I’ve known him for less than five minutes, and already I know I want nothing to do with him.

When I saw Lily announce that she's back to writing, I was thrilled. When I saw that she'll finally releasing book 4 in her Antihero Inferno, I was damn near rabid. So you best believe that I was on this book immediately after it hit my kindle. And while it's over 500 pages, I devoured this in one sitting. And it was worth every painful second of the wait.
He truly is a drug, this man. A high so damn addicting that I’ll never recover if I lose him.

Now did I remember anything from the previous books? Absolutely not. So I did have to reread the last few chapters of Violence to jog my memory. So when I tell you that you need to read this series in order, believe me. As I've come to learn in the previous book, the author is ending us with her endings. This is a continuing story arc that you simply need to read in order to understand.

Heresy is Shane's story. Shane was the bad boy that instantly caught my attention with his irreverent ways in Treachery. I was dying to meet the woman that would bring this playboy to his knees. And Brinley definitely delivered. This was a woman that was no pushover. Growing up, her private investigator father raised her to trust no one and always watch her back. As a grown woman desperately looking and whose father dissapeared, the last thing thing she needs is a complication in the form of Shane. What starts with barbs and banter when they randomly run into each other, soon turns to something else entirely when Shane realizes who she is. And then what he has to do to get answers that she holds to the Inferno's plans.

As always, it was packed with a layer of suspense in along the steamy romance. And while we get a little satisfaction with the romantic HEA, the story leaves you with more questions than when you started. And the tease at the end for Damon's book? BRING. IT. ON.

“Sixth Circle:  Heresy. I laugh about him. Always one to go against the grain, Shane Carter had his own sense of style, his own way of thinking, and being an instigator, he loved to cause arguments wherever he went. He’s an artist in everything he does, but a bad boy nonetheless. He leaves a trail of broken-hearted women and broken-nosed men, mostly because he loves to see how far he can push a person before they snap. I didn’t mind being around him, but that doesn’t mean I was stupid enough to piss him off. Shane was creative when it came to getting even.”

“I’m not known for following rules. Coloring within the lines of ethics and morality is meaningless when it comes to getting what I want.”

***The Inferno Boys-Antihero series: ***
This series is about nine guys who have been manipulated by their fathers all their lives. On the surface they are jerks, but that’s because they are puppets being controlled by their families. They are working towards revenge, but it takes time and impeccable planning.

Each guy has a nickname based on the nine circles of hell. This story is about the guy who claims the Sixth Circle - Heresy - aka Shane Carter

“I have a love of chaos. I just like to be in control of it when it occurs. And the best way to control a chaotic situation is to be the bastard who engineered it.”

“Beneath the fancy clothing and polished exterior lies a heretic who lives his life without rules and does what pleases him.”

**Synopsis:**
The saga continues with the search for the servers and the goal of getting revenge with the Inferno’s dads. Therefore, Shane has been tasked with getting close to Brinley because the guys believe her father is in possession of the servers.

** The following are my thoughts about this book: **
- I was so excited to see Lily is back and this book was finally being published. I pretty much forgot the nuances of the story, so before starting this one I did go back and read all three books again. Time spent with Treachery, Fraud and Violence was no struggle at all. I absolutely love these guys.

- I like how the series continues to overlap events from other books. This time we get to find out why Damon and Shane fought seven guys and ended up in jail. I love how the author has an event happen in a previous book and then unfolds more detail later in a different book. It allows the reader to get several different perspectives of the same event.

- I really enjoyed Shane and Brinley. They had great banter. You could truly feel how much Brinley detested Shane in the beginning and that dislike created some great dialogue between these two.
** “You are nothing more than a painful squirt of runny shit, and you’ll never get anywhere near my panties.”
“I’m sorry, but what did you just call me?” Shooting him a look that would cut glass, I repeat myself. “A painful squirt of runny shit.”
“What does that even mean?”
“It means you aren’t good enough to be a regular piece of shit. Those are well-formed and solid. A sign of good health. Which you are anything but. So you’re a squirt of runny shit. Diarrhea. The kind that makes a person break out in a cold sweat as they sit on the pot, their stomach in knots while the room spins around them. You are the kind of shit that people pray to whoever they believe in just to get you out of their body. That’s what I mean by that.”

Shane thought his assignment was going to be so easy and it was great to see how Brinley got the better of him time and time again. They were a good pairing and I really liked how he challenged her to get outside her comfort zone.
It was a bit of an insta love thing (not my favorite) but it worked for me.

- Brinley seemed a bit meek at times. Other times she would surprise me with her ability to stay calm in a pressure situation. There isn’t always explanations for why people have panic attacks, but that just didn’t seem to go with her character. I think I needed an explanation of why she would get panic attacks. What was the basis of her trigger?

- Sometimes we can have the best training and still forget it all when stressed. Brinely showed this a couple different times when she didn’t make the best decisions, even though she should’ve known better (and she even rattled off in her brain all the reasons she knew better). Just shows we’re human, and for that reason she was really easy to relate to.

- I literally cracked up at the botched rescue of Brinley. Picturing these big, tough bad boys sitting at the table having cookies with grandma made me laugh 😂

- There was not much information provided about Shane’s dad or how he was raised. Therefore, I felt like I was lacking a bit of character development of how he ended up being the instigator of the group

- There were a couple times where I felt like the guys never seemed to catch a break. They always seem to be surprised by something. It’s time for them to start to turn the tables and get the upper hand.

- The story had a couple new reveals and connections. Some new characters were introduced that I am sure will be prominent in future books. The servers are still missing and no one knows what’s on the flash drive, so the suspense continues.

- I LOVE this series. Can’t wait for Anger’s book!!

**Overview:**
- Do you need to read previous books in series?: Yes. This is not a standalone series and each book builds on the previous one
- POV: Dual POV

- Who is the Hero? Shane Carter (probably late 20’s). He is the instigator of the group and loves to engineer chaotic situations just for the fun of it. He’s a lawyer, but would prefer to have his head stuck in a car engine. The love of his life is his 1970 Chevy Chevelle

- Who is the Heroine? Brinley Thornton (22). Her mom died when she was twelve and her dad (owned a security firm) raised her to be super paranoid about her surroundings. She is going to college, working on her Masters in Philosophy. She believes she is ordinary and forgettable. She has panic attacks, worries a lot and has been very sheltered

- h virgin? no
- First time they kiss: 60%
- First time they sleep together: 62%
- Safe sex? Condoms were not used
- First time they say I Love You 90%
- steamy? Yes. Descriptive bedroom scenes
- OW/OM drama? No
- H/h cheat? No
- Time apart? None
- Did I skip pages? No
- Big secrets? Shane had a secret that he withheld from the Inferno guys. He revealed it around 79%
- Did I cry? No
- Did I laugh? I chuckled a few times. They have good banter and Brinley has some snappy comebacks
- Did I swoon? Shane had a couple swoony moments - especially when he tried to help Brinley through her panic attacks
- Cliffhanger? Yes. The series wont wrap up until the final book
- HEA? HFN
- Epilogue? sets up Damon’s story
- Recommend? yes - I love this series

**Quotes**
“What you don’t know and what you can’t find by Internet searches, following me around or searching my dorm room is what I think and feel. And if you believe getting inside my head is as easy as accusing me of some random bullshit, you can stuff that thought up your ass and bounce around on it for all I care.”

“For fuck’s sake. Now he’s acting like some guru or life coach who’s going to solve all my problems with some secret ancient teaching.”

“You don’t know freedom until you’re so in love with a moment and a feeling that everything that came before it, and whatever could possibly happen after it, are meaningless.”

“Is it possible to be so opposite of another person yet be so much alike that anybody looking between us would fail to find a distinction?”

“Brinley Thornton could try to escape to the deepest parts of hell, and I would tear down those gates and dance through the brimstone and fire just to find her and keep her by my side.”

If you’re a fan of this incredible author, you’ve probably been waiting for this book to release for years. Let me assure you: HERESY is BEYOND worth waiting for!!!! Lily White is back and better than ever!

Usually, I would need to reread the earlier books in a series before reading the fourth installment after such a long time, but because Lily did such a phenomenal job of reminding us of where we left off, it felt like I was reuniting with old friends!
It felt so good to dive back into the world of the sexy, devious Inferno crew who are up to their usual antics, manipulating and seducing better than ever before! I instantly fell back in love with each alluring character and savored the exciting, genuine-feeling relationship that formed between Shane and Brinley. Long story short, it’s a phenomenal book!!! I’m so glad Lily and her bad boys are back!!!!

Oh lawd have mercy, lily took her time due to her illness (the dreaded C word), but her recovered self is packing a powerful punch. She's back with her Inferno Boys with Shane Carter who's anything but acceptably normal child. He flows against the current and does everything what his heart dictates. Impulsive, whimsical, brash, arrogant, he need reining and in walks Brinley Thornton, AKA Nerdy Ninja who's a complete opposite.
But the yin & yang fit together which h0gives birth to wittiest banter and sizzling chemistry.

"Life is just one disaster waiting to happen, and as a young woman, I'm its favorite victim. Rules don't apply when you're dancing with the devil."

There's intrigue and plotting, swirling like a hurricane strength cloud above them all.the elders need to be contained and it's a looming threat which will take them down.
Kept me so engrossed, I forgot to eat and drink.
Ooooooh boy!!

***4,25 "Nerdy Ninja Witch!!!" stars***

HERESY: noun
Opinion profoundly at odds with what is generally accepted.

And Lily White is back, ladies and gentlemen!!! And I am ecstatic of this fact!!!
I have missed her incredible writing and I have missed my beloved, unapologetical manipulative Inferno boys!!!
And she returned back to us with Shane Carter, known as Heresy on his circle!!!
And what a wonderful story was that!!! Packed of intensity, crazy and chaotic energy and a nerdy heroine, the exact oppossite from our beloved bad boy, who knew how to give him back hell!!! What a delightful thing was that to witness!!!

"He's exactly the type of man my parents always warnd me about."

A chance encounter between Shane and Brinley brought the worst of them out and then, this nerdy girl became Shane's mission to help of the craziness that follows the Inferno Boys!!!
A girl seemingly very easy to bring on her knees by the master manwhore Shane Carter turned out to be a nerdy ninja who was very hard to catch!!!
Oh God!!! These two were so funny when they were at each other's throat!!! It was delightful to witness their downfall!!!
Brinley was a complete surprise for both us and Shane and she was the only one who could handle the chaos in Shane like a pro!!!

"She's a nightmare disguised as a nerd."

I really loved this couple... They were imperfectly perfect together!!!
I really loved that I saw the general story develop a little bit more, even though I have so many questions for so many things that are taking place in here!!!
The only sure thing is that I am enjoying too much the connection between the inferno boys and their girls and this certain couple, even though their story was a little bit slower than the previous three couple's in the series, it was a beautiful thing to witness!!!

"I don't think you understand that there's a sledgehammer in you that has somehow knocked down every one of my walls."

The Inferno Boys are one of my biggest addiction in the bookish world and I can not wait to read every single one's story!!!
And I am anticipating Damon's story like a hawk!!!
Lily White is incredible talented and knows how to develop complicating and very intriguing plotlines that can bring you to your knees...
It is soooo good that Lily White is back!!!! Gawd!!! I've missed her so much!!!

"I believed that my rules could protect me... Shane was the first person to teach me that rules don't apply when you're dancing with the devil."

Lord how I loved this book. When the series first started I'd grown bored of the trope and DNF'd book 3. I plan on re-reading them all and seeing if I enjoy them more this time.

Whilst I loved Brinsley, who didn't take any sh*t from Shane and the rest of the guys, Shane's utter disdain for Tanner was what really sold me on the book. Well, that and the excellent writing, high-stakes plot, fast-paced plot, and scorching chemistry between Brinsley and Shane.

Lily White is one heck of an author and she hit the ball right out of the park when she wrote this story. She also whetted our appetite and set the scene for one heck of an Ames/Declan book.

Sixth Circle: Heresy, Shane Carter had his own sense of style, his own way of thinking, and being an instigator, he loved to cause arguments wherever he went. He’s an artist in everything he does, but a bad boy nonetheless.

And the plot is getting thicker and thicker, becoming more and more confused.
I had not realised how much I've been wanting to get back with the Inferno, and somebody needs to tell me what's going on???

Shane and Brinley's relationship is electrifying, the banter between them is sizzling and hilarious.
“You are nothing more than a painful squirt of runny shit.”

I lost it, after reading that.
These two have a highly sexually charged relationship and quickly have become quite dependent on each other. I find it very difficult to elaborate more, without giving away too much.

Lily White has again proven to be a master story teller, I devoured this and am eagerly waiting for Damon's book Anger.

Nine Standalone novels. Nine dangerous men. Nine unrepentant sinners you’ll hate to love. Nine irresistible manipulators that would do you a favour if you promised to pay the price.

ALL MY REVIEWS CAN BE FOUND ON MY BLOG: ABSTRACT BOOKS

line

Star Rating : 4.5 / 5 Stars

POV : Dual

Cliffhanger : None

Hero : Shane

Heroine : Brinley

Pace of the story : Moderate

Angst Rating : 6/10

Heat Rating : 5/10

Triggers Involved : Past Trauma

Plot Summary :
All Shane knows is to get his tasks completed. He is the one person in his group that has no rules. He will gladly break them all to get to his mission. That is until his mission is a petite Spitfire who somehow remembers him and hates him. He thought it would be easy to fool her but this certainly makes things tough. Then why does he love it when she gets angry? Why does it turn him on?

Brinley knows something has gone wrong. Her father is missing and she is certainly not fine. No one is telling her the truth and the one man who always seems to be with her when things are going wrong , is not helping either. In Fact he has games of his own. Hin and his friends. But they are all fools if they think that they can use her that easily .

Overall Opinion :
Shane is here! First of all I would like to give this author a huge fr asking shoutout for not only battling cancer but also coming out more ruthless and amazing as ever! Lily is truly an inspiration.

I was heartbroken when I got to know that this series was being put on hold a few years ago but then even more devastated when I got to know the reason why. And then somehow this woman performs a literal miracle and gives this book to us! I will forever be thankful.

Shane and Brinley have an amazing tale of love and hate. The characters are amazing and the banter in this book is to die for like all the books of this series. This author never fails to make me laugh with her jokes! Next up is Damon and I am so glad to say that we do meet his woman in this book and I am already losing my mind about it.

Definitely recommending this one to all the dark romance loving people out there.

Lily White is back and I couldn’t be happier!! I missed this author’s crazy twisted mind. HERESY was most definitely worth the long wait. I needed to jog my memory a bit as to where things left off with VIOLENCE, but after that it was game on. Who needs sleep anyway? Lol.

As always with Ms. White’s stories, this one too was chock-full of intrigue, manipulation and seduction, right along with the steamy yet slow-burn romance. It’s alluring and intense and simply storytelling at its finest. Now I’m on pins and needles for the next book in this series, which will be Damon’s story. I cannot wait!

KILLING ME SOFTLY WITH BRILLIANCE ... put me out of my misery, and pass Shane my way

THE INFERNO BOYS CATCH FIRE ONCE AGAIN!
And that naughty heretic Shane is on full, luscious and infuriating display in a turbulently feisty love story with even more intensity in the ongoing war raging between the 9 Inferno Boys and their criminal fathers. Heresy’s winner-takes-all match of wits in the midst of mayhem, murder, and compounding secrets does not disappoint with one plot twist after another. Each Inferno Boy is named after Dante’s 9 circles of Hell and they’re all lawyers with different personalities. Brilliant, right? Heresy is the most anticipated book of the series given the author’s understandable 2 year absence. But make no mistake … Lily White is baaack with a mind-boggling vengeance and her unique and creative writing talents are on full display. Let’s just say that you were sorely missed Ms. White and welcome back to us from the depth of our bookish little hearts!

It was so worth the wait because never underestimate Inferno. Just jump on the Shane train and experience another facet of Inferno as Shane plays by no rules other than his own and takes no prisoners … except for Brinley. Don’t even think about tackling this book before reading Treachery, Violence and Fraud first because details, reveals and story direction keep changing and building off each other from book to book. Lily does a great job reminding us of the evolving father-son saga and the score card, plus the previous three love stories before this one. For the full experience, read the books in order to fully understand and absorb the genius of this twisty “sins of the fathers” war in progress. Their backstories will break your heart; their looks will slay you; the romance will sustain you, and the suspense will kill you.

“There are monsters out in the world who will steal from you, hurt you, take your soul, your pride, your body or your life. They hurt you because you hurt them first, or they hurt you because they can. The world, according to my father, is just one big disaster waiting to happen, and as a young woman, I’m its favorite victim. Maybe it’s in the moments that you finally believe nothing can go wrong, that the worst is about to strike. My monster wasn’t just out to hurt me, but wanted to steal me from my life. He wanted to change me. Shane Carter isn’t just a monster. [He’s] a man that doesn’t care when someone tells him no. In Shane’s world, there are no rules that he should follow. The moment I believed that my rules could protect me, Shane was the first person to teach me that rules don’t apply when you’re dancing with the devil.”

And dance they do. A lawyer in Inferno’s law firm, tatted Shane prefers his alter ego as a grease monkey fixing cars, getting into fights, and racing his restored muscle car as he recklessly dares death to come for him. He’s got secrets upon secrets from his Inferno bros that eat him alive despite his emotional armor, has sworn off forever love with a mate, and is the guy Inferno counts on when the dirty trash needs to be taken out. The war with their fathers has escalated in each book to new levels of mindfuckery and plot twists. Women connected to the “other side” become their pawns (and eventual lovers) while digging for info to outsmart their dads once and for all. The spotlight now shines on coed Brinley the book nerd daughter of one of their sworn enemies. She lands in Inferno’s crosshairs by accident as a lead to info that holds all the answers to destroying their fathers. It’s a bumpy ride of resistance for the couple, kidnapping, panic attacks, murder, scare tactics, surprise revelations, lots of denial, SEX, and the scariest monkey wrench of all… love.

You can’t help but fall for this couple as they fiercely resist each other. Brinley’s afraid to let loose and live while Shane’s afraid to slow down and feel. Together, they bring out the best and worst in each other only to discover that opposites are just two sides of the same coin. Their push and pull was a pleasure to behold as they go from enemies to lovers and change each other for the better. No Inferno love is easy, but it never lets a reader down as these two lovers tap dance around feelings out of their depth. And if you want to know how great love scenes are written, Lily knows that describing emotions is where it’s at.

The banter is stellar between them as a couple, as well amongst the Inferno Boys, and with their feisty women who put the boys in their place. Like her predecessors in the other books, Brinley’s got a mouth on her that won’t quit and some real bark to match Shane’s bite. Lily gets the reader up to speed by the halfway point on what happened in the previous books, and then the love story and war really take off. I was even more engrossed in the boys' intricate machinations in the tit-for-tat standoff and aggression used on both sides. This one-upmanship battle really keeps a reader on their toes with surprises. Not everything goes Inferno’s way, and Brinley doesn’t make it easy for Shane, but the introduction of her college bestie Ames (a club dancer from the wrong side of the tracks) offers something fresh in the girlfriend camp, and as setup for the next book. The rug is always being pulled out from under the reader with new mystery and loose ends, and just because the love story comes together doesn’t mean that Inferno finds itself any closer to the answers they seek. Never underestimate Lily’s storytelling skills and stay tuned for continuation in Damon Cross’s book Anger.

So far:
Treachery (Inferno leader Tanner & Luca)
Fraud (Inferno lawyer Gabriel & Ivy)
Violence (Twin Ezra the enforcer & Emily)
Heresy (Shane & Brinley)

I would have never guessed that Lily took some personal time from writing!

This book delivered! I loved reading the interactions between the Inferno Boys and how intertwined they are.

This book focuses on Shane and Brinley. Their story was cute but still had the typical Lily drama and forced proximity.

Brinley is now one of my favorite heroines because she’s so shy but holds her ground. I love how she treated Shane and how their relationship blossomed throughout the book.

The secrets and mysteries have been built upon from previous books and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next!

4.5 Love it and so happy to have Lily writing again!!

Lily is BACK!!!!! I'm here to tell you it was worth the wait!

Lily is one of my all time favorite authors, and I'm so glad to have her words, her humor, her characters and those story lines that she gives us.

Lily did an awesome job reminding us where we left off, with this sexy crew of characters.  Lily is one of the best story tellers out there, and Shane's story is just one more reason to love this author and this series.

The story is addicting, consuming, spicy, and of course Lily's brilliant humor.  I adore alpha men and Shane fits right in with me.  Shane and Brinley relationship felt so real, I completely fell for them.  We get some answers......but true to Lily we also get more questions.

I look forward to seeing how everything plays out, it's sure to be interesting with Lily leading the way.

A-D-D-I-C-T-I-V-E!!!
It’s been years since I last read about the magical powers of the mysterious 9 man secret society Inferno.

As soon as I turned to page one, I was back in their world, happily entwined in the dark secret life, twisted web of lies and debauchery… Inferno style.

Simply put, it was well worth the wait and it surpassed all my expectations.

This author has the bewitching power of creating characters and stories that are so easy to love and so easy to re-enter their world.
Definitely not a standalone, and while it would have helped if I had re read the prior books before this installment to have every detail fresh in my mind, I didn’t, and it wasn’t a problem. Honestly, not only did I remember, the author provided enough information to remember what has leading up to this installment.

This installment highlights Shane and Brinley’s story. His marching orders were to get Brinley, get the info he’s been ordered to get from her…In and out…easy…peasy…NOT!
Brinley is a fantastic heroine and a great addition to this cast of devilishly delicious misfits. She’s a loner, a book nerd, not one to trust easily as taught by her dad and the reason why she’s a new Inferno target. Shane our broken hero is a proud monster who doesn't care about opinions and or what is acceptable in modern society. Rules don’t apply to him when you’re dancing with his namesake the Heretic!

Yet, at the heart of it all, this was an unconventional romance brimming with a unique brand of twisted swoony heartfelt passion and hilarious humor!
Theirs was an opposites attract, slow burn romance that literally kept me awake until I finished. Every time I said ok this is the last page, something happened in the book and I HAD to read on.

Shane and Brinley soon found out that you cannot judge a book by its cover. Brinley his target, is a nerdy bookworm who has a peculiar like for a notorious adult Club Myth. He soon discovers she is so much more than his Nerdy Ninja Witch. To her, he may be Jackass but she’s finding in him something she cannot let go of!
They perfectly complement each other. Weak and struggling when they’re apart but so damn powerful when they’re together.

Fast paced, gritty, sexy and full of unexpected surprises. Shane and Brinley were delicious. Her character was so well developed she fit right in with Shane and the rest of the Inferno. I had so many questions about Shane’s background. Why the tats, the dual profession of mechanic/lawyer. His undeniable deep rooted attraction to Brinley!!

Nonetheless, I loved everything about this story, the build up, the suspense, the outrageous antics,
and how for every revelation made, a new secret comes up!

Oh course this is an ensemble cast story so all the Inferno Demon gods and their Queens are back.

New characters are introduced, old characters re-emerge, the story just unfolded seamlessly and I cannot wait for the next installment!!

★4.5 no rules stars★

After a long hiatus Ms White is back, get ready to jump back on the Inferno boys train, brace yourself because Shane isn’t a slow ride, he’s unapologetically reckless, heresy isn’t just his moniker he is heresy; chaos, mayhem and lack of rules foreshadow his devastating presence. Thinking of surviving in his destructive path is useless in the face of such force.

~𝙈𝙮 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙢𝙚, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚. 𝙃𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙢𝙚~

Who would have thought a “nerdy ninja” would be what put Shane in his place, mind you, Brinley doesn’t walk an easy path; she’s up against heresy after all, yet she doesn’t care, she refuses to be pushed into a corner, she fights him tooth and nail even if she’s aware she doesn’t stand a chance.

𝙄 𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙣𝙤 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙖 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙡𝙚𝙮 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙚

Two apparently opposite sides, two impossibly different people, two burning lonely souls, two products of bad parenting lies and deceits, Brinley and Shane are so unlike you almost miss how perfectly they fit together. Some well delivered slow burn completes this steamy atmosphere. There is only one winner in this battle of hearts and headstrong characters, take this adrenaline filled journey to find out who that is… well done Ms White for bringing out the shine out of these two characters, even the most unassuming one!

~𝙄𝙩 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙧 𝙗𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙. 𝙄𝙩 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜~

I really enjoyed this return on the writing scene by Lily, I admire this author as an artist but also as a person, her strength and determination are inspiring. Back to book talking, the story is told in dual POV, I had fun exploring Shane’s mind, to finally find out what’s inside that head. I appreciated Brinley and I feel she’s a good match for Shane. The narrative pace was sometimes slow with some repetitions, nonetheless, this was an awesome ride we get some morsels to fill in the bigger picture framing all these interconnected stand alones, but there is so still much more to discover, more mischievous handsome characters to meet and I cannot wait to read more of these infamous boys and their stories.

Heresy is the 4th book in author Lily White's Anti Hero Inferno series and it was definitely worth the wait.

Author Lily White picks up the series seamlessly and effortlessly, transporting me right back into the twisted world of the nine. Nine hot, sexy, confident, arrogant, dark, dangerous alphaholes and this is Shane's story.

Heresy focuses on Shane and Brinley. They are the epitome of opposites attract. And yet, like Yin and Yang they completely complement each other, though they sure take their time figuring it out. I love their banter and the push / pull is intense.
They give new meaning to slow burn. It was sweet torture waiting for them to find their way.

Heresy continues to build the story arc of the guys and their fathers, the plans they're making and why. It is intriguing, angsty, dark and funny. I was captivated from page one. I love the way all the guys play a part in the books and their personalities and friendships enhance the plot.

I'm so happy that author Lily White is doing better. She is back to doing what she does best-creating worlds with characters and stories so addictive, her books can't be put down! Cannot WAIT for the next one!

Heresy is here, and if You'd fallen in love with theis series - today is THE DAY , You can jump into 9 circles world right away and again !

The waiting is finally over, and I'm glad that author could come back to us with another amazing installment in this series. Heresy is more than twisted, with ups and downs that had gave me tons of goosebumps... Shane and Brinley are delivering rollercoaster ride, they challenged my state of mind with every single page lol.

I liked Heresy, it was everything what I expected frim this author, but it was also different. It's been some time, since last books, and honestly I needed to remind myself few events but, I found myself hooked with Brinley and Shane from the beginning. Heresy is not only a romance, it's more suspense and action but author left me in awe at the end.

Shane is a stubborn mofo lol, and Brinley is not better than him - She totally played him with a poker face. The mistery and secrets were hidden on every single corner...Even if author gave us some answers, there're MORE of them coming. Cannot wait for more in this series.

It was so good to be back in this world and this group of intense characters. It has been a little while since the last book so I re-read the last few chapters of the previous book. The Inferno crew are a complex bunch of young men who make manipulation an art form. We get some answers but just enough that the author keeps you invested in the storyline. Brinley and Shane's relationship is interesting to say the least and I loved their back and forth interactions. I won't give anything away but it's twisty, had mean guy vibes and had me obsessed with them all over again. Shane and Brinley have a sexy intoxicating relationship and I absolutely fell hard for them. I cannot wait to find out more about Ames and Damon it is going to be interesting for sure.

“Just admit it, you like me.”

I have loved every single book in this series and Hersey is my FAVORITE so far!
Shane. I had no idea I would fall so madly in love with him like I did. He was everything and MORE. As Brinley would say, Shane is a work of art, an experience. Such an experience omg.

“He truly is a drug, this man. A high so damn addicting that I’ll never recover if I lose him.”

If you think you have a favorite man just give up already. Because it is impossible to pick just one. I have a feeling I am going to be calling Damon my favorite next. Because he is just… so broken.
Brinley, AKA “Nerdy Ninja Witch”, WOW what a heroine!!! She was PERFECT for Shane!! I could taste her annoyance everytime he was around. I loved how much she hated him in the beginning and how he just wouldn’t LET her dislike him anymore. The constant “do you like me” questions just made me swoon. Still swooning. Finally when they started getting one up on each other and when they started to laugh and make fun of one another, I fell HARDER for the both of them. Then when they CONNECTED physically? WOW. As Shane would say, he owns that body so he gets to do what he wants with it 😅

“By the time I’m done with you, that halo you like to wear will be long gone.”

I laughed so much. The banter and chemistry between Shane and Brinley was OFF THE CHARTS. More than the chemistry I seen with any other couple so far. And I LOVED how she fit right in with the other girls.
I had no idea Shane was so charming. He made me smile, swoon and MELT with every single page.

“Don’t ever do that again.” Confused, I spin back to find Shane’s narrowed stare targeting me. “Do what?”
“Leave me.” —-SWOON

We got to see that beautiful picture Brinley painted for us with all the men in their suits sitting around the boardroom table and I just MELTED AGAIN. Man, these men in the Inferno are my favorite set of men in ANY BOOK I have ever read.
(OH YEA…. TAYLOR?!?! I love that I got to see more of him in this book because he is so elusive. Also, WHY DO I GET THE FEELING SOMETHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH HIM AND KANE? OMGOMG I would FREAK for an MM… but I will settle for an MMF with Hannibal)
These books get better with each man/story so that only means Damon’s book is going to blow us away. I could feel it all throughout the book. And his woman? I LOVE HER. She gave us so much personality in this book I am DYING to see more of her in the next book. She just FITS so perfectly with the crew. But omg Granger….. what is he gonna do?! Is he gonna be a bad guy or a good guy?? (*cue freaking out for another MMF*) I also love Damon and Shanes friendship. SO MUCH. They just need each other and I couldn’t see one without the other now. They’re like 2 bad devils on your shoulder. Or kids with the way they fight LOL when they were on the top of the stairs and then both fell down and started fighting, laughing and bringing Gabe into it I, ONCE AGAIN, I AM A PUDDLE.

“I can lose everything I have in this world, but I know if her hand is in mine, I’ll survive.”

Before I end this review I need to tell you to read the FULL story even AFTER the epilogue because you get a sneak peek into the next book and it sounds sooo sooo sooo good. Damon’s chapter… it already broke me. DAMON, DAMON, DAMON…The twin I love the most.

“They’re pretty to look at but have danger written all over them.”

I cannot even explain how ready, anxious and excited I am for his book. The most I have been in any of the books. He just… I cant explain it. I feel like Damon owns my heart already and I haven’t even read his story yet. And Ames? Wow I got to see so much of her with just one chapter.

“not all of us were shaped from the same mold.”

I fell even more in love with that one chapter Amelie had than the whole book with her in it. This is going to be a WILD ride!!! (Oh and the little bits and pieces we got to see of Jase going crazy everytime Everly was brought up got me SCREAMING for their story. Lily White does an EXCEPTIONAL job at keeping us on our toes while getting us hyped for the next book.) this book was more than 5 stars. It was 9 hot Inferno stars.

ANOTHER score!

It is incredible how each installment in this series continues to wow me, make me laugh hysterically, and also clutch my heart for the emotional aspects that Lily brings with her writing.

This story drops some exquisite bombs that had my jaw dropping and silently screaming over the juiciness! I am seriously in a constant state of shock with this world. Lily continues to keep me on my toes!

Sticking with the same tone as my last review for the previous book, I am going to keep this simple. Since, every book needs to be read in order and I certainly do not want to give away any spoilers. But, Heresy is Shanes book and I loved him and his girl! The trope in here was so good and one that I don’t see executed in an original way that often in my opinion; Bad Boy x Good Girl…but the stand out factor in what Lily did is that the Girl actually has a working brain! Too many times this trope is done and I personally get so frustrated because the Female seems to get the short end of the stick (i.e.: lacks experience, is a virgin, is way too innocent, can never defend herself, lacks common sense, etc, etc….)

The FMC was vulnerable, relatable, caged yet not helpless…I could go on and on. Bottom line, I was impressed with how her character operated. Shane, oh my heart….he’s definitely more than meets the eye and I misjudged him with the first few books.

This series deserves so much recognition in my opinion! Lily is a phenomenal and talented human that brings so much vibrancy into the world of books and I am just honored that I picked up her books. Her writing is carving its presence into my heart ♥️!

I’ve got to start this review by saying I haven’t read any of the previous books in this series and while I loved this one I wish I had so that I would have had more of an understanding of the underlying background story that weaves throughout the Antihero Inferno series as well as knowing the connections between the characters. However I should also add that the author did do a fantastic job providing enough background in Heresy to fill in some of the gaps for me but I still intend to go and download the rest of the series ASAP because if they’re as good as this one… well why wouldn’t I!

When I started reading Heresy the last thing I expected was to find myself laughing but some of the dialogue between Shane and Brinley is wickedly funny especially when bodily functions are being used as insults. I thought I’d choke at that particular scene and what I thought would be a straight forward dark romance became something more . I adored their relationship. It was definitely a case of opposites attracting but somehow they work even if they are a volatile and highly charged pairing. With a suspense laden plot I’m hooked even if slightly confused. I can’t believe I haven’t found these books before now. Lily White, you are one amazing author. Your books are addictive and I can’t wait to read the rest of this gripping series.

I am so, so excited to see Lily Whit back in the publishing game. The long-awaited release of the next book in the Antihero Inferno series is finally out in the wild and I was so stoked to dive in. I do wish I had made the time to go back and re-read the earlier books in the series because I kind of, and by kind of, I mean completely and totally forgot everything that had happened prior and it left me playing catch up on the back story and underlying plot.

Shane, the heretic of the Inferno is brought to his knees by Brinley, an enigma of a girl, who’s looking for any information on her missing father. She finds herself torn between her father’s supposed allies and Shane, who intrigues and infuriates her at every turn. Unbeknownst to Brinley, Shane turned his attention to her to also get to her father and the servers that are allegedly in his possession. However, the more time Shane spends in Brinley’s orbit the less she feels like a job.

I liked this, but I didn’t love it like I remember loving the first three books. I found it to drag for the most part and a bit repetitive in nature. And although this is totally my fault, I really do think this would have benefited from skimming back through the first three books, I never really caught up to what was going on.

Worth the wait! As some of you might not know, Lily White has been battling cancer. So she took time off from writing to concentrate on her health. That's why there is such a long gap between Violence and Heresy. It's because of that long gap that I re-read the series and took notes! This is a complex story with nine men, the women who bring them to their knees, several families and connections still unknown. Many moving parts and it can be easy to lose track of something when your focused on something else.

In Heresy, the plot continues and the focus is on Shane and Brinley who are very much opposites attract. She is not prepared for Shane or the chaos of his world. She has her moments of strength and fights back, but she also is still very much afraid and not sure who she can trust. It's during their time together that we learn even more about what's going on but somehow still not knowing what's going on! It's written in such a way that you can't help but want to keep reading to find out how is all going to come together in the end. This book was a lot less spicy than the first three books, but still just as good. I'm looking forward to Damon's story coming up next.

This is book 4 of a series and it must be read in order. Highly recommended if you like alpha men, mystery, suspense and spice!

Oh my gosh how I missed this series!! I have been in love with the inferno men since the very first book (treachery) and this book was such an amazing installment! You can read these books as standalones but I highly recommend reading them all because they build on each other and have interwoven plots. Shane was everything I needed and more! And I really loved his slow burn romance with Brinley! She was such a great balance for him as a bit of a bookworm who was hiding behind a shell. I loved how they brought down each others wall and protective Shane was oh so swoony! The steam level in this one was perfect and I absolutely loved the ending! And now I just need more of this world ASAP!

HERESY, book 4 in The Antihero Inferno series, by Lily White exceeded my expectation!
I love this series, but have my favorites and am adding Shane's book to that list. Shane will do anything that needs to be done. He may not employ "traditional" methods but he always finds a way. He wasn't what I expected, and I can't fathom why I expected so little from him. I adore Brinley. She's true to herself and never compromises her beliefs! Together, though, these guys are FIRE!

If you've read the previous 3 books, you NEED this now. If you have yet to start then I highly suggest you see to that immediately.
I can not wait to see what's really going on...

I was so looking forward to this book and I can say it was worth the wait! I loved Shane so much more than I expected to. He had such depth and emotion. Him and Brinley together were perfection! She made me laugh with how she dealt with Shane. I loved reconnecting with the gang again and seeing how the girls slotted in to the inferno! Looking forward to Damon’s story next. I must say I’m intrigued by Taylor as I don’t know as much about him as the others, patience is needed as his book is a few along. Overall a really enjoyable book and story. I really love long books and interconnected stories and this is one of the best! Welcome back Lily a fantastic book and I can’t wait to read the next book Anger!

The Inferno Boys are back! Even though it has been a few years in between books, I had no problem picking up where we left off. Lily did an amazing job with Shane and Brinley’s story. We start getting answers to our questions but alas, I have more questions. Highly recommend this series. Must be read in order to get the full story.
