The bar was full when she walked in. It was a Saturday.
Sandy saw him at the same moment that he saw her. It was the way he was dressed that made her notice him. He was wearing a light-blue long-sleeved button-down shirt, and even though he had the top three buttons opened, he still looked uncomfortable and out of place among the other men in the bar. Sandy was intrigued by him.
Their eyes met, and neither of them looked away.
It took him a short time to get to her side. She felt him slide in beside her.

Sandy and Ben. I loved it!
Sandy is a wedding planner and just finished a a wedding in Florida, and she decided to stay the night and relax before going home. She was at the bar and her eyes met with a man staring at her. They couldn't take their eyes of each other. So he went over to her and introduced himself as Ben a real estate executive there for a meeting. When they shook hands electricity want up her arm and that was an instant connection between them. They spent the rest of the night together agreeing that it would just be for that one night.
This was such a surprise for Sandy, having intimate relations with a man for just one night. But with the instant connection they had for each other, she just let herself go with it. And when Ben asked her to stay the night with him, she agreed.
The next day they both went their separate ways knowing that they would never see each other again, or so they thought.
This book was thoughtful, romantic and full of "What am I going to do now moments" . However, it ends with a sweet surprise for Ben and Sandy.
It's nice to know that somewhere in the world, there is somebody falling in love with someone under the strangest of circumstances, in the most beautiful of places. This book is written very well and I loved it. Kudos Valentina. Five stars for you.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Ben and Sandy. Sandy is an event planner who just finished a wedding and decided to stay in Miami for another night. Ben is in town for business and meets Sandy in a bar. They have an instant connection, but Sandy tells him it can only be one night because she is returning home the next day. They have an amazing night, and then part ways. Sandy was scared to get involved with another relationship because if a personal loss the year before. Sandy wishes things were different, but she knows she can't give her heart again, even if she can't forget Ben. This story was heartbreaking at times. Sandy had been through so much. I think she was scared to love again. Well done.

This was a sweet but short story. Sandy, a wedding planner evolving into and event planner, meets Ben, a real estate mogul, in Miami. She has just finished a destination wedding and decides to take an extra night in Miami to recuperate. Ben misses his flight because a meeting ran late. Their eyes meet at the hotel bar and he walks over, sits down and introduces himself. The attraction is strong so they agree on a one-time one-night affair. They go their separate ways the next day but this is where complications start. This is like a soft, cuddly tale that you might tell your friends or kids when you are older. I really liked it!

A hot, sexy one night stand turns to more. Sandy is a wedding planner and after a wedding in Miami, she's stays an extra night to relax. In the bar she meets Ben, a CEO of his own real estate corporation. They have one night of connection, and the best sex ever and then part ways. He goes back to New York and Sandy to Chicago. A few weeks later she finds she's pregnant. A few after that he shows up at her office wanting a lifetime with her. Ending was ok. I was hoping for a little more excitement between them.

Now who knew one night, fate would bring them their wildest dreams come true. Despite being the queen of short stories this author excels at them.

This story was a short and sweet romance. Ben and Sandy's connection started out as a one night stand but ended up being more. I really liked the way their relationship developed. If you're looking for a great short read, you won't be disappointed with this one.

This was a really cute quick read. Sandy is an event planner finishing up a wedding in Florida and decides to stay another day to relax. Ben is a real estate developer, his meeting ran longer than planned so he missed his flight. The met at a bar, one night stand and the rest is history. If you like instalove romance with a HEA, this is the book for you.
