enjoyable read… I flew through it because there was a lot of tension and banter and jealousy going around and I just ate it all up… but not much actually really happened until the last 10% of the story… the whole book was basicly just a ton of interactions between her and the guys and building up all of their relationships while they go in circles trying to find out who’s after Madison.

I definitely think it dragged a lot and I kept getting annoyed with all of the secrets the guys were keeping and how hot and cold Archer was being the whole time… but the last few pages of the book kind of saved the story for me because of what was revealed… I was very close to not having the urge to keep going once I finished this one, but then that tidbit of information reeled me back in… so onto book three I go.

On a side note though… I’m well aware that it’s coming, but I’m still waiting for the RH to kick in because at the moment it’s just Steele and Kody sharing Madison while Archer pines after her on the sidelines… and after that cliffhanger ending, I’m curious to see how this is all gonna play out… especially considering the fact that Archer seems pretty jealous and not too interested in sharing her with his friends.

I was hoodwinked!
I thought we were going to get multiple POVs but it was only for the first chapter then it was back to being narrated by Maddison Kate.

I had a really hard time pacing myself with this one. I was always wanting to listen to more!

It was interesting, intense and the chemistry between MK and her boys was still electric.

I really like how different Steel, Kody and Archer are. I love the consistent personality traits for these characters.

We received basically no useful information about but in the moment, you don’t really notice.
Either I am just too into these characters or the scary sh*t going on is enough to distract me.

Just like the last book, the ending had my mouth hanging open in shock. Why must Tate James do this to me? Can I not have a weekend of peace?
It’s so funny that I reacted so grandly to the ending of the first book. This one was way worse… or better??

The quality of Lucas Webley’s sound had definitely improved which I appreciated; however, there has been this consistent clicking noise in Brooke Daniels’ recordings that was significantly more annoying this time.

Another 3.5 stars, rounded up because I'm feeling generous.

I gave the last book 3.5 stars, and those don't sound like amazing ratings, but I actually had a lot of fun reading them. OTT, unrealistic, purely escapist fun. Here you go, a quick little roundup of my thoughts...

The Pros

✔️ Madison Kate is a very likeable heroine. She has her head screwed on right (most of the time, anyway) and her sass is endearing without coming off as forced. Reading this book, where MK actually possesses a heavy dose of common sense, has made me realise just how normalised dumb behaviour from heroines has become in some romantic subgenres. RH especially suffers from this. When I think back to all the bully romances I suffered through, I want to shudder at how brain-dead some of those characters acted. Now here we have Madison, whom I'm basically heaping praise on just for acting like such a normal person in comparison.

✔️ We actually see Madison do a LOT of studying for her exams, and I'm so pleased that the little filler details are being taken care of in this series. If you think back to James's other book Princess Ballot (something I try not to do so much) we had there a heroine who started university without us ever knowing her subject, and who apparently started it without even graduating high school. Here we know that Madison has psychology exams (THAT SHE PRIORITISES OVER HANGING OUT WITH HER BOYFRIENDS! GOOD FOR HER) and it makes a world of difference.

✔️ I really love the heroes, and her relationship progression with them all. Kody and Steele are some of the most refreshing RH heroes I've encountered in a while.

✔️ Some of the mildly cringy prose which set me off in the last book has been pruned from this one. I don't remember anything that made me want to roll my eyes. No 'buff blond gods' here!

Unfortunately, since this isn't a 5-star read, you know that the cons are coming now.

The Cons

❌ In my review for book one, I said that Madison was a little bit of an impotent heroine. I could sense all her anger and need for vengeance, but she was bad at getting secrets out of the heroes. This is even worse here. She KNOWS they have tons of things they're keeping from her, but she doesn't try especially hard to learn them. It knocked my respect for her a little, I won't lie.

❌ Her revenges are just so... juvenile. She's eighteen, not eight. Putting salt in toothpaste and tricking Kody into dying his hair pink sounds a little lame compared to 'we know important secrets about your life which we're not telling you.'

❌ The whole stalker thing is full of plot holes. At one point, she's attacked in a restaurant bathroom by a hooded/masked man - how did this man get past the heroes outside? Even worse, it's heavily implied that the heroes kill him. What kind of f*cking morons would do that? Now they'll never know where he came from, or what his motives were for trying to hurt Madison! I simply could not believe this level of crass stupidity.

❌ Reading the Burberry Prep series has left me hyper-sensitive to any mentions of the heroes' scents. In this one, Steele smells of (among other things) geraniums and lavender. The lavender is just odd. It's not as though it's a common fragrance for men's body wash. As for geraniums, they're apparently considered in many cases to have an 'offensive earthy' smell, and in general they're just something else people (especially guys in their mid-2os) don't tend to smell of.

Overall

Okay, I'm developing a weird pain in my back that tells me I've been typing too long, so I'm going to stop there. I'm very keen on the sequel, and I've enjoyed this series a lot, but I hope James gives us more of the good and less of the bad in the next installments.

This was bad. And not even in the “so bad but so fun” sense either. These characters were ridiculous with no development in sight, there’s still zero plot, like what was even happening in this book? And it was so boring. There’s nothing about this book that could keep me engaged.

Tate James does NOT disappoint. Liar answers the phenomenon of Hate by upping the ante- more drama, more mystery, more grit and danger, more sexiness, and more of these fantastic characters navigating this beguiling situation. Tate has delivered the PERFECT sequel- and I’m now beyond addicted to this series.

Hate, the aptly named first installment of this incredible series, explored the blinding, one-directional impact of our most visceral emotion. We saw Madison Kate’s world crumble around her, and we saw her rebuilding around one central aim- hurting those that hurt her, Tate exploring the ways in which the driving force of hate both fueled and hindered our heroine. And, after a jaw-dropping, bitch-slap of a cliffhanger, we finally have answers to what happened to MK.

Liar is a master class in how to appropriately pace and develop a series- delivering the right balance of plot action and character growth- giving us just enough answers to find our footing, and then setting us off balance yet again. While Book 1 created our world and explored MK’s hate, book 2 is all about the complexities and intricacies of these DELICIOUS relationships, and how meaningful and authentic they can be in the absence (or omission) of truth. Don’t worry- we still have gangs, stalkers, and danger- OH MY! But at the core of this sequel is the story of Madison Kate developing tentative, unique, and meaningful relationship dynamics with Steele, Kody, and Archer- the interweaving of these flawed, captivating, and addictive characters. And this, my friends, is beautifully done.

I love Tate James characters and this is some of her best character work to date. She’s always so refreshingly and radically unapologetic about who her characters are. They are imperfect, make mistakes, and hurt each other- but they have such soul, so many layers of emotional depth and compelling history- you feel like you know them so well, yet you also feel like you’re only scratching the surface. The book starts off with some much needed vulnerability, which sets the tone for the rest of the story. In Hate, we really learned about our characters from watching them dig in their heels, putting up walls, and in Liar, Tate smartly develops them by letting us see what happens when their veneers are cracked, when they start to give a little for each other- and for themselves- when walls start to crumble. You won't get all the answers, and not every character develops and opens up at the same pace, but the characters are never static. As we learn more, I fall deeper and deeper in love with these guys- they are SOULFUL; deep down they are vulnerable and chivalrous, charming and sexy. Tate has given them such dimension, so many layers to unpack. And,I felt even more drawn to MK -she’s stronger, more pragmatic and grounded, more mature and increasingly emotionally unguarded. Her journey here is cathartic and challenging.

Like I mentioned- Liar is about the evolution of these relationships more than anything else. Tate is such a versatile writer- and I loved how she built this aspect of the story primarily through small, quiet and intimate moments-juxtaposing them with the louder, brasher, gritty moments that progressed the bigger game afoot, a game we still don’t yet understand. But that’s intentional- MK can’t win the game without a team, so Liar cleverly prioritizes the exploration of MK’s individual relationships with each guy. Playing games, eating pizza, making coffee- each serves as a key brick in the foundation of this group. And, the relationships are even more interesting now because our characters KNOW each other- they’re starting to figure each other out. Tate really NAILS these interconnected relational arcs of MK and her boys- each progresses at its own pace, with unique challenges and milestones, each with its own idiosyncrasies. The RH situation isn’t solidified, always in flux, and I appreciate Tate giving it room to breathe- they can’t figure out who they are as a whole until they have solid footing as individuals. MK is still suffering from traumas from book 1, and now that she’s relinquished her blinding hate- she’s forced to confront truths she hasn't been able to see, including her interest and magnetic NEED for each of these men. Each relationship serves a different role to MK’s emotional needs as she navigates this insane world around her. Kody brings her light and joy- safety and comfort, he’s her advocate. Steele is her emotional anchor- he challenges her to open up, to stay grounded, to see more clearly. And Archer, ah, well Archer keeps her focused, angry, on her toes- and, whether she’s ready to accept it or not, I believe he’s her protector. Tate is really setting the bar for reverse harem relationships with this series- she’s carefully building the architecture of the individual relationships while laying the foundation for the whole. Each relationship feels dynamic, needed, complex. And the chemistry- it is breathtaking. Palpable and consuming- and specific to each relationship, which is really emotively impactful, and so engaging.

I’d also be remiss if I didn’t tell you this book is HOT. There are few people who write steamy scenes that hit me like Tate’s do. Yes, they are raunchy and yummy. But they are also somehow spiritual- they feel profoundly meaningful in the connection of our characters, and particularly in Liar when our characters often can’t, or won’t SAY, how they feel- they serve as these beautiful physical manifestations of each relationship. Tate has such reverence for these moments, and they serve as such key pillars of our character's relational identities.

Not surprisingly, we are left with another jaw-dropping cliffhanger that will radically change these characters moving forward- in ways I won’t even attempt to predict. At its conclusion, Liar gives us a beautiful character journey- an enthralling, edge of your seat exploration of the lies we tell and what is actually most dangerous- the lies we tell each other or the lies we tell ourselves. I NEED FAKE NOW!

This second book manages to ramp up the heat and the suspense as Madison is pulled further into the boy's world. There are some real secrets being kept and MK is getting used to being kept in the dark she doesn’t like it but what can she do she needs their protection to keep her safe from her stalker and whoever else has her in their sights.

Things hot up with both Kody and Steele here loved the threesome it was hot as all hell but Arch is still being a total ass. He and MK definitely rub each other up the wrong way with Archer at times seeming intentionally cruel with his ongoing venom and nasty comments.

Then there’s the stalker who is definitely upping his game leaving his little notes and dolls and pictures threatening the people MK cares about. There was a lot going on here there’s plenty of danger and perilous situations and the boys go completely OTT in their mission to keep MK safe going to extreme lengths that leave our girl feeling betrayed.

And yeah I still think Bree is a total bitch and she’s still definitely as shady as all fuck in her interactions so much so that even Archer has picked up on it. Oh, and can I just say Jace total dick as well I do hope he gets his comeuppance sometime in the near future. Then there’s that end game which was pure delicious opera and came straight out of left field I never saw that one coming I’m so excited to see where this one goes next as it’s most definitely unpredictable.

5⭐️

No one bother me I need 7-10 business days to process what the hell I just read.

I'm convinced Tate James put drugs in this series. Words cannot accurately describe how AMAZING this series is!!! This series is more thrilling than almost any thriller book I've ever read.

The characters, the plot, the angst, the tension, UGH I LOVE IT ALL! Every chapter never fails to surprise me with plot twists and hot, steamy scenes. It's everything you could want in a dark romance.

This series just gets better and better. I've never encouraged reading a series more than I am with this one. Tate James you absolute QUEEN!!

This series has quickly become an obsession and I'm not even sorry ☺️

How do these books have such high reviews?????
I’m honestly flabbergasted. I literally had to force myself to finish this. Madison Kate (that name alone annoyed me to no end) is so whiny and bratty I can’t even. All the dudes were acting like babies. It was just all around annoying.

One review for entire series
I read this 4 book series in a week. Was it jaw-dropping? No, but it was quite a fun read and entertaining. With many series, I get bored and will stop and come back to it. With this series, I just read them one after another.

MK and her friend Bree go out one night to watch a fight at a club. After the fight, a melee breaks out. When bree and MK get caught up, 3 guys help them out. Bree goes to get the car, and the guys tell MK to wait, and they're calling her a ride as Bree had to take off due to police. One of the guys put his sweatshirt on MK before they take off. Mk sees the car coming, and to her surprise, it's the police. The police find a key to the club where the melee broke out. She's arrested.
Since MK comes from a wealthy family, her dad is furious and sends her to her aunts in Cambodia. After a year, the charges are dropped, and she comes home.
Once home, MK is shocked to find the 3 guys who set her up to take the fall living in her dad's house only to find out that Archers mom is now engaged to her dad. MK is furious but vows to not let them win as she just needs to hang on a couple more years to get her inheritance from her mom's death. Mk quickly realizes there is a familiarity with these 3, and it seems that her dad answers to them. She can't figure out why. Just as she starts to ask questions, she quickly finds she had a stalker and someone is trying to kill her, and why do these 3 guys insist on keeping her safe? This series was hot. 🥵

Check your trigger warnings on this one as there's a lot of violence, adult content, and R

The whole story was in suspense with the stalker playing photographer taking pictures of Madison Kate having wild fun with the guys only to have an explosive ending. The ending is yet to reveal who the stalker is. The stalker surprised me of their actions towards Madison Kate when given the chance. The stalker's message throughout the story made me thought otherwise. But I'm glad of the turnout. This book ends with Madison Kate's secret revealed to her.

This second book has Madison Kate on house arrest. It's not too bad having three hot guys around. This book brought the fun to the next level with two guys..

Madison Kate's life is again in danger so the guys have to keep a close eye on her. They attend college classes, exercise, practice self defense.. the guys are gang related so there are activities with other gangs. The guys' life are media related also so they have that public image to keep. Not all guys are easy to get along with so I can't wait to see what's up with Archer next!

Thank you Bloom Books for the opportunity to read and review. I also listened to an audiobook via Libby App.

2022 review: fuck i love this series

2020 review: Hoooooly shitballs, are you serious?! 🤯

Liar has left me absolutely speechless with THAT FREAKING CLIFFHANGER!!!! Ughhh I’m so mad right now. August is so far away and I need to know NOW how MK plans on getting her revenge for this total shitstorm that’s been dumped on her. Homegirl cannot catch a break, that’s for sure.

I 100% recommend.
