I read this for a class on the Middle Ages. It is mainly primary sources from the era. Some are more interesting that others. Reading about the battles was more interesting that reading about how many loaves of bread were baked at the manor house. If you are doing research into this time period, this would be a good book to read. If you are looking for something exciting to read try Lord of the Rings.
