Well. This book was not terrifically well written, it was much more "basic" than I expected, and a lot of the material was quoted from books I'd already read. So no real surprises here. The one thing that really WAS impressive was all the lists of problems and difficulties, horror stories and statistics, all in one place, page after page of them. I've already been homeschooling for eight years +, but I'm doubly glad now. I'd definitely recommend this to someone dissatisfied with public schools and thinking of homeschooling.
