During a game of truth, dare, kiss, or promise, Squidge vows to be honest and faithful to his girlfriend Lia, but when he gets the chance of a lifetime to work on a movie with teenage starlet Savannah, he finds himself torn between his dreams and his promise. Original.
This heartwarming story is my favorite of almost all of my books! Starstruck is the story of a young boy named Squidge that has girl problems. There's Suzanne, a star that fancies him, and then there's his girlfriend. How can he make both of them happy without breaking one of their hearts. He finds Suzanne at his new summer job, and she falls in love with him. As a wanna-be director, he thinks Suzanne is a great oppurtunity to get out of Cornwall, a small town in France. But he still loves Lia, his long time girlfriend? Who should he choose? Who is his true love? Who is his fair maiden in dazzling gowns? What do YOU think?
I like how it takes me approx. two hours to finish a book of this series, it's sweet and I'm mainly just reading the series because I feel I have to finish it. Somehow I'm shocked they have a different message in each book that quite important in life. Review of previous book in the series
In the plot of this book it's about staying true and don't avoid telling the truth to your boy/girlfriend because if you don't tell the "secret" right away, your boy/girlfriend might just hear the secret from another person and it's going to hurt even more.
This book was good. I love Cathy Hopkins and obviously it had the usual love and friendship issues. i thought it was unique this time how she wrote this through a male perspective. But that also is kind of strange because Squidge is very sweet so i think because she is a female she turned to adding her own thoughts into his personality. In the end i thought the book was entertaining and a good read.
I likes this story, Cathy has a good way of writing that makes an adorable read and very light hatred but full of drama and romance! I prefer the mates dates series but this series still has a good storyline and this book had a great story line and was great to read from a boys point of view. Was a nice easy read which would be great for the summer.
I love this book its amazingly awsome. Its about this boy who love's phototograpy and gets a job working for a famous movie. And the cool thing is,that this book is written by a boy talking not a girl. But everyone should read this because its even better then I explained.
I thought this book was good. I have been meaning to read it for years but never got round to it. I think I would have prefered it a few years ago. I did enjoy it though, however, in comparison to other books I have read recently it is not amazing but that's just my opinion :)
