Thirza: Or, The Power of the Cross

Rate this book
A most striking account of the work of God's Spirit in a Jewish family.

This abbreviated and revised edition is taken from the third edition by Stephen H. Jarvis, edited by W.H. Paul in 1914.
In this new edition it has been felt necessary to eliminate much of the flowery and exaggerated language which marred the third edition - maybe partly a consequence of its translation from the German of the mid-nineteenth century. However, at no point have the facts of the account been altered. The truly remarkable work of God in the heart and life of the Jewess, Thirza, is still faithfully portrayed in these pages.

A highly descriptive narrative which speaks of the power of a Christian testimony in the home and life of a staunch denier of Christ. Replete with Scriptural quotes. A moving reminder to pray for the apple of God's eye, while we look forward to the day they will look upon Him whom they have pierced.
