Matthew Wallace is serving a life sentence for allegedly stealing $1.5 Billion, and to beat all, he didn’t do it. Stuck in federal prison with no hope of ever seeing the light of day again he begins to contemplate the inevitable, taking his own life. However, before he can, he receives a visit from a strange man asking him if he would like to get out of prison, the only stipulation being that he would have to give up his life as he knew it and do a job for the organization for which he works. One which the man in black guarantees him he would be well suited for, but for now he can’t be told any more of the details.
After accepting the offer Matthew is whisked from prison, and awakens to find that he got a whole lot more than he bargained for when he agreed to give up his old life. No longer Matthew Wallace, and now Jessica Patton, her mission is to help recover funds stolen from the clandestine organization that got her out of prison. To boot, she will also have the opportunity for some old-fashioned revenge against those who decided to frame her former self, as there’s nothing like a woman’s scorn.

I think this is one of this author's better books. It actually hit many emotional levels for me - humor, regret, revenge/anger, and acceptance.
This brings in a very minor character from another book, not even sure she was named in that book (Evil Villainess) but brings back the evil organization SCAT.
It is set close to where I live so I recognize some of the landmarks.
The story was pretty good with the secret agent stuff. Most of which could be something that could happen in real life. The only thing I didn’t understand was why they were in a Mexican prison as they us border patrol found the drugs so they should have been in a us prison. The story was written well and no mistakes that I found with spelling. I will def be checking out other books by this author. I think this is the second book Ive read by them.
I am not a big fan of "magical" transformations of cisgender men into cisgender women, but it's a popular way to keep the story short. In this story, the man is a prisoner is framed for a crime he didn't commit and is turned into a girl by a machine.
She the gets her revenge in a wonderfully delightful way and even finds love. A nice short story that was satisfying.
A great plot & ending, the book could have been a bit better by extending the revenge plot a bit more (i.e. stringing the perpetrators along more) Also smuggling coke into Mexico ummmmmm can't see it now OUT of Mexico that I get. Now guns, ammunition & explosives THAT would make more sense to me.
This would not let me comment after first reading.
I had to go back in and check it out again. It’s a great story and Really cool ending. I like stories where nobody is killed. Lucky seven sounds like a real sweat heart and number 14wascool as well.
