Thank you to Adesuwa O'man Nwokedi for the chance to read this book.

Jaiyeola is set to marry the man of her dreams (or is she?)... so why does she feel trapped? Why does everything her love of her life, Yomi, do tend to annoy her—including his eating choices?! 😂 Yomi isn’t the man of her dreams anymore. She’s young and isn’t about to lose her freedom for a ring and the title of a wife, so she drops Yomi like someone eating hot yam and begins the path to her free and youthful life 🙂.

Personally, I found Jaiye very, very superficial 😒. Once again: communication, guys! If she had opened up about how she felt about the wedding and everything to her Yomi, I’m sure he would have understood!

So when she finally got tired of her free and youthful life, and she eventually thought, let me settle down and have a family, she did a 360 and circled back to Yomi... as how, nah!! 😮‍💨 Omo, I couldn’t root for them 😒.

This book was so good.. I love everything about this book .. Jaiye made stupid decision at her early stages of her life but I was glad she came back to her senses😂😂😂.. this second chance romance is as so well written and detailed.. The character development , very fast paced, the choice of music ,the writing , the setting all made sense.. Yomi was such an intentional and sweet man .. every lady needs a man like him.. I highly recommend this book 👏👏

This may be my favorite Adesuwa book outside the Malomo series. My only complaint is it wasn’t longer.
