Damn! I went in not knowing if it was horror or erotica. I was pleasantly surprised that it was dark juicy horror! Well written and a perfect debut novel! I would recommend to anyone looking for a slow paced if faced paced reader. It leaves no stones or details unturned. Looking forward to see what’s in the future!

For me, the message this book gave was as follows :

Mentally ill people are dumb and should be preyed upon.

Which I, of course, do not agree with. The female lead in this story suffers from Schizophrenia (which has very little to do with anything other than being there) I can only believe that the authors thought it made her more deserving of the pain she goes through because it makes her "bad". This entire book could have been written without it, Crystal could easily have just been naive and trapped without making her mentally ill. As for the rest of the story well...there isn't any...it goes from the club to the penthouse to a French cafe to the penthouse again and back to the club and then the penthouse ( you get the idea) and the entire scene of the Cafe was completely unneeded as it offered absolutely nothing to the story other than making our female lead look more like a bitch to the customers.

There is no plot, there is very little character development other than "This chick is nuts so she is really dumb" and has extreme overuse of explicit cursing purely for the "WoW ThIS BoOk sO HaRdCoRE" appeal.

If you are looking into this title under the promise of horror erotica with an interesting and in depth plot then give it a miss, if you are after smut with a rushed ending then go for it.

The two stars I have awarded this story are purely for the writing as the people who wrote this clearly know how to write but their end result was pretty lacklustre in terms of a gripping and dark tale.

Eye opening

This is my first venture into this genre. I liked it and didn’t like it at precisely the same time.

Wow

Crystal answers an ad for a club called Collared Kitten. She catches the eye of Robert. That's all I'm giving away, just know this story will capture you and not let go until you're finished

Not my usual read and I admit it wouldn't make me rush out to read erotic fiction but that is my downfall not the book itself as I did find myself extremely intrigued and with a sense of something is not quite right...This is not just the underworld of sex and S&M. So I found it hard to stop reading.
Not going to delve too much because it will give away the intrigue.
The Collared Kitten is an exclusive adult club where Crystal a rather unhinged woman starts working. Loving the attention from her dancing, the young woman with attitude catches the eye of one of the patrons. Robert, the enigmatic, cold and rich character who makes Crystal his...

But at what cost?

There are some nitpicking that people who read a lot will pick out , spelling and grammar but more often than not it feels in the heat of the moment, sentences rushed here and there or missed whilst reading in the edits.
But a lot of books will have a few. Get passed that and enjoy or be tormented, or aroused if that is your kink, the ride whilst it lasts.
