Mike Chapple, Ph.D. is teaching professor of information technology, analytics, and operations at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business. Mike's past experience includes serving as Executive Vice President and CIO of the Brand Institute and as a cybersecurity researcher at the U.S. National Security Agency and U.S. Air Force.

This book is recommended because It engulfs all the prime elements of COMPTIA (SY0-601) I am at beginner level and this book had cleared confusion about Vulnerabilities Architecture. Furthermore, I have passed this exam with the content f this book. The book covers all the exam objective and it can work as review source because it contains detailed information and sources about each domain,
for security+ cert you would need other resources with it like the mock questions the author offers in a separate book would definitely make you better at understanding the subject.
