Anthony William was born with the unique ability to converse with a high-level spirit who provides him with extraordinarily accurate health information that’s often far ahead of its time. When Anthony was four years old, he shocked his family by announcing at the dinner table that his symptom-free grandmother had lung cancer. Medical testing soon confirmed the diagnosis.

For over 25 years, Anthony has devoted his life to helping people overcome and prevent illness—and discover the lives they were meant to live. What he does is several decades ahead of scientific discovery. His compassionate approach, which takes into account well-being on every level, not just physical health, has time and again given relief and results to those who seek him out.

I remember reading other books by people who claimed they could scan people and sense illness that even doctors and technology missed. It's hard to argue with facts when they are proven accurate. I am one who believes the problem is that science denies the spiritual while the spiritual often denies science- now if the two could just meet in the middle... I can't remember if it was Einstein of some other equally brilliant man that said something to that effect but I do know I never scoff at anything and try to be open minded. There is food for thought in this book about health and our mysterious illnesses. There are certainly many people who have first-hand experience of being told it's all in their head when the medical community can't figure out what's wrong. My own child has suffered for years with severe skin allergies, all the lotions and creams burned but 'no, it's just her imagination' only to find out recently she has an allergy to Propylene Glycol that is in everything they were treating her with. She is that rare percent and I mention this because we were looked at as crazy, the 'medicines' didn't fix the problem, just hid it doing more damage rather than finding out WHY this was always happening. Do I believe the medical community misses things and then blames the patient? Sure. But I also believe in the medical community, after all it was a very intelligent dermatologist that knew what was going on, it took us nearly 18 years to be taken seriously. With that said, when one is ill they are willing to try anything and I found this book to be interestingly informative reading. I am an advocate as well of trying to find natural home remedies, and have been lucky to have doctors that are becoming more interested in the same. It's no mystery that what we eat, put on our bodies, where we live (lifestyle, stress) all can effect our health. Is the virus mentioned in here possibly causing other illnesses- I don't know, but it's worth exploring. I know many of us can understand 'Okay, I have this sickness in me labeled, but WHY is it happening? Help me understand that?' It does often seem like we mask the symptoms while not getting to the cause. I found the information on Arthritis fascinating as well, possible causes.
Don't ever let any book replace your doctor, if you have a good one they too will have an open mind to alternative cures and if you find something that seems to speak as truth to you, share it with him/her. In fact, if you are going to start taking any alternative treatments you need to be monitored by doctors, they are not out to harm you. I am not embarrassed to admit I found turmeric paste (homemade) cured an inflammation I had and the doctor wanted to know what remedy I used. Years of stomach issues, I turned to fish oil of all things and some diet tweaks therefore reading suggestions about herbs and such aren't off putting or 'snake oil' cures to me. Some do work. People often forget drugs come from plants too.
I was reminded of Edgar Cayce while reading this, I have always been fascinated by him. I can enjoy science as much as new age literature. The word Medium is immediately going to close some minds, trap door thinking I call it. If you're open minded and interested in alternatives, this is perfect to add to your reading list. Again, I say research, ask questions, but this doesn't mean you scoff at the medical/scientific community. They are vital to our survival but it doesn't mean you can't research and bring things to the table(or clinic) when it comes to your own health.

I have read the book and it changed my life. I did not know Anthony William or anything about him before I read the book. This man is the real deal. He is a gifted and talented medium who can scan your body and find out what is wrong with you and give you clear information about what you can do to heal yourself. His information comes directly from Spirit. Unfortunately there are over ten thousand people who want readings and only one of him. That is why he decided to write a book.

I have been experiencing chronic pain for almost ten years in my left knee and right foot and most recently my right arm. Six months ago, I was also diagnosed with high blood sugar and told I have pre-diabetes. I tried everything I could think of to help the chronic pain and was on a special diet recommended by my doctor for the high blood sugar of meat, vegetables and limited carbs. It was not working. My high blood sugar was my biggest concern and why I read the book.

The first thing I liked about the book is Anthony explained clearly what was happening inside my body and why my blood sugar was so high. He also explained that my adrenals needed healing as well and why that was. No one else had taken the time to explain this to me. He lists specific supplements that would be helpful. On his website, he has recommended brands. These are brands where he has done the research for you to get the highest quality supplements possible. Not all supplements are the same. For example, there are different kinds of B 12 and I needed a specific kind of B 12 to help me heal. Anthony does not get a kick back for these recommendations. He has done the work for us on finding the right supplements. What a relief.

I started the 28 day cleanse the beginning of February. It was not easy eating only raw fruits and vegetables with occasional nuts and seeds for 28 days. However, Anthony has clear step-by-step instructions as well as suggestions about how to eat successfully. My blood sugar started going down almost immediately. I was near tears because I had tried for so many months and done everything the doctor said and it was not going down. I was so grateful. Also, I was surprised to find out that my pain was improving. After two weeks on the diet, I was able to take a half an hour walk with no pain. That was the first time for me in ten years.

I had already cut out flour, processed sugar and dairy about six months before I started the cleanse and lost 25 pounds. I lost 15 more pounds on the cleanse and am currently at the perfect weight for me according to my BMI. When I finished the cleanse, I tried eating meat or noodles or things not on the diet and I felt horrible. My body was giving me clear messages I needed to stay the course. It is now the beginning of April and I am still on a vegan diet eating mostly raw and some cooked vegetables. Is it my first choice? No. I miss all kinds of foods--cheese, cake, BBQ chicken, pizza, the list goes on and on. Am I completely healed? No. I don't know how long it will take, but I am definitely better and I am improving every day.

This book and what AW recommends is not for the faint of heart. You have to truly be committed to healing and do whatever it takes. In addition to the vegan diet, I am also working on getting all the chemicals and metals out of my life--pesticides, dry cleaning, microwave, non-organic food, weed killers, shampoos, skin care, make up, household cleaners,,,,it goes on and on. I had no idea. All of those chemicals that I was using on my yard, in my house and on my body were slowly and surely hurting me. It makes sense to me now. Knowledge is power. As I heal there have been some detox symptoms. For me it has mostly been all over body itching and I need to rest more. I am committed to doing this process for the long haul because it worth it for my health.

I am so grateful to Anthony and Spirit for writing this book. The knowledge I learned for the price of this book is more than anything I learned after doing research and spending thousands and thousands of dollars on practitioners, medicines and products the last ten years. Buy this book. You will be happy you did. I also suggest to join the Facebook support groups so you can have support on your journey. Healing is not about taking a pill and hoping things get better. If you are willing to make the commitment, then this book is for you.

I love his last two chapters about healing with help from the angels and and through meditations in nature. I have tried a few of the meditations and find them deeply satisfying. If you or someone you love is struggling with a health issue and are not getting the help you need from the medical establishment, this book is definitely worth your time.

February 2022 update :

I have changed my rating to 4 stars. After trying the 28 day vegan diet in the book, I decided to become a vegan. It helped in the beginning but then it didn’t. I took to heart all the things he said about certain foods being harmful to you such as eggs, corn, dairy, etc. Because of that I developed food sensitivities. I got to the point where I could barely eat anything without an allergic reaction and became scared of eating.

Thoughts are powerful and unfortunately this book led to food fear for me which has not been positive. I take responsibility for that. At the same time, I am thrilled now that I can eat anything I want to eat. I am retraining my brain to correct my negative thinking.

Words have power and when Anthony William discusses food negatively and says how foods can hurt you, that is powerful too. Also, the supplement business is a big money maker. I was taking too many supplements which I think also caused problems for my body. I take very few now.

I still give the book four stars. I think he explains some diseases clearly and has some good suggestions. But it is important to listen to your own body when it comes to healing and not take everything you read to heart.

While I found this book had some very interesting information and perspectives (especially that the soul is in the mind--very A Course in Miracles), it has quite limited application, in my opinion. The standard eat more vegetables and fruits and less protein and stay away from GMO, MSG, artificial sweeteners, soy, corn, pork and gluten seems preaching to most people in the choir who read any health books. And most disappointing are the long lists of healing herbs and supplements for each condition (18 under thyroid conditions, which I have) with no suggestions on dosage or which or how many of these to take at once, except his comment "listed in rough order of preference". Nor did I find the case stories especially inspiring. However, that said, I liked the chapters on menopause, angels, and the section on fruits getting a bad rap. And I will brew several of the toxic-cleaning tea recipes. Those were straight-forward and worth trying. It seems a bit of a stretch that the 60 varieties of Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) are the major cause of almost every current illness, misdiagnosed by the medical community; but then who am I to question Spirit--seriously, not facetiously.

I started reading this book with a very open mind. I've met medical intuitives and been very impressed with some of their skills. This book, however, throws up all sorts of red flags for me. Firstly, most of the information he presents as new has actually been floating around in the alternative health community for some time. There is also a significant lack of specificity with regards to the treatment plans. For someone in direct communication with the most powerful angel in existence, there is a surprising lack of information, such as dosages of herbal supplements, etc. Finally, William makes a few bold and ridiculous claims, which I think are meant to shock, but really only make him sound absurd. I'm sad. There is actually some information in this book that practitioners have been trying to get the medical community to take more seriously and I'm afraid that this type of material ends up making it all sound hokey when combined with this ambiguous nonsense. I'm not going to finish this book. I've skimmed the remaining portion and realize it is more of the same.

Third Edit: What I've learned about Anthony William in the time since I first heard of him makes my blood curdle. At least a few people have actually died from following his advice/his failure to warn that they had serious medical conditions (cancer in at least one instance). He has reacted with bitterness and complete denial of any fault on his part. How he has escaped prosecution for his egregious behavior and with lack of any medical training whatsoever, is a testament to how much damage the unregulated world of nutritional supplements and coaching are. Any of the more reliable or sage advice in his book can be found anywhere else on the internet; he didn't invent or discover any of it. And most of it is complete b.s. He should be in jail and the book should come with a big red flag painted across the cover.

Second Edit: I've now moved the edit to the top, so people don't get confused. I started off feeling more positive about the book, but after some time and thought I changed my mind. I'm no longer involved in any aspect of Mr. William's work, and though I believe he believes what he's saying/preaching, there are some big holes in the story which just don't sit well with me. If you're looking for clarity and/or a miracle, I doubt you'll find it here. Better to do some research on your own, or just tweak your diet/habits a bit at a time until you see some improvement of your symptoms. I'll give you my top 5 recommendations here (what helped me to completely recover from Lyme) completely for free and they'll probably help you as much as buying this book would - seriously! 1) monolaurin capsules - helped me about 80% recover, but it takes at least 6 months and they're not cheap. But monolaurin has been extensively researched and shown to be effective against many viruses and bacteria both. I used Ecological Formulas 600 mg 3/day until I got almost better, then starting cutting down. I'm on a maintanence dosage of 300 mg 1/day or every other day (and doing great); 2) cilantro (fresh coriander leaves) 1/4 cup a day or so - these dislodge heavy metals from your organs it seems (this has been tested elsewhere and seems to be true - Use drops if you don't like the taste (mask them in a smoothie). Now I only have some whenever I feel like it (which is often as I love cilantro); 3) lemon balm drops + 4) L-Lysine capsules - both proven anti-virals. Now I only use them when I'm under attack from a cold/flu virus; 5) St. John's Wort oil - it's miraculous stuff - rub it in all over your joints and major muscled groups for deep healing of sore joints and muscles; combine it with 6) FAR Infrared heat mat or sauna or hand held device for optimal deep healing of muscle tissue damage and inflammed joints. And last 7) singing/humming - this might sound strange but check into the Vagus Nerve connection to pain and inflammation and the need for vagus nerve toning and you'll maybe see why. Humming and singing naturally stimulate and tone the vagus nerve and relieve those horrible pains on the sides of the neck and over the collarbone/clavicle and when you really drop your voice down low and combine with strong and deep earth breathing you tone your solar plexus too (where the vagus nerve also runs)... I swear it made a huge difference. I did a few other things here and there, but that's really it. I've been recovered for a year and a half now and just rented a studio and became an entrepeneur offering my own creative classes in movement and visual art and writing. Don't lose hope, you can get healed, but don't put your faith in airy fairy salespeople either.

Edit: I actually would give the book only two stars (hopefully I can adjust my rating). After almost a year and reading of many other people's experiences, and having some run ins with overzealous followers of his, and more research I've decided he is a suspicious character. I have managed to heal myself from whatever it was that plagued me for 2 years, but not with much of his advice. And I'm worried about claims he makes like there's no such thing as Lyme; there most certainly IS because dogs get it all the time and I seriously doubt they are suffering from EBV or the chronic fatigue which seems to mainly afflict women. There is also a page somewhere on the internet with the story of a woman who consulted him for her son and he told her he had heavy metal detox and she did the detox on her son but he died. Now I'm not saying it was his fault, but you'd think someone with the kind of clairvoyancy he claims would have been able to give a dire warning in time. And by the way, what's with the claims that only one or two people are born in any given century who can do what he does?? If this is truly a gift from God, wouldn't it be given to more people and given freely? There are numerous other accounts by people of getting a consult with him and not being helped at all. (and to be fair, also a lot of people who say he did help, but most of them seem to be either celebrities, or people that can be traced to his personal network or circles somehow - and they are also the ones who are attacking anyone who gives less than a stellar review to his book or his work). So if you have read the book, select one or two little tidbits to try and see if they help you and ignore the rest. If you're contemplating still whether to buy it or not I'd say borrow it from someone, or get it from the library and just copy out the most relevant sections. I would be wary of believing that this is going to be the one thing that cures you.

It's also incomplete and quite vague in many places, especially in the food and supplements sections. No amounts are listed, as another reviewer noted, and many healing herbs and foods that I know of from my extensive research and experiences with natural healing are inexplicably left out (milk thistle for example, as a liver detox and support). The array of recommended supplements is quite dizzying/overwhelming and will cost a small fortune, and this for many people who have not been able to work for a long time or are on quite limited incomes.

His advice is to eat basically raw vegan, as much as possible. In theory I have no problem with this, except that my body just revolts at only raw food, especially in the Winter. He does say you can also adapt the diet suggestions, and eat cooked sweet potatoes, regular potatoes and even, if you are so inclined some brown rice or a piece of salmon. But if you really want to heal as quickly as possible, then his advice is to go raw and go completely vegan. I followed a modified version of the 28 Day Detox and I did end up feeling a bit better, but I've also had some major issues with gas, bloating & constipation, which I didn't have before starting the protocol. Lemon water followed by celery juice first thing in the morning was supposed to clear this magically up, but it didn't. So you have to be ready to make your own adaptations and follow your own intuition, which will be a challenge for many because they just don't have the extensive background necessary to make the kinds of choices or decisions of where to vary the protocol or when it might not be working well for them, or it will be completely overwhelmed.

On the FB Medical Medium members only page (private and supposedly only for those who bought the book but many people are posing questions there which are clearly covered in the book so I don't know how strict they are following the admittance guidelines) there are thousands of people seeking further clarification on other parts of the book and protocols which are not covered in-depth, but most of the questions are answered by a couple of assistants, and I find some of the answers to still be vague, and some of them are just plain wrong (raw spinach is always better than cooked for example).

All in all I'm quite wary of the validity and ethics involved with this individual and the people he consorts with. It's a pity really, because there is a bit of useful info buried inside all the b.s. I originally gave it 3 stars but would adjust it to 1 1/2 if I could.

***I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.***

Huge disappointment. I thought this book would be my answer to my mystery illness. I was terribly wrong.

First, his tone throughout the book is egotistical and judgmental, and my gut-feeling says he has jumped on the Christian bandwagon for sales/profit. *eye roll*

Secondly, much of what he says is contradictory. He speaks about keeping food out of plastics, due to its harmful nature (to which I agree and support) and then later advocates for drinking only bottled water. Ummmm. Water that's shipped in plastics? -_-

He doesn't address the consumption of alcohol or coffee at all.

Basically the book says to consume a lot of fruits, veggies, water, fresh juice, and to stay away from artificials, GMOs, etc. Well.... no shit. Any decent health book or Google search would offer the same advice.

He is promoting a vegan cleanse (mostly raw), and if I had realized it was a diet based book rather than an informative book, perhaps I wouldn't have purchased in the first place. He doesn't approach the idea that different bodies need different things. He basically promotes the idea that there is a one-size-fits-all diet, and that's simply ridiculous. (Vegan isn't the issue. I was vegan for many years. Until I started suffering severe brain fog, and added eggs and fish.)

There is a likelihood that I could list 10+ more things wrong with this book, but instead, I am returning it and getting my money back. Perhaps this book is better fit for a person that is not in tune with her body and needs some guidance? Someone who has never eaten mindfully, or doesn't exercise, then fine.

My advice? Don't waste your time and money on this one.

So let's get something straight from the beginning: the reason why the diet in this book works for SOME and only SOME listed diseases is not because the author discovered something new, it's because it has been working for decades before he came up with this 'book'. There is absolutely nothing spectacular about it that was not known before (actually it's the information that is missing is the worrying part and his unfounded opinions). If this is your first health book about curing with nutrition, I can understand how it can be eye opening for you. BUT. Being a seasoned reader and practitioner on the subject, having won my own battles with difficult disease, I call absolute and total bullshit on so many information/opinions in this book. It's disappointing, fake, irresponsible, offensive to the common sense; it doesn't provides information on how something interacts with another thing, without any warnings on foods, dosing, and it just bashes repeatedly, over and over again on the current medical system. I am not a fan of the medical system, but this here, is nearly a teenage angst, with nothing to back it up. If he indeed got his info from an 'angel', then that is one uninformed angel, the first of its kind.

Getting better from a difficult autoimmune diseases is a very long and painful journey (I should know, I have two of them), but it is nothing new; people have done it before and wrote extensive books about it. There are real success stories out there if you are looking to help yourself with one. Ask someone that has won the battle, not a guy that claims to know it all and that the body never attacks itself and denies the well proven fact and definition of an autoimmune disease. It's disrespectful to everyone out there that have such a problem. If you wish to learn more on nutrition or how to address a specific problem with nutrition, this is not the book that you should take your 'information' from. There are experts and survivors that have shared their stories with very specific instructions about the recovery process. I find it such a pity that the author is even compared with Edgar Cayce who contributed so much to the holistic healing with enormous accuracy (now his angel, that was one bad ass informed spirit), while this book is for the most part fiction; apparently we will confirm that he is right in 30-40 years (when we will all be dead?) No thank you. I'd rather throw this book in the garbage right now.
It is giving a disgustingly bad reputation to all the people, survivors and holistic practitioners alike, that are fighting to be heard by the medical authorities so that the holistic approach can be better accepted and included in the medical practice and this makes me so angry. It's books like this one that opens the door to mockery.

I absolutely do not recommend this book to ANYONE. There are way better sources on the subject without needing to venture into some 'mystery reason' why your body is sick.

This book is impossible to take seriously. An acquaintance suggested I read it, so I gave it a try. The author claims that a spirit known as . . . Spirit . . . talks directly into his right ear and then tells him what ails people. According to the author, when he talks to people, he instantly interrupts them to tell them about ailments he couldn't have known about otherwise, to much shock and awe. According to reviews of people who have had actual phone consults with him, he asks a lot of questions that should be obvious to someone getting their information directly from the heavens.

So what are the secrets, according to the author? Dozens of undiscovered strains of Epstein-Barr Virus. He presents his thesis about chronic fatigue syndrome as though it's a revolutionary break-through, when they've been studying EBV in relation to CFS for decades. So according to him, EBV and mercury poisoning cause 95% of our ills, but luckily the answer is diet and supplements. Since diet and supplements do help a lot of people with chronic illness, it's not hard to see why some people feel this works for them.

This is a very specific Spirit. It is very clear that only Anthony William has been chosen to have this gift during this century, so you must get your other-wordly diagnosis from him, or bust. I would imagine that if there was a single person gifted with extraordinary seeing powers, s/he would simply go around, helping people left and right, and allowing those people to pay him as much or as little as they were able. The person with this gift would probably not, say, charge $500 for a half hour phone consult during which he asks a lot of questions that the Spirit was too lazy to fill him in on and then diagnose them with the same two ailments.

I've got to say, though, that despite the completely unbelievable premise of the book straight out of Dr. Doolittle, it's easy to get drawn in, especially if you suffer from any poorly understood chronic illnesses. How we wish an answer were available directly from the heavens and available for purchase.

I cannot in any way recommend this book. You are much better off purchasing a book by a doctor who specializes in your ailment. For CFS, I recommend The Fatigue and Fibromyalgia Solution by Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum and Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome by Dr. Sarah Myhill.

A friend at my pool recommended Anthony William to me - she claims she has had tremendous success after reading his books. I suspect that she had a massive diet shift to raw vegan and while that will see some short term gains, I'm already vegan and daily eat a lot of the raw foods he recommends (including cilantro, avocados, etc).

I was intrigued by the number of illnesses he links to Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) and have plans to get bloodwork done to see if there are traces of EBV antibodies in my blood. Interestingly - he repeatedly mentions lupus, but of all the diseases he directly addresses in chapters in the book, he leaves out lupus. It's interesting also that most of the chronic illnesses he describes primarily affect women (Lupus, Fibromyalgia, PMS/Perimenopause).

The stories about his experiences talking with "Spirit" and with "Angels" just smacks of crowd-pleasing fiction. There are a LOT of people out there, mostly women from what I can see, who "believe" or want to believe in guardian angels, spirits and the like.

And - given that so many people are obese in this country - combined with irrational beliefs in so many things, I get the feeling that Anthony William really DOES care about people -- especially women of a certain age/socioeconomic strata -- especially when he says things such as:

"If you are ill or going through a trial like a divorce or a loss, you did not manifest it. You did not attract it. It is not punishment or payback. You do not deserve to be sick or unhappy. It is not your fault. You deserve to heal. You deserve to be happy. You deserve to feel whole."

Although he's filling up the book with all kinds of woo-woo new age stories about spirits and angels, I think that is his way of relating to the very large number of people (women) in this country who really do believe in that sort of thing.

He's also got sections in both books that I have read that are serious about debunking health fads -- like low carbs (high fat), fruit sugar is ok for you, apple cider vinegar is not a miracle food, etc. The other book he got into things such as using paper tape to determine the Ph balance of your body and described in detail why this isn't meaningful to most people.

His advice basically boils down to the following: eat lots more good leafy green veggies, don't be afraid of eating fruit, cut out all the processed crap, cut back on things that are hard on your body (dairy, eggs, fatty foods, gluten) and things that are mostly GMO (like corn).

He recommends a 28 day raw vegan diet as a cleanse with the basic guidelines of what foods to choose but not focusing on number of calories or amount of food -- this is right in line with most raw vegan diets (they say you can eat all you want - 45 bananas? go for it!).

I'll give this 3 stars because he's advocating some very good diet changes and trying to speak to a very specific audience. If these people will listen to this diet advice and change their lives for the better than this is a success. I think it is wise of him to NOT include overly specific recommendations - this is not really magic. It's cutting out the standard american diet and eating the good stuff.

SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS:

The special miracle veggies & fruits mentioned in this book are: Wild Blueberries, Celery, Sprouts, Asparagus, Spinach, Cilantro, Parsley, Coconut oil, Garlic, Gingseng, Raspberries, Lettuce, Papayas, Apricots, Pomegranates, Grapefruit, Kale, Sweet Potatoes, Cucumber, Fennel.

28 Day Cleanse: for 4 weeks

Upon awakening: "cleansing beverage. Celery juice, cucumber juice, lemon water, coconut water with Hawaiian spirulina, herbal tea, or barley grass juice extract powder reconstituted with water."

Mid-morning: Fruit smoothie (make another or make a big one at breakfast and bring the other half along with you for later).

Lunch: "salad with spinach, lettuce, and cucumbers as the base, then toss in the fruits of your choice." "Optional additions include chopped cabbage, celery, or cauliflower; arugula or baby kale; sprouts; and scallions."

Mid-afternoon: snack on any fruits of choice.

Dinner: he recommends a raw blended soup - some high powered blenders will warm up the soup a bit (his soup is 2 bunches of spinach, 3 tomatoes, juice of one orange, a stalk of celery, cilantro, garlic). You could probably do any combination of the recommended veggies/fruits as long as you stay away from the non-raw bad items.

Evening snack: apples and dates.

RTC

Right let’s start by saying I am open towards alternative medicine, I belief in God, and I am pretty open minded. With that in mind, I started reading Medical Medium with a keen interest as it had come highly recommended to me.
Pretty soon the tone of the author started getting on my nerves. Secrets only he knows! Stuff medical science hasn’t discovered yet!
When it came to the The EBV part, and everything relating back to that ( no scientific proof for this) I’d had it but carried on as you never know.
Anyone to cure Mystery Illnesses, depression, rheumatoid arthritis etc you take a LOT of supplement, dose not stated, and you follow a very strict diet, especially drink a lot of celery juice , again, apart from hydrating, never proven.
You then call on specific angels.
And all will be well.
Apparently this guy charges $500 for a 30 minute phone consult. And then tells you you’ve got EBV.
The placebo effect might be happening here for some people, but if you look at the book more carefully, want scientific proofs, studies etc, you won’t find anything.

Do not drink the (celery flavored) kool aid! I was reading this with an open mind until I got to the chapter about menopause and bone loss. The author claims that instead of the loss of estrogen associated with menopause causing bone mass losses, it is actually estrogen itself that causes the reduced bone density. His explanation is that over time this steroidal estrogen eats away at our bones but we only notice it during menopause and then assume it’s the menopause causing it. THIS ( and embarrassingly not in the first few pages when he tells us the voice in his head tells him everything we are about to read 🤦🏻‍♀️) is where I had no choice than to accept that he is a quack. I personally know this section of the book to be false because as a breast cancer patient when I was a pre-menopausal 29year old, I was put on a drug that puts me into a false menopause, temporarily stopping my ovaries from creating estrogen. After two years they check your bone density and my bone mass in those two years was significantly reduced without estrogen. This is directly opposite to his theory in the book, in fact according to him my body should have paused bone loss from this treatment. The same significant bone density losses happened to “cancer friends” of mine who were also young (in their 20s) undergoing the same treatment. Because I know this information is wrong, it’s hard for me to trust anything else in the book. I do believe healthy diet and mental health can aide in disease prevention but it is dangerous to give false advice to people based on a voice in your head. Science is real even if it may not have every answer yet.

Absolutely fascinating read. I particularly enjoyed the first part of the book, when the author explains how spirit works with him and how he gets the information about people. The rest of the book is interesting, although I did feel that every single issue related back to the EBV virus. The last part of the book advises how to have good health and that was beneficial too. A quick read, and good as a reference book.

I can't begin to say how much I adore Anthony. I had been anxiously awaiting this books arrival for quite some time. It totally delivered. Thank you Anthony. I have even more appreciation for you than I already did (if that's possible). Angels among us. :-)

Begins as a fascinating narrative about his extraordinary gift(?) as a medical medium and then slips into yet another how-to make autoimmune disease disappear by simply eliminating this food and this food and this food and this food and this food and this food and this food and this food. Oh, and stop touching things made with chemicals. That's all. Piece of cake.

Modern day snake oil salesman. This guy is a fraud and full of himself. Beware people. You don't need to read this book to find lists of healing foods, herbs and supplements. It's pretty much the same list you will find for free online anyway.

Despite the source of Mr. Medical Medium's information, everything he says in this book about wellness and disease makes a lot of sense. Having had two bouts of mono as a teenager and numerous "mystery illnesses" since then, I have been on a quest for information for the past 35 years regarding health and illness. Nothing this man has said has contradicted my own personal experience or anything that I've witnessed other people going through either. It also jibes with everything I learned from my naturopathic doctor, the only one who was able to help me recover from whatever was ailing me, mostly by altering my diet, recommending supplements and encouraging me to change my unhealthy lifestyle. The age-old concept of food as medicine, the obvious importance of having a strong immune system, the barrage of modern-day untested pollutants absorbed by our bodies added to the various viruses and bacteria that plague us, all add up to a clear picture of what we need to do in order to solve the mystery illnesses that modern-day medicine currently can't figure out and actually makes worse. My hope is that more people will have access to this type of information, take it on board, and change their lives for the better. I know I will.

This was recommended to me by a friend who has a chronic, undiagnosed medical condition. I have to admit it was hard for me to take this book completely seriously. The author gets all of his information from a spirit, who he calls Spirit, who speaks to him. Basically he tells us that most medical diagnoses and treatments of chronic conditions are wrong. He claims most can be cured via food and various natural supplements. He provides different supplements for different conditions but offers no guidance on recommended dosages or where to acquire the supplements.

I agree that healthy eating can cure many ailments. The author goes as far a recommending a raw food cleanse. I guess if you are dealing with a debilitating chronic condition (I am not) it is worth a try. I'd have more respect if he tried to interact with the medical community or undertook medical training in order to influence medicine from the inside (Spirit be an speaking to him at the age of 4).

While I think there is some interesting advice and perspectives, the book is a bit too "out-there" for my taste.

Healing must happen at a variety of levels to see good results: the physical level, the mental/emotional level, and the spiritual level. Anthony works on all of these levels incorporating what scientists know to be the most powerful tool in healing: the power of belief. Not only did his nutritional recommendations fall along what I have found to be true with years of research and personal experience, he supplements this physical knowledge with spiritual knowledge. The meaning and purpose he gives to fruits and vegetables are what many people need to create a more mindful approach to eating. Another thing he does is validate the faults in the medical system and validates the suffering of thousands of people who are trapped in a system that isn't working. He hears their pain and soothes their hearts. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the deep purpose it gives to those reading it.

I wish I could give this book 10 stars. Anyone who has a chronic illness such as chronic fatigue, MS, Epstein Barr, Lyme Disease, heavy metals, etc. need to read this. The author is not afraid of providing controversial information that is helpful and natural. He has healed tens of thousands of people and will continue to provide healing through this book by offering information that we can use to heal.

This book is the absolute embodiment of mental illness. Preys on the gullible, faith based community that would understand or recognize the difference between science and woo.

Too bad I have a conscience; I'd love to be able to exploit the idiots who buy into this stuff and take their money! Like shooting fish in a barrel, you can't miss with these people.

Interesting in some areas but mostly disappointing. I have had zero luck with any "alternative" medicine treatments and spent a lot of time and a lot of money to be able to say that with confidence.

I have followed Anthony Williams Facebook page called Medical Medium, for quite some time as I like to learn about the properties of good foods--fruits, vegetables, spices, and herbs. He is called an "intuitive" healer like Edgar Case in the early 1900s. A lot of what he has to say makes sense and follows mindful eating habits and the Word of Wisdom. I used his celery cleanse, for instance, and felt fabulous. He feels that the new so-called mystery illnesses like fibromyalgia, Epstein-Barr, rheumatoid arthritis, Lyme Disease, and chronic fatigue can be healed by a cleansing diet of lots of (you guessed it), fruits and vegetables. He also posits a case for super mutating viruses like CMV as the root of many of these unexplained illnesses. Healthy people may have these viruses in them (over 60% of American grownups, for instance has CMV) but when stress and illness strike, they predispose people to exhibit these ailments which are then hard to diagnose and cure. Another issue that causes the body to get out of balance according to Anthony is the overuse of "super-antibiotics" that play havoc with the human biome.

Practical and easy to follow suggestions. Who am I to quibble? He is a quiet, non-flashy guy who now has about a million FB followers and tons of testimonials from people including Hollywood stars who feel that he has helped them to heal from chronic illnesses.

Red flags went up for me when he said he started out his adventure as a medium with seeing his dead uncle who then transformed or in the telling of the story became “spirit” somehow.

I believe in the afterlife and that some individuals are blessed with seeing and feeling spirits, but I just kept thinking something is off here. But couldn’t really put my finger on it.

He did have useful information on herbs and supplements. I also agree with many of his points on diet. But I am still debating whether Epstein Barr could be the base for many current illnesses which people just can’t seem to recover from.

Another concern were the vast number of people who have actually been harmed or seen no results from his protocols. I just am skeptical of a guy who charges over $500 an appointment, doesn’t let you record it and has assistants who do most of the discussion with you. Who pays $500 bucks to see a person for a few minutes, but doesn’t really feel much better afterward.

Intriguing but I’ll keep my $500, thanks.

Ok, I'm not off my rocker or anything, but a very good GR's friend has taught me through very gentle and easy to incorporate "fixes" that some ailments which are very irritating can be managed and/or eliminated through diet and supplements. So, I'm going to read this with an open mind. From what I can tell, it's not focused on that "Divine" voice in the blurb, which was probably added to pull in another type of reader. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit wary of that. The first whiff of that kinda talk and I'll bail. But, we'll see.

Let me say this I have not gone if the rails and so far what I can see from the reviews it has really mixed reviews. All I can say is I’m an sceptical open-minded person and wanted to see what this book is all about. Well my thoughts are that there are some unresinabul claimes here about the history of some diasises that seem to be hard to differ for me, but overall some aspects are ones that i think i'm willing to try with caution.

I saw this book while browsing in the library and was totally intrigued by the enticing words on the front cover, "Secrets behind chronic and mystery illnesses and how to finally heal." I have suffered unceasingly for the past several years with some extreme, distressing, debilitating medical symptoms. None of the many doctors I have seen have been able to diagnose my condition and even worse, none of the doctors I have seen have ever heard of most of my symptoms. As I leafed through this book I was sure Anthony William would be able to heal me. Had I known what he was all about I doubt I ever would have brought home this piece of junk.

Mid-way through the first chapter or thereabouts (don't remember exactly where because the book has long gone back to the library) I realized this guy was either a total wacko or a total genius who knew how to put a good story together to make a lot of money. I didn't realize the connection between the title "Medical Medium" and his career while browsing in the library; had I been more alert I wouldn't have wasted my time. As a young boy Anthony realized he had a gift given to him by "spirit." He was able to "read" sick people and determine what is wrong with them and then "heal" them. He communicates daily with "spirit" to guide him in this. My first reaction was oh geesh, what a waste of time, but the more I read the more intrigued I became and shortly I was willing to give whatever it took (talking about big $$$$ here) for Anthony to "read" me and tell me what is wrong. Then I turned back to skepticism the more I read. He shares many stories of his readings and passes along lots of medical information, most of it given to him by spirit and most of it not backed up by real medical studies. His big thing is the Epstein Barr Virus which he believes is behind just about every malady in the world.

I did some searches on this guy and found that some people love him and while others rightly believe he is a total fake. The later group includes those who actually paid him for a reading (and like me they hoped to find a cure of their ills). His real readings are not like those in the book in which he can "scan" a person and instantly know what is wrong without having to examine or ask questions. Instead he asks questions and determines that whoever he is talking to is suffering from EBV. He then tells them what herb and vitamin supplements they need to take which he conveniently sells on his website.

I give this book the high rating of a 2 only because his biography is rather interesting. If this book were sold in the fiction section instead of non-fiction I might up that to a 3.

This book was a breath of fresh air. I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Type 2 Diabetes. I have been told things repeatedly by doctors and fellow sufferers that never made any sense to me (don't eat fruit - uh, it's natural, what?). Anthony William sheds light on these both and goes into why it's happening to our bodies It's not what modern medicine tells us at all. But since it's not like modern medicine is actually making most of us feel better, I'm done just doing what they tell me. Especially since they can never seem to tell me WHY something is happening.

The end of the book is more for the soul than the body, but they're related and both need attention.

I haven't yet put his recommendations into practice as I just finished the book. But, for the first time I have hope for feeling better.
