Can You Love a Thug Like Me 2
Both Jaheem and Veronica had spent years giving their hearts to people who didn't deserve their love. Being burned by their exes was enough to have them cautious when it came to moving forward and exploring something new with each other. Veronica was hesitant, but ready for a chance at her own happily ever after. The only issue with that was her son's father, Calvin, refused to let it happen. No matter how far she ran or who tried to protect her, her ex proved time and time again that he'd stop at nothing to her and his son back. As adamant as Calvin was, his determination didn't stand a chance against Jaheem. When Jah promised to protect Veronica and her son with his life, he meant that. Unfortunately, the constant chaos being caused by outside forces was enough to make even the strongest buckle. Jaheem quickly found himself close to his breaking point, and that wasn't something that would fare well for anyone. As much as they wanted to shield their union from the outside world, Jaheem and Veronica knew that there would never be peace in their lives until they faced their adversaries head-on.

👎👎👎👎 I had to skip thru it🤦🏾♀️
I try to give the book two a second chance but could not. In real life after you being in an abusive relationship a woman gonna have something to protect yourself first of all and second of all the chapter where she stop at the townhouse with a sick kid don’t make sense you take your sick kid home knowing your man in jail and can’t help you and jah or his bother was not thug material both ex”s should have been dead🤦🏾♀️ while you know you got a crazy ex out don’t make sense same ass repetitive ass books.. don’t waste your time on this series that’s what the reviews should say✌🏽✌🏽 Mel G do better trash 🗑 ass writing skills

Oh gosh book two was sooo good!!! Jah is still bae. I loveeee his character. Veronica even came around and realized her worth and gained her independence. Now, everything was not peaches and cream—these two went through IT! Their bitter exes made my skin crawl! They both needed to go expeditiously!🤣unfortunately there was a few moments that made me sad but it just further proves that Jah and Veronica’s love could stand the test of time. I truly enjoyed this series and could not put it down. Very good read!!! ❤️

Man ooooh man these exes caused so much havoc it was inexplainable! We can point fingers regarding what went down with Veronica and her ex, but the situation ended up being so sad that you got to give her a pass due to what she experienced!
Jaheem is the maaan. He was there for his family and handled the threats expeditiously, even though the damages were done. He, his brother and mother have such a bond that they will go hell and back for each other.
The blended family was awesome and glad they got their HEA!

Great Read!!!
I’m sooooo glad that Jah and Veronica were able to pish through everything that was trying to break them. Calvin was certified crazy and I’m glad Jah handled him. And Tiffany got exactly what she deserved bc she was continuous drama. The storyline was great and I loved the characters. This was such a great read i could t put it down. Can’t wait to read more from this author!

Dope book
Straight dopeness. Love how they loved each other. They were really perfect for one another. Sad the baby had died. Tiffany got what she deserved, her hateful self. And I would of had Calvin alive for months torturing his axx. Like the beat down wasn’t enough pa. Yo I was over here dying laughing at takeem and Big D going back and forth.

Some typos, soooo yeah that continued into part 2. Jah and Veronica went through it. I just knew that the baby would've been saved but....no. I was sad for them both. I really wanted to see Tiff's end, cause she really got beside herself. Curiosity about that Reyes and Juan situation....

I hate that they went through so much to get to a place where they were both happy. I wish you wouldn't have lost the baby that was sad. Tiffany should have been got her ass handled.

This book was good and I love me some Jah. Calvin and Tiffany got exactly what they deserved. Jah and Veronica were perfect for each or and were just what the other one needed. I can’t wait to read Keem’s story.
