This is the second book in the Dark Falcons series from Em Petrova. You could definitely read it as a stand-alone. I personally suggest you go back and read the first one, which will explain to you how the motorcycle club got its name add a bunch of other cool things about the group and the town. As I said, you can definitely jump into this one and enjoy it a lot … if you read any books by this author before, you already know that she never disappoints!

Rob … known to everybody as Tank .. Is the quintessential good guy. He is hard-working, good-natured, loyal to his friends. But he is having a long spell of rotten luck. The worst of everything is that the girl he loves has firmly kept him in the dreaded friend zone. Catarina is a wonderful young woman caught in an on-again off-again relationship that is increasingly toxic. When she finally figures it out, and sees Tank with clear eyes, they both find out just how bad her boyfriend really was.

The storyline and characters in this book are very good. I would have liked to have a better understanding of why she stayed in the bad relationship so long, and why she had put Tank so decidedly in the friend-zone. It was a great relief to see them get their much-deserved HEA. I am already looking forward to the next book in the Dark Falcons series.

"Tank" is the 2nd book in author Em Petrova's Dark Falcons MC series. On the one side Tank is as tough as they come. Tall and broad shouldered, he is ever ready to fight for what is right and just... but inside his heart is that of a complete softy. Nothing moves his heart more than his best friend Catarina. Watching her return time and time again to a man who Is both controlling and accuses her of stepping out on him and then putting her back together each time breaks Tank's heart. Finally there is a break in Catarina's relationship with her deadbeat ex, Chad. Will Tank finally take a chance and disclose his true feelings to Catarina? Or will he remain quiet and lose what could be his last opportunity to win the girl and find true happiness?

This book has well developed, likable characters that the reader can't help but pull for; dynamic sexual chemistry; and a little suspense added to the plot for a dash of good measure. Overall, an excellent, entertaining read! My only critique would be that I would have loved the suspenseful element that was added around 75% of the way in the story to be expanded on and carried out longer in the book. I love a good "who dunnit?" storyline. This recommendation is just from my personal preference and in no way would lower my rating. It's a wonderful book as is. A definite one click buy!

Is Tank doomed to the friend zone, or can he be so much more?

Tank is the second book in the Dark Falcons series. Tank has known that Catarina is the only one for him, but she has continued to friend zone him. When he has a motorcycle accident, will that help place their relationship into perspective, or once a friend, always a friend?

I really enjoyed escaping into this romance! Being an MC novel, there’s not too much in regards to the nitty and gritty aspects, but instead, Ms. Petrova focuses on the brotherhood, having each other’s backs, and showing his woman how she’s the queen of his world. I loved Tank and Catarina! I loved his persistence and her heart. They had such amazing chemistry, but it’s scary to go from best friends to so much more. Catarina is bold with her job, but can be a creature of habit. I loved that once she opened her heart up to more, things just clicked into place for her. Tank is caring, protective, loves his MC, wants to help out, and can’t help but love Cat. I thought they made an amazing team, I thought their connection felt genuine, and just as much as I was captivated with this couple, the danger aspect of this book had me on the edge of my seat, too. I am loving where this series is going so far!

This is book two in the Dark Falcons MC series. It’s Tank and Catarina’s story. It is a fast paced hot and steamy book with some action. I really enjoyed seeing Tank find love. He is one of the founding members of the Dark Falcon MC. They formed to help people in town. They will kick butt and fight for the underdog but if you do anything illegal you will be banished from the club.

Tank is having a string of bad luck. He wrecked his bike, got laid off and the woman he loves keeps going back to her ex-boyfriend over and over again and calling Tank her best friend putting him firmly in the friend zone. Catarina and Tank are best friends and every time she breaks up with Chad, her boyfriend, she runs to Tank to cry on his shoulder. After a while she runs back to Chad. Well Tank has had enough, and he thinks he’s ready to tell her to find a new should to cry on but she shows up and finally he takes a chance and kisses her instead of telling her to leave. Is this their chance or will Chad get in the way again?

I am not a big MC fan, but I enjoyed this book as well as the first book in the series.

I liked Tank because he waa not just part of the MC, but he was dissatisfied with how his life was going. He held a full commitment to his brothers in the Dark Falcon, but he wanted something more. Catarina was part of that something more.

I felt for Catarina. I wondered if she stuck with Chad because she felt she didn't deserve better, or she feared there was nothing better out there?

I know this was a novella, but the Chad situation wrapped up entirely too fast for me. I would have liked to have seen more of the interactions that occurred after the garage incident. Also, based on Chad's behavior, I thought Catarina would have had more of a problem with him!

This is a fast paced friends to lovers romance with a twist here and there that has an HEA, and A teaser for the next book in the series.

Friends to lovers…

The Dark Falcons are back! Tank was frustrated, being friend-zoned for too long. He was holding out for Catarina to finally ‘get it’ though and he was going to wait her out. Catriona’s on and off again boyfriend wasn’t good for her and he knew just the guy who was. Catriona knew Tank was always there for her. A sympathetic ear, a shoulder to cry and lean on. She didn’t realize how much she was hurting him until one day…

This novella was short on pages but had steam to spare as their relationship moved suddenly from friends to lovers. I liked both of them as life handed them lemons and they went with it, as we all do. Tank was a great male lead – handsome, strong yet understanding and unexpectedly sweet. Catriona was all about non-drama, yo-yo boyfriend aside, but that uncertainly just made her even more human…

Before I knew it, their story was done but there are many more MC brothers who need their HEA – thank goodness!

Can he get out of the friend-zone without ruining their relationship

Tank is the second book in the Dark Falcons MC series and is the story of Rob "Tank" Parker and Catarina. Tank is the VP of the MC and has been friends with Catarina for years. He wants to be more but as she has "friend-zoned" him he hides his desires. Catarina has a on-again/off-again relationship with Chad, who is a real azz. It is not a good or healthy relationship and each time they break up she runs to Tank for support and solace. What she does not realize is that Tank is the one who will treat her like the queen she is. When Tank finally takes a chance and puts himself out there for her will she finally realize just what love can be?

This is a nicely written book with a good story-line and characters. There were a few times where I sort of rolled my eyes and wanted to hurry the story along a bit but it is a fast read so I just took the journey that Em Petrova wanted to take the reader on. This is a lite MC series which so far has been enjoyable.

I would love to read more about Tank!

I adore Tank. He is this big guy who may look a little tough but to the people that matter to him, he is a very loyal softy. I loved reading about him trying to protect himself from Catarina. His feelings ran deep and every time she called them "friends" it cuts a little deeper.

Catarina is a woman who isn't looking at what's right in front of her. We didn't get much of the backstory on her and why she keeps going back to her ex but he just seemed like bad news. However, every time she got mad and hurt by him she ran to Tank, ignoring the possibility of more with him.

I really liked this book but I really enjoyed it more when Catarina started to realize who Tank was and how far he woudl go for her. It was like the fog had been lifted and she was seeing him for the first time.

Superb
The second in the Dark Falcons books, this is Tank’s story. If you’ve read the first book, Dixon, you’ll recognize Tank, but that book’s not essential to reading and enjoying this one. The Dark Falcons are now more established, and they’re looking at a clubhouse since they’re outgrowing Fiona’s bar. Parts of this book really broke my heart for Tank – the accident, being laid off – and Catarina’s friend-zoning him. It’s when she sees him as more than a friend that her life – and Tank’s – starts to improve. I love Em Petrova’s books, and this one doesn’t disappoint. Her characters completely come to life, and her storylines catch you and won’t let go. And the teaser for the next book – yes please!

The second book in Em Petrova’s Dark Falcons has definitely let readers know that this will be an addictive series with a cast of intriguing and troubled characters, who each play a significant role within this band of misfits, who are plagued by demons, yet loyal to a fault.

Tank’s story is fraught with conflict, drama and a whole lot of bad luck. It’s an emotionally charged story that highlights the misconceptions of two people when categorising their relationship, and the dangers that come from innocent rejection.

I loved everything about this book; the storyline, the pace of events, the dialogue and character development all came together perfectly to tell a gripping and romantic story that only left me wanting more. I can’t wait for the next in this series and all that will follow.

This adds more goodness to the Dark Falcon series and all the MCs who want to change the imagery of a biker club. These guys are building more and more to a club to be proud of, and an unbreakable brotherhood bond that gets tested.
Tank, VPMC, aka Rob, has pretty much tanked out figuratively and literally. To top it all off he's been in love with Catarina for ever but relegated to the wretched friend zone.
Catarina has finally had an epiphany or one too many times of being let down before she realizes what true love is and he's been staring her right in the face this whole time. Oh, that hot scorching lip lock might have helped too, lol.
Loved the friends to lovers trope, storyline was great with reality, feels, and action, both under and out of the covers. Some, however can't see it that way, and want revenge.
A journey I fell into and did not want to leave.

He is struggling with direction, depression and is in love with his best friend Catarina who sees him as strickly a friend. Struggles for both Tank and Catarina diminish as each looks at their lives, their wants and goals. Tanks opportunity to have a purpose in creating the MC motorcycle business and Catalina's realization that her best friend could be so much more. Happily ever after?..... there is plenty of danger before these two can totally move forward. Seeing an MC like Dark Falcons that is supportive of each other and their community makes this a feel good read.
This is a great series, can't wait for more Dark Falcons stories!

This is steamy, suspenseful and romantic. Until recently, Catarina and Tank were just friends, but recently Tank has felt more than friendship, he's fallen in love with Cat. Cat has an on again, off again boyfriend, one that she cries on Tank's shoulders about. Tank is frustrated because the boyfriend, Chad, treats her like crap, and is controlling, and she pits up with it. She does finally start questioning what she's doing after a couple of events shake her up. Chad blames Tank for Cat breaking things off with him, and he's looking to cause trouble. Tank is a tough, muscular man who has a soft heart. Cat is a stubborn and dedicated woman. I didn't read the first book in the series, yet still had no trouble following the storyline, there aren't a bunch of references to things you wouldn't know if you didn't read the first book. I can't wait to read the next one.

This is the second book in this series and they should be read in order. Tank is a spot. He has friend, Catarina. She is on and off again with this horrible guy. Every time they have a fight she runs to Tank for support. Which is fine but Tank wants more than to be just friends. Catarina thinks she is finally done with her boyfriend. Nothing changes so why keep going through this cycle. Tank crashes his bike and losses his job with just a few days. Now he needs to find something to do with himself. He decides he is done with being Catarina’s friend like he has been in the past. The guys give him gruff and tell him to go for her if that’s is what he wants. To show her what he wants and how much she means to him. Will he be able to? What will Catarina’s ex do? This was another great read. I am loving the characters so much. I can’t wait to read about the next guy. Great job Em.

Terrific friends-to-lovers story!

Tank and Cat have a wonderful friendship, but he's ready to take it to the next level. Cat takes a bit longer to come around, but their chemistry is explosive once all the obstacles are out of the way.

There's a bit of drama from her can't-take-no-for-an-answer ex-boyfriend which livens things up and drives home just how this motorcycle club is determined to be different.

I loved the direction that Tank's career took, and it was very nice to see Dixon and Fiona again. There's just enough action of all kinds to keep the story intriguing, and a delightful HEA that also sets up the next book in the series.

These are the best kinds of biker romances, with strong characters and spicy romances. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Great story. The Dark Falcon MC club has a great storyline. It flowed from beginning to the end. There is plenty of excitement, danger, suspense, brotherhood, passion/lust and love. Rob, Tank, has been in love with Catarina for a long time but she keeps him at arms length as just friend material. He's tired of being just friends so the one time she comes to his house he decides to make a move. Cat was all for it. She had waisted so much time and energy on a loser and finally came to her senses that Tank was friend and lover. Loved the characters and the way everything lead up to the shift in their relationship. Can't wait to read the next story in this series. All he seems able to do is console her when they fight - which is often. This is a friends to lovers story with surprises, twists and turns. Very enjoyable read and I am looking forward to the rest of the stories about the rest of the club. It is intensely sexy and packs a raw punch. Sexy, frothy, fun! Catarina has a controlling ex-boyfriend and a true friend in Tank . Tank has always been in love with Catarina but was scared of losing her if he makes a move. After an accident with his motorcycle and losing his work, Tank makes his move. This is a story about two people finding something special while fighting for their love. A really enjoyable read.

With Tank and Catarina- there is no walking away this time- fate has brought them together and it feels so right. I loved the characters and their interactions made me feel like I was right there with them as their story evolved. This is the second book in the Dark Falcons series, it is a quick to read friends to lovers MC romance. Tank is committed to the MC and his brothers but when he crashes his bike and gets laid off from work this tough as nails guy flails. Not even his best friend and secret love can pull him from his funk until she realizes what she will lose if she doesn't give them a chance.

Well-written story, plenty of drama and intrigue. I really liked both Tank and Catarina. Entertaining way to spend a Sunday afternoon, I can't wait for Patriots story next.
