Ryan O’Rourke here, pro hockey star for the Boston Brawlers and playboy extraordinaire. That’s right, I admit it. Hell, I own it, score with it and take it to the bank every day. MVP of the league, rich as sh*t and sought after — no plagued by woman constantly, I’m on top of the world. Right?
Not so much. Problem is, when you’re at the top there’s nowhere to go. And after a very short stint, it gets f*****g lonely because all your friends think you’re an a**hole.
The other problem is, when you fall for someone real, someone who knows who you were before you got to the top, you have a hell of a time convincing her you’re still the same person you used to be. I swear I still am — somewhere underneath the cocky b*****d.
Chelsea Wilde here, gossip queen for BeanTown Sports Broadcasting. Boston can be a tough town for professional athletes, filled with gossip and whispers, I hear it all and more importantly tell it all. About Ryan O'Rourke, the favorite son of BC hockey gone pro, we hear he has all those women, he has all that money. And our favorite is, he has that gigantic… Well, there's some gossip we just can't repeat.
I really need to find a new job. Being a sleazy gossip is crushing my soul after only one month. It’s not what I envisioned for myself when I went into broadcasting. I swear I’m not that nosey big mouth girl. Especially not when the gossip is all about my best friend's big brother. The one I had a massive crush on all my life. The one I spent that memorable night with four years ago… But it was only one night. He thought he was too old and too cool. Too full of himself. I'm better off without the jerk. Right? And yet…
That was then. And this is now… And I'm about to walk down the aisle with my old crush — the home town sports hero I've been gossiping about professionally for the past month. Awkward. Because I'm maid of honor at my best friend's wedding and he's the best man. Everything is fine. The past is past, a job’s a job. I have everything under control... Not.
He Has It All is a sister's best friend enemies-to-lovers second chance hockey romance. This full-length novel can be read as a stand-alone. If you love sizzling sports romance, hot hockey players and those stories about finally winning over that long-time crush, then you'll enjoy this one!
Chelsea and Ryan grew up next to each other. Because of the closeness between the families, they were like brother and sister before the crushes on each other grew. This is a light, low drama sport, a new adult romance. The hero is a reformed womanizer, and the heroine is his sister's best friend. It can easily be read as a standalone. I couldn't connect to the characters.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
I couldn't get enough of Ryan & Chelsea's book. Good characters. This was an exciting & entertaining read. Loved it. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Cute friends to lovers romance! I have to say, I love sports romance and I adore best friend's sister stories too so I was excited to read this. Ryan is the sports star playboy, sleeping with a different woman every night and maintaining a bad boy persona. Chelsea was known as the 'Wilde child' but is still harboring a crush on her best friend's older brother, even though he insists he sees her as a little sister.
Chelsea and Ryan had good chemistry and they were drawn to each other, but things kept getting in the way. I liked seeing Ryan decide to change and be a better man and Chelsea grow up and pick a path for her future. They brought out the best in each other and made such a cute couple.
This is fun, light hearted, and a sweet story.

He Has It All is pure romance gold. All the steam. All the swoon. All the feels. And best of all the hockey romance. This is a book any romance reader would enjoy! Especially sports ones. Stephanie Queen brings a swoon-worthy romance, complete with a captivating cast of characters. This little gem of a story will keep you reading well into the night. The characters were great. They were well developed and I loved their story. It was super sexy, romantic and one of the best second chance stories I’ve read in 2020. So curl up in your favourite reading spot, with a nice cold drink, some food (as you are not going to want to more till the very end) and be entranced by this fantastic second chance story. Happy reading everyone!
Chelsea Wilde and Ryan O’ Rourke have been neighbors all their lives and Chelsea is best friend with Ryan’s sister, Maggie. Although Ryan has always been attracted to her, she was the off-limits girl, especially after Chelsea’s brother Jason died and he took over as his older brother. One day after a party, Chelsea tries to seduce Ryan but he rejects her and for years this rejection has pained in Chelsea. 4 years later she is a gossip columnist and Ryan is the favorite character as he is a true womanizer.Maggie’s wedding arrives and although they try to avoid it, they end up spending the night together, although this time it is Chelsea who wants nothing more. Endless situations make these characters move away and get closer, months go by until the 2 are finally on the same page and start dating. A funny, entertaining and romantic story that will ale you read it at once.
“And I’ve compounded my fuck-up from four years ago and made it so much fucking worse now, no matter how much Chelsea says she’s cool with a one-night stand. I know she’s full of fucking shit. Her words reverberate in my head. What makes you think I’m interested in the likes of you? As if I’m the scum of the earth. But then, I am. I proved it when I took her to bed and fucked her silly last night. I even contemplated not using a condom—that’s how fucking low I am. But this is Chelsea the Wilde child and I’ve never had control over her. Maybe that’s why I . . . what? Like her? Adore her? Fucking want her so bad I dream about her, will continue to dream about her after last night, for a very, very long time. How the hell can I have something with her? What will make her take a chance on me and what the fuck makes me think I can handle a relationship with anyone, let alone Chelsea Wilde, the most dangerous woman in the world to me?”
This book is fantastic! The story of Ryan and Chelsea is full of love, loss and a bit of drama and is well worth reading! Ryan and Chelsea grew up together as she is his sister Maggie’s best friend and he was best friends with her brother, Jason. Ryan promises Jason that if something should happen, Ryan will step in to take care of Chelsea like a brother would. Only his feelings for her are less than brotherly. Meeting up for Maggie’s wedding, Ryan promises to keep his hands off Chelsea, only he can’t and eventually he stops trying. A wonderful night together has him thinking he wants more but she won’t let him. An issue will arise when the wife of Ryan’s friend and accountant will make an accusation against Ryan no one can believe. Everyone will band together to save Ryan, including Chelsea. The two finally agree to give a relationship a try when tragedy strikes, this time for Chelsea. Ryan will be her rock during this tough time and in the end, the two will finally get their chance at a happy ending after many years of pining for each other.
I am volunteering my honest review for an ARC copy of this book.
I've read several of Ms. Queen's sports romances and I like this one the best so far.
Chelsea and Ryan lived next door to each other growing up. His sister is her best friend. Because of the closeness between the families, they were like brother and sister - until the developed crushes on each other.
Now they are all grown up and he's a star hockey player on the Boston Brawlers, with a history of womanizing. She is working as a Gossip Girl. They still have the crushes, but they've developed a hostility toward each other. He's best man for his sister and best friend's wedding and she is the maid of honor. They both have secrets in their lives.
This book develops the characters and shares their worries and their angst with the reader. I think this story focuses more on story line and character development than some of the previous books so that's why I enjoyed it more. There is detailed sex and some language so this isn't for young readers, but instead for a mature reader.
Ryan is a player for the Boston Brawlers and he is really happy with what he has achieved but when he goes to a party he sees Chelsea his sisters best friend and he can not take his eyes of her and she is so beautiful and needs to protect her from everyone there including his self. Chelsea has always had a crush on Ryan but he only see's her as his sister's best friend which is not what she wants at all. Omg this story takes you in right from the first page and you have to keep turning to see what will happen next. There are twists and turns along with loss, hope, betrayal, sadness, secrets and so many emotions and it was totally addictive and i can not wait to read the next book in this series. I definitly recommend that you read this book as it is so well written and worth reading. I Voluntarily reviewed an Arc copy of this book.
A fantastic read that kept me totally involved in all that was happening from beginning to end with unforgettable characters you feel like you know, drama, loss, sizzling romance and so much more. I knew once I started reading that I wouldn't be able to put the book down until I read the last word because I had to know what was going to happen. I loved the off-the-charts chemistry between pro hockey star Ryan O'Rourke and his sister's best friend Chelsea Wilde. If you enjoy sizzling romance with hot hockey players, don't miss "He Has It All". Ms. Queen never disappoints whatsoever and I can hardly wait for book three in her Boston Brawlers Hockey Romance series. I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review. I liked it so much, I purchased a copy to read again later.
This read fills in a lot of tropes, the sister's bestfriend, the girl/boy next door, hockey romance and friends to lovers. Chelsea and Ryan grew up neighbors, their families close so when her childhood crush on Ryan has a chance to become more Ryan steps out. Four years later Ryan now a successful hockey player is not ready for Chelsea not being his sister's BF. Even though the attraction is strong neither is sure about crossing that line pass friendship but when his sister's wedding has him best man to her maid of honor, well it's going to heat up. Ryan wants to be her white knight riding in to rescue Chelsea but she wants to save him as well. Fun entertaining read with funny situations, great banter, wonderful characters and deep feels...oh and plenty of heat!
This was such a sweet, growing up together love story of a big brother finally having an opportunity with the girl next door who happens to be his little sister best friend.
Chelsea Wilde has been head over heels for Ryan O’Rouke since she’s been younger, before she became a grown, beautiful woman. But he’s already broken her heart once and she’s still willing to take a chance at a broken heart again.
Ryan is an all-star hockey player with a playboy persona that is completely taken back at how much the Wilde Child has grown. It takes everything he has to fight the yearning desire for her, only to succumb at his sisters wedding.
This is a sweet, girl next door love story that will pull all of the strings in your heart and eyes.
This was an entertaining and enjoyable sports romance. Chelsea and Ryan were great characters and I loved their chemistry. They are neighbors and have known each other for a long time, and Chelsea is best friends with his sister - which means she is off-limits. It was fun watching them dance around their feelings and attraction to each other. There were a lot of fun and unique moments and the story pulled me right in and kept me engaged and smiling all the way through. The author did a nice job of bringing this story to life with her vivid descriptions and well-developed scenes. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading more by this author.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is my absolute favorite Stephanie Queen book! I could not put it down. Ryan, a pro hockey player, and Chelsea, a former Olympian and the “Gossip Girl” on a third rate TV show, grew up together. He is Chelsea’s best friend’s brother and was also Chelsea’s deceased brother’s best friend. They have a growing mutual attraction that causes them to gravitate to each other but their lives are intertwined and complicated which makes them try to pull away from each other. Their shared childhood, the feelings they have and the extent they go to deny those feelings causes misunderstandings and some sticky situations. Ryan and Chelsea are awesome together with incredible chemistry. I loved this book!
I enjoyed reading this book, Ryan and Chelsea have known each other since childhood, he promises her brother that he’ll look out for her, which means that he has to keep any feelings for her hidden. It’s only some years later when his sister, Maggie, is getting married that they meet up again. Chelsea has been to the Olympics but things didn’t turn out as she wanted, the reason for this is revealed towards the end. Their is an attraction between them that is undeniable, will they act on it or won’t they, that’s the question. Throw in some twists and turns and you have a good, intense novel.
I received an ARC from the author in return for a fair and honest review.
This is Stephanie Queen's book two in Boston Brawlers Hockey Romance series and I enjoyed this book. I loved Ryan, a pro hockey star fir the Boston Brawlers and a playboy, and Chelsea, is a gossip queen for the Bean Town Sports Broadcasting, I loved them both and watching them become a couple. This was a great book and is a sister's best friends to lovers insta love second chance fast paced hockey romance love story. It's a sport romance with plenty of hot alpha hockey players and a romance that kept me reading right to the end.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the first book in the Boston Brawler's series. These books are a hockey romance with a HEA ending. Each book can be read as a standalone. Chelsea's best friends older brother, Ryan has been the star of her fantasy's since she was a kid. Now she gets to report his sleezy ways for Gossip Girl show. Not her dream job but it pays the bills. Ryan is so tired of all the woman throwing themselves at him. He just wants to meet the girl next door type. Or maybe just his real life girl next door. Too bad his little sisters BFF is off limits. I'm really enjoying this series and can't wait for more.
Oh My Gosh! Stephanie has done it again!! Ryan and Chelsea captured me right away and I ended up staying up half the night because I could not put the book down‼️. Yes there are some explicit sex scenes but they do not detract from the plot line like happens in a lot of books by other authors. This story is a realistic look at life and love, it isn’t always pretty but it is powerful😀. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a review.
She always had a crush, he's never been ready to settle down. One wedding changes everything. Will he get it together before it's to late?
Loved seeing these two get their Happy Ever After. I loved the fact that despite what others said, she still saw another side of him even if her head told her it was false. I loved how protective he was despite the fact that he kept telling himself that he couldn't have her. Loved it!

Great story! Chelsea has always been in love with her bestfriends older brother/nextdoor neighbor Ryan, little did she know that he always had feelings for her also. But it took a lot of time and heartache before they they found their way back to each other.
A friend gave me this book since they know I like this author. It did not disappoint. Chelsea and Ryan are very realistic characters. This plot was fun and easy to follow. More sexy in a couple spots then I usually read but well done. This book was a story that you keep asking what next.
This book was so good! I barely put it down before I finished it. The characters, Chelsea and Ryan are the best. They go through so much from the beginning to the end and the book really pull you in and you feel with the characters.
This is an excellent read. So many feels with these characters. Excellent storyline. Love Ryan and Chelsea. So flawed but hot and sexy together. Can't wait for the next instalment of Boston Brawlers.
I really enjoyed reading this book about Ryan and Chelsea. Makes you wonder about all the guys and girls that lived next door, and had that same crush. Highly recommended to read. Cindy Bowers
I am sure that this is my first book by this author and I really did enjoy it. What I liked most of all was the low angst - and don’t get me wrong I do enjoy that in my romance books - but boy is it great every so often to read a book that doesn’t. Ryan is your typical high profile athlete - an absolute player. Then there is Chelsea who is literally the girl next door. Someone Ryan tries to insist is just like a little sister to him. This made for some great reading with all the back and forth. I would definitely read more from this author again. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book via Hidden Gems.
I literally read this book in 7 hours more or less (with only dinner/bath time as my break). This is how I know I’m a wee bit too invested in the book I’m reading. To be very honest, I kind of expected I’d read bits about Brady and Angela in here somewhere but it solely focused on Ryan and Chelsea which is also ok for me.
Not sure though if it was just a coincidence but both this book and the one before it had a ‘girl next door’ plot so I didn’t quite dig that part. Appreciate the steamy scenes but would’ve wanted less of it and more on character development. There were a lot of things happening at the same time which gave me a rollercoaster of feelings which is what I like when reading books.
I had to give myself more than a day to process the book since it had given me insane ~feels even if I can’t directly relate to the characters so all in all this was a great book. Can’t wait for the 3rd installment!❤️
Ryan is likable. Poor Chelsea. She can't seem to catch a break. It seems like Ryan is too good for her and breaks her heart. Her dad die, brother died in service of our country and mother is not coping well. Something happened at the Olympics when she played volleyball for team USA but she tries to forget. This sounds dismal but she's a fighter and a great friend.
Story is very involved. Ryan has celebrity problems so it's our Chelsea who is a helper. They slowly come to rely on each other Good story.
Ryan and Chelsea were made for each other, they may have their obstacles but the pull between them was strong, so wasn't their connection and chemistry, it was sexy. They were good together. I enjoyed this story.
I received a free ARC from Hidden Gems for a promise of an honest review.
It as cute. I expected a little more drama from Ryan with ladies man ways. Ryan said he would never settle down but his sister's best friend and their family's next door neighbor pushed her way into his life. Ryan and Chelsea were attracted to each other from many years but age difference and personal connections kept them from acting on their attraction. There was a chance encounter in college but it was until his sister's wedding weekend when they knew there was more to their relationship.
This was a cute romance, I love quite a few of Stephanie’s books so knew I’d like this one too! It dragged out a bit at the start but I’m really impatient so other people will probably like the slower build up. Apart from that it was all great, had a good storyline, cute characters and some great steamy parts that get you a bit excited too. It was a great romance with a HEA. I read this book as an ARC.
