•Opal
I’m the VP of the Rugged Skulls MC, the voice of reason in a crowd of chaos. But even I need a helping hand when I lay my bike down. And that help comes in the form of one sexy Army Doc who can knock me on my ass with a look. She turns the world upside down, forcing me to say the one word that means everything to my club.
•Jodie
It was supposed to be one small favor for an old friend. Take care of a biker that needed some help. I wasn’t prepared for that favor to be over six-feet-tall, packed with muscles, using a sexy grin to melt my goddamn panties. Opal’s clearly got a magic touch. He calms my soul and ignites my body simultaneously until I’m craving everything about him. But I know the MC life. They’ve caused trouble for me in the past.
But the Rugged Skulls and their VP? He could bring my entire world to its knees.

I loved Opal in the first book. I was excited for his own story- unfortunately, I didn’t really like it once I read it. :(

I still hate the stupid Snatch Chat the men are on. I’m glad it was only brought up & shown once, but I hate how others and the H always make it seem okay that it’s happening, and that it’s okay to receive a photo of a woman’s vagina while the H has a woman. That’s never okay! It’s nasty and I hate that it’s being put into a biker genre I love so much. It’s also a form of cheating to me.

As for the ploy to get these two together- I thought it was lame. I wish the story had been written better to draw them together ... like draw out their flirting and talking during his appts!! Sigh.

The relationship happened too fast- and then he got mad over something stupid way too fast and hurt her- then she got over it too fast. It was also crap when they started to fool around with Risky and Mag in the room bc they were doing it too. Well, Ms perv Risky and Mag started it.

I still hate how they have a porn business but glad we didn’t go in the building this book.

WARNING for the safety gang-
The h is kidnapped and abused physically and sexually.

In the end- I love how Opal is with Jodie for the most part, and her son Tucker. I love how taken Tucker is with Opal. But I didn’t like how easy it is to always pawn Tucker off to make the story work. I may not have loved this one, but there are still brothers I want to know what happen with them and their leading ladies when they find them.

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads.
=====================

Dezi winks at me as she passes, and I give her a smile. She has been my go-to girl over the last few years, but to be honest, even she isn’t satisfying me. Plus, she is pushing for more.

Dezi is a great girl but not someone I want to settle down with, if I’m honest. She’s too young in her ways for me. The sex is crazy good with her, but like I said, I want more. More than just sex all the time. I want someone who can carry on a fucking civil conversation.

I just want to get back to the club, soak in a hot bath, and get Dezi to fuck me into a sleep-induced coma.

Ok

I don't know what to say. This author has written some really good books on the past, but this series so far has not really hit the mark. I find it repetitive and the characters are not believable. Again you have a supposedly strong, independent woman, who has been around an MC member before, yet she goes gaga for him without any show of trepidation. And when he messes up, its a case of I'm upset but life is too short. I'm sorry, I don't believe that would be how things progress.

OMG......................
I was pulled into this book right from the get go and that is where I stayed until I had finished every single word that was written, along with having my mini movie playing along in my head.
There are twists, turns and surprises throughout the story. Some of the surprises you may see coming, while others you won't. Some are large while others are small. Some will hit you in the face while other will pull on your heart strings. Regardless of how these surprises come to you each and everyone of them holds equal importance in the story.
I laughed, I cried, I got frustrated with certain characters in this book. I felt every emotion that the characters went through and went through it with said character. I will go through all again when I read this book again, which will happen.
Amy Davies is a really brilliant author and she has become one of my go to authors. This series is my favourite of hers at the moment, it could change. This book is definitely my favourite in this series, I may have a crush on a few of the characters.
I want to say thank you to Amy Davies for sharing her words with us. I highly recommend her as an author and her books.
This book is in my top 5 favourite reads to datw.
If you haven't read this book and are an MC fan you need to read it, but read book one first it will help you understand the MC and how it's ran.
Highly, highly recommend this book.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Opal is book two in the ‘’rugged skulls MC’’ series. I devoured this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline entertaining. After getting into an accident Opal needs physical therapy. When he asks his buddy, he gets recommended to Jodie. From the moment Opal meets Jodie, he wants her. Jodie is ex army, a single mother and a physical therapist for injured soldiers. When she meets Opal she is instantly attracted but with him being her client will she take the risk of love?
The chemistry between Opal and Jodie is clear to see and I loved them together. I loved that Jodie said it how it was. She didn’t hold back.
I really liked Opal’s bond with Tucker.
I really disliked Dezi in this book. I wanted to shout at her to get the hint.
I disliked Roy. I was glad Opal and the Rugged MC men were there to help.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series!

Great story

I gave 5 stars as my expectations were mixed, for some reason the description of the book didn't made me want to read it. I picked up the book because of a recommendation, and now I have to read Magnum (which is the first book) . The story was engaging with twist and turns that made it impossible to put it down. It had drama, action and steaming hot attraction between Opal and Jodie, both interesting characters even though I was tempted to bash both of them at different times, their imperfections is what made me laugh & cry with them. Jodie's son Tucker was fun & a sweetheart that will be breaking a lot of girls hearts when he grow up. I am looking forward to reading Risky & Magnum's story and hopefully there will be more books so we can get to know the rest of the Rugged Skulls members better.

A bike accident causes Opal to need physical therapy even though he doesn't think he needs it. Opal has been looking for the woman to settle down with and when he sees Jodie he knows she is his game changer. Jodie is a single mom, Opal knows he needs to tread carefully when pursuing her. Rocky road though when Opal does something that has Jodie furious with him. It only adds to Opal's fascination with Jodie. The only hitch in their way though is that Jodie's ex is demanding his son, he also has ties to a rival club that is causing the Rugged Skulls MC problems.

I liked this one a lot, Opal though surprised me a bit. He has a calmness about him but with Jodie it flares at time. I really liked Jodie, she is a strong woman who has no problem voicing her opinion. Anxious to read next book in series.

Opal and Jodie

-Opal and Jodie-
Since I loved Magnum and Risky’s story so much I decided to continue the series, and I loved Opal and Jodie just as much.
Again, just like Magnum, Opal can be a jerk. Let’s face it, so can every man at times. But under the jerkish moments, Opal is a really great man.
I love how he treated Jodie’s son. He knew that they were a package deal and didn’t shy away from being a father to that boy.
The danger in this book was a bit different than in the first. But I feel like Jodie went through some of the same torture as Risky did. That aspect was an added bonus to the story that I enjoyed. I hated reading what Jodie went through, but it made her even stronger in the end.
I can’t wait to read more!! Onto Slide’s story!

Oh these just get better and better.. Opal and Jodie were FIRE!

Opal is the VP of the Rugged Skulls MC and Jodie former Military member who didn't re enlist after her baby. Opal is hurt and needs therapy.. Jodie was asked a favor by a mutual friend to take him on and help him out..

The connection between Opal and Jodie is instant.. so instant that Opal calls DIBS right away..

This book is filled with all the Drama, twist & turns.. THE HEAT!! This is the 4th book by this author I have read.. (my bad.. I started with Sarge.. OOPS) and went back to the beginning.. Amy is a newer to me author and when I read Sarge i just knew I needed to read the entire series... amazing job!!

This book is absolutely amazing from start to finish and fantastically written and keep you enthralled throughout the story. Amy Davies is a fantastic author and the story line are awesome. I would highly recommend this book to be read.

So incredibly corny n formulaic. Just couldn't bear reading it anymore.

The dialogue is cringe worthy, the fmc hard ex military strong woman submits n goes on a date with him as soon as he's called dibs even though she said she needed to remain professional n not mix it up whilst treating him.

Panty nekting dialogue from opal? More like worst, cheesiest chat up lines ever. Put me off him completely.

Nope not feeling it at all, yet another meh formulaic predicable biker book. Nothing new. Nothing exciting just boring old stereotypes.

Opal, Jodie & Tucker

Opal is the calm one until you mess with those he considers his world and once he sets his sights on Jodie she and Tucker quickly become his world. This man is sweet, caring, sexy as all get out and brought me to my knees more than once. When Jodie's ex causes problems Opal does everything he can to make sure her and Tucker never have to go worry about him again. The conversation Tucker had with Opal about being his dad brought me to my knees and the vows omg yup you guessed it tears in my eyes again. On to the next book.

Loved reading this

A wonderful story that sees a chemistry between Opal and Jodie when they first meet. Opal has gone to see Jodie as a therapist for his ankle. Sparks fly. However once they get back on track again its all go. It seems that there are a few hurdles to jump over naming one that a certain club girl dosnt want to let Opal go and then Jodies ex husband who is in a MC is determined to get his son back whatever the cost.

This book was so awesome to read, totally loved it

Opal rocks

Opal was an amazing read. I loved Opal in Magnum but Opal came into is own. He was hurt and sent to Jodie to help him recover. He recover and ended up finding he forever. While they had to deal a lot to get there watching them
Grow and the rest of the mc was awesome ride. I loved getting to catch up with everyone. This is an AMAZING book and can’t wait to see what happens next

I loved this book!!!!! I was a bit skeptical because I wasn’t too fond of Opal in Magnum & Kara’s book. He finally found what he was always longing for….someone to come home to. He found love in Jodie and he got a son as a bonus! He was so kind and caring to Tucker. Opal is the dad that Tucker needs not the father he got stuck with. Roy/Creep really did live up to his road name. He was such a sleaze. Happy he got what he deserved. This was a beautifully written book. Very enjoyable!

Some plot issues with this one.

While I liked the basic characters of Opal and Jodie the plot didn't help them. Jodie and her family came across as blind (for an army family).
I felt sorry for Dezi regardless of what opal did in the beginning on the book what he did beforehand was a bit shit and no wonder she was confused.

Good

Good story. Good characters. Almost had a fit over how Dezi was acting but I'm glad she's getting a man. Like the way the author introduces couples in earlier books. Like Opals relationship with Tucker. Outside that, the story was a little used. And as always, thanks for the read!

Love it

Jodie is an ex army medic who decided to open up a physiotherapy facility so she could help soldiers recover.
Opal is ran off his bike by an ex member of his club and ends up in hospital. Once he’s recovered enough he goes to Jodie through a friend. He goes to PT and that’s the start of them liking each other.
I’m really enjoying this series.

Opal and Jodie

I thoroughly enjoyed Opal and Jodie's story. They were a great match with just the tight level of angst. There was a good balance of hotness and action . I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

I just didn't like it. Everything moved way to fast and because of that everything felt shallow. Even with bits of the past stories revealed of both characters it felt like the MCs were one dimensional. Predictable as well.

Opal hurts his ankle when he's run off the road. He meets Jodie who is a physical therapist and is smitten. Thus begins their love story but enemies try to come between them and his brothers step in to assist.

I love Opal!

Eh

I love a good MC romance, however I'm tired of the female getting treated like crap and then she gets smiled at and forgives how she's been hurt. Also the people in Florida don't speak this way so some research would have been nice.

A sassy, witty, charming and entertaining ride to go on with Opal and Jodie. This story has the perfect amount of angst, suspense, intrigue and of course romance. I enjoyed every single moment of this story.

Great Love story

I imagine Opal being someone who you just automatically fall in love with, he is easy to get twisted up in and hard to get out of your head.
I enjoyed this book as I did Mag and Risky.

Good addition to the series.

Really enjoyed Opal and Jodie’s book. Not too much angst, as always as a brother he messes things up, and was lucky he didn’t lose her. Good action and plot, looking forward to the next book.
