After deciding he didn’t like stability or predictable paychecks he made the jump to become a freelance writer. That soon turned into ghostwriting romance novellas, then ghostwriting science fiction novels. After some time, he was able to excise the ghost from ghostwriting and write his own books.
When Alex isn’t writing, he’s likely lost in a wetland, falling down in his novice hockey league, or playing competitive pinball. Oh, and gaming. Lots of gaming.

The Nova Online series has gotten better and better with each book. The final instalment, Harbinger, is an epic and truly satisfying conclusion to an awesome SF LitRPG trilogy. If you liked the others, you will NOT be disappointed by this one!

Great set to read
Great story in an exciting series with balanced characters . All characters develop and become more detailed and nuanced making the story enjoyable and grounded. Wouldn’t mind reading stories about Kaiden and his friends in the Nova Online universe

Book 3 of 3 - have no fear, this is the end...
While still reeling from the events IRL, Kaiden, Zelda and Titus must decide whom to trust, and how much. Thorne could still be working for the Party, but as time goes on, it becomes obvious, they must choose; trust her completely, or not at all. In an end-game where the stakes are all-or-nothing, can our heroes succeed in-game to save themselves IRL, or will the Party finally catch up and disappear them like all their other opponents?

Great series
Use of ability’s all planned out well for a litrpg. The final fight actually caught me as I thought all was lost. Wanna loose yourself in a series this is it.

Excellent conclusion to the series. Fun abilities introduced and used at the right times, exciting range of battles and challenges, and a nice element of real consequences outside the game.

I'm a bit disappointed in this series as a whole. I picked up this series because of the scifi aspects of it, but on the whole, it was more a political thriller than a scifi story, so that doesn't help. It does have scifi elements, and if those were stressed a bit more, I think the story would be a lot better. Of course, I really enjoy the scifi elements, so of course I'd say that. But for what it's worth, the story isn't a bad one, though I do think the whole take down the ruling regime and replace it with something different trope is getting a bit worn, since it seems that's all anybody writes about these days. But other than that, I liked the story well enough, and while it's enjoyable enough for scifi fans, I really think those political thriller folks would enjoy it even more.

So this is the end of the story and although I would like to hear more from the crew this reaches a suitable conclusion and the final battle makes it worth waiting for. Based on this I shall be looking at more of his books as well.

The ending is paramount. And this one....
You know story "Ready Player One"?. Well, it is that. Or more specifically, the final battle sequence.
But the ending? Felt like it was ended by a person who did not participate in that final battle.

Awesome finale to this trilogy!! It was a blast following this crew and I'm so sad the story is over.
