I have killed for my club and I will do it again. I will protect my brothers in The Devil's Disciples with everything I have. And then Kaylee came into my life. Our chemistry is off the chains but it is our dark pasts that could tear us apart. When our dark pasts come to light, will they rip us apart?
Even though the first book had some editing errors I decided to give this book a go as I wanted to find out what happened after the cliffhanger ending of the first book Hawk, and it wasn’t even mentioned. Continuity seems to be an issue with this series of books as the spelling of the FMC name also changed between the first and second book.
Spellings and continuity aside I didn’t gel with this story as much as the first one. I didn’t feel it read as smoothly and that the characters behaviours were believable. The FMC is strong (she’d have to be having been SA’d previously) so for her to just accept Capone’s crappy behaviour towards her after being together just doesn’t ring true.
The follow up book with Capone and Kaylee. Started good but found the end to end abruptly. The end need to be filled out from Capone in the hospital. Interested to see where series go.
This is a good read nice medium pace . It has great characters and a good hook . The series is worth a read each book is stand alone but with a hook into the next. But really read ten in order for the best understanding.
