Oh man, that ending! And what a story! I love these characters! It deserves a 5 star review but I'm feeling stingy these days 'bout giving 5 stars..Lol.

Safe, humor & sexy times! Loved Hero & heroine!!!! Can be read as standalone since I haven't read any of the previous ones, I didn't feel lost. Going back now to check the rest if this is authors style of writing for all, then I'm all in!

I hated the end

I thought the book was good until the end. I hated it.... sorry, I’ve loved the series. But I like happy endings...and I know it was just telling the future...but still...not sure I’ll want to read anymore of the series

I love Lexi Cocker! Her fiery red hair, her wild ways, her independent nature & her love for her family make her character amazing! When she literally falls into Gage, their causal fling turns into so much more!

Love her spark just love her. She needed a strong man like Gage. Amazing family and friends. Can't wait for the next instalment Cockers.

I've read and loved every book in this series. Lexi's story is not an exception. I enjoyed it, I couldn't wait to meet her man, and Gage was sexy, smart and has a heart of gold. He was a great match for Lexi. I even loved how they met. That may have been the best part of the story for me. However, I feel like there was something missing. I don't even know what it is, and I still really enjoyed the story, but I was expecting something amazing from Lexi's story and I didn't find it. I kept waiting for it to be there and now I feel like something was missing; I just can't put my finger on what it is. That being said, the story was fun, I felt like I was hanging out with my best friends and I loved the anticipation and hope for Lexi and Gage to make it work and be deliriously happy. And then they did, without even realizing it was happening.

I have read every book by Faleena Hopkins. And the Cocker books are my favorite. They have all been five stars and the characters never cease to amaze me. I was anxiously awaiting to read Lexi‘s book. I mean it would have to be one hell of a man to keep Lexi happy, and it was. Gage is everything Lexi needs and more. He fits her perfectly and accepts her the way she is, crazy, loud, and a real healthy ego. But there was no way it was gonna be anything but casual, until it wasn’t. Amazing book, but I was unhappy with the ending. It was the first time that I was not completely satisfied when I finished the book. Such a good book with an ending that I was not happy with. I understand the meaning of the way it ended but it doesn’t mean I had to like it.

Don’t Ever Call Her Alexis!!

Lexi and Gage are so perfect together! The way they met was priceless. I loved and laughed all the way through. There was one part that had me in tears. This is a treasure that is now added to my repeat reading list! I loved it so much that it has me wanting to re-read every one of the books, prior to this one, in the series! All 24!! I know what I’ll be doing for the next day or 2!! 😁😁
Y’all should check them out! Read one, 2, 10, or all in any order you want, but I recommend start with book one and read them in order through book 25!!

Lexi's story was so much fun to read. She has a fiery temperament I wish I had when it comes to handling bad situations. He's broody and draws you in for every fun, twist, and turn this story uses to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. I love how these books have started giving not just a hea but a glimpse far into their future so you aren't left wondering. Looking forward to hopefully Zoe's story next!

This is my honest opinion of this title.

Well what can I say, Faleena kept us waiting a while for a new cocker book and I was so excited to see Lexi was next, (If your new to the BBQ don't worry they are all standalone stories so jump right in).

In my opinion Faleena definitely has her fire back with this one, the writing was spot on and the characters came alive. This has made my top 3 cocker books and considering I have read every single one of the 25(ish) that takes some doing!

I think that ending just killed me a little bit. Wow what a great book. The story of Lexi and Gage is amazing. From how they met to how they finally admitted they were in love with each other to the end that had me in tears. It was just amazing. Each and every book in this series just gets that much better, you just never know what the book is going to hold. This one is one of my favorites and I can’t say this enough the ending had me in tears did not see that coming

In love with Lexi and Gage

I enjoyed Lexi and Gage's story immensely. I love the Cocker family. It is so nice and feels good to escape to thos family who is always welcoming and here for you. I was always intrigued by Lexi, I love her fiery and passionate spirit. The story was fast paced, and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series. I was not disappointed. I can't wait for the next cousin.

I really liked the book and the aspect that their live story had a longer time span. However, I would have loved there to be a bit more involvement by their immediate family (meet the parents, siblings etc.). And, the ending just killed all my happy ending feelings - I totally could have lived without that last paragraph. Why let readers experience that when it’s not relevant for this book? It is there a plan for a new book/series starring their kids?

Out of all the Cocker’s, Lexi is one of my favourites, I don’t know why but her soul just speaks to me.
Faleena has done it again, you wil instantly fall in love with Gage and Lexi.
I love how Faleena always find a way to connect the dots from previous books. If this is your first one that's fine too, but I promise you will want to read the whole series.

I loved Lexi and Gage from the beginning. The angsty part drive me insane though as it was obvious what had happened. I HATED the ending :’( and even the bonus scenes didn’t make up for that!

Breathtaking

OMG .......This book is everything I thought it was going to be ! The chemistry between Lexi and Gage is off the charts. I cried , I laughed and my heart broke, then I kept reading and it did all these multiple times , The ending had me crying for a good 15 minutes. I won't spoil the book I will just say ...What a way to end a book.
I didn't think that I would find another book of Faleena's that would replace Cocky Cop as my favourite and I was wrong . From a causal hook up to soul mates this book was worth every minute of reading . The only negative I have is that this book seemed to be shorter than the others or maybe I just read it faster . Either way another five star review from this avid fan and now the wait for Faleena's next epic book..🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Peace, Love and Happiness.

Disappointed

I have really enjoyed this series - didn't enjoy the last book May Cocker's as much as the others but understandable as set in a different era. So was disappointed that I didn't enjoy Lexi's story.

To me this book wasn't in Faleena's usual writing style, I don't know if was because it was written and released chapter by chapter on the app but the story seemed disjointed and a bit all over the place. I spent a lot of time but knowing what was going on and frowning in frustration. I was able to keep on reading to finish the book and it flowed a bit better as the story went on.

Still looking forward to Faleena's next release and hoping this book was just a blip.

The redhead lets loose

This is my 25th book by Faleena and again I’m not disappointed. I knew Lexi’s book would be full of fire, angst and nosy family, and I loved every minute of it! I know it must be hard when the characters are basically writing their own story, but I missed a little more interaction between Lexi and her parents. However, that is of little consequence as these books always make me feel good. After reading I find myself thinking of different characters and their lives, kind of like returning from a visit home and not being able to get family out of your mind. I miss them when I don’t have them, enjoy the heck out of them with every new book, and think a bout the stories long after I’ve finished reading. Faleena is the Queen!!

Amazing! Oh how I’ve missed getting lost between the pages of Faleenas’ Cocker family books.
I have to say Lexi wasn’t a character I’d given a lot of particular thought to and had no burning desire to read her story but I dove in straight away and was immediately swept away. The book flowed so well and each page I turned was like a warm hug. From the minute Gage was introduced I knew I liked him. He loved Lexis fire and heart and was the perfect fit for her, all her family gave their seal of approval, even before Lexi realised her true feelings. Even Grams can recognise a hunk when she sees one!

There’s not many Cocker cousin stories left and I can’t wait to see who’s next.

Each one is new and unique, with all the snark, LOL, sexy, sweet moments that you could want and always guaranteed to hit you in “the feels” at some point. In this one we get the love story of Gage Holbrook and Lexi Cocker. This book is my new favorite. Shhhh. Don’t tell the others... they will be jealous.

Best story of the series!

Lexi and Gage are a delight together. I like the fact that she was so independent and could hold her own like the guys. She was like a guy in a female version. She lived her life without any apologies. Have was a pleasant surprise. He's so sweet and loving, with a soft heart. Their lives scenes were hot. I love when she took him to her families annual BBQ. And great-grandmother was a riot, with installing Gage a "Hunk. I love their banter. I love them together as couple.

Love this series

I really love this series and this book did not disappoint. Lexi and Gage are great together. I liked that it was a relationship developed over time versus insta love.
I had to take away one star for the very, very end....and if you read the book, you’ll know why. How am I supposed to get that out of my head now???? How???

Loved it

I've loved the Cocker series from the beginning. I enjoyed the relationship between Gage and Lexi. I like that they both had to work through their own demons to realize that they loved each other. Love Nan at the BBQ. She always makes things fun. Loved the ending and that they went together. Awesome book!

My favorite all time series. I don’t remember when I stumbled across the Cockers. But I was hooked from the first Cocker book. I so recommend this series. Lexi is smart and relatable. Gage is the all American good guy. Excellent chemistry between them. Great character development and witty writing. 💯

Ahhhmazing quick read

I always love reading about the Cocker family. I laughed out loud and shed some tears, the perfect mix for any romance novel.

Lexi is as fiery as her red hair and her “hunk” is the perfect man for her. I love love love this series. The ending is not the norm but oh so bittersweet. Faleena never disappoints.
