As I said in my previous review, although this series has its missing points, its totally addictive.
This one might be my favorite so far. Slate and Alejandra are just perfect. A Wolf god and a Fae Goddess.

Life is just rules and loneliness for Alej. The arranged marriage with an abusive man is the last drop that sets her running in the forest and away from the evil people that live in the court.
Slate is trapped in his wolf form since he was being captured, tortured and experimented on by the evil angel Gabriel. He hears a calling that cannot be ignored and he finds his mate, a mate that he thought he would never have. With her help he is set free, free to claim her.

They are so hot together this two. He is wild and unapologetic, she is inhibited and restrained, but deep down she wants to be free to express exactly how she feels, and that's what Slate is offering her: to be herself.

I really liked when the other 3 couples come into play. I can't wait for them to all be together. Its gonna be electric.

I still have some issues with the fact that no one knows the original gods, the brothers, I mean, when you are the first, the very first, your name should resonate everywhere you go, especially when you walk the earth for thousands of years. Also, their power should be close to unmatched, but funny, all of them are always captured or beaten up. This is kind of disappointing for such mighty gods. Also,The prophecy makes more sense now... and more players come to light.
I am 90% sure who is the one in the visions, or at least the one that will bring the end of the world, and I cannot wait the last book , which I suppose will be their story.

'Pretty wild' is the fourth book of 'The Fallen Gods' series by k.a. knight. I am so excited for this one!!

My god , this author never manages to shock me with her amazing writing skills!! This story was absolutely fantastic and had me yearning for more by the end! Slate and Alejandra are fire and I loved every word.

Things took a turn for these characters in the previous books. After reading those I knew that we were in for a treat! And clearly Katie did not disappoint me. I rarely read fantasy books now , but this author always surprises me with those twists and turns. These characters have an amazing story , not to mention the steamy scenes.

This book was fire and is highly recommended to all the fantasy romance lovers out there!

"She’s as helpless against this as I am. Something bigger than us is pulling us together."

This series is seriously such a treat. Each brother and their love stories make me feel different emotions and are such quick, and pleasurable read.

If you know me then you know I absolute favorite thing to read about is Faeries! So I was super stoked when I started this book and what do we learn? That Alejandra is high fae!

The romance in this book might be my favorite ( will I ever not say that? Haha) because I feel like Slate and Alejandra balanced each other out. You have a high fae who basically feels trapped and stuck. Unable to live life freely like those who aren’t royal. Slate showed her how to be free, how to live and in exchange she gave him purpose and a life of his own!

And I can’t forget to mention the steam… oh the steam, steam, steam! Katie knows how to write her smut.

alejandra, first of her name, bloom.... i am in love with you and your long ass name. her kind and sympathetic heart just stood out to me, and that’s what i loved most about this book. how she was willing to help those who needed it the most but were pushed aside. out of all the nobles, she had the most purest and noblest heart of them all

Alejandra is a noble fae. Her whole life has been planned out since her birth. Once she hoped the prince could save her, but no. And now it's time to marry and take her place at court. Although she would rather live among the people and help, there's no choice. There are only rules and duty, ambition and lies. But when she's pushed past her breaking point, she flees into the forbidden forest where wild magic and monsters live. And there finds life and love. But the court isn't finished with her yet. And neither is fate.

This was my favorite Fallen God story to date. I loved Alejandra and Slate. I loved that she gave him back his life and he taught her how to live. Slate allowed her the freedom to discover who she was once she stripped away the person she was told to be. Turns out she's a silver badass. Slate and his wildness appealed to me even more than his brothers. This series seems to be gaining momentum with the addition of each brother and their mate. I am eager for more. Time to set our sights on the sun.

3.0 ⭐⭐⭐

This was my least favorite out of the books I have read so far from the series. Not only was it super weird to read bc the FMC has the same name as my sister but I just didn't like it. In this one it just felt force and the story line was just meh. And what is this thing about forgiving the bad guys at the end 😒😒

A SOLID 3.5 STARS!

THIS WAS INTERESTING, AND QUITE ENGAGING. LACED WITH STRENGTH AND SEDUCTION, I RATHER ENJOYED THIS FOR A SUNDAY NIGHT READ. The stories can be read standalone since this is my first book from the author. After pegging this one, I'm curious to read about the other brothers prior to this story.

SLATE is a wolf God, stuck in his beastly form after a cruel Angel experimented on him and now he's stuck. His human half is dissipating day by day, and it's only a matter of time before he lose himself completely. But, one day, after so many centuries does he meet his mate - his saviour. I guess the bad point about the story is how fated mate troupes always lead to insta-love. Usually, I would abhor that but it worked here. Slate was the veritable knight and guardian, I loved how protective and possessive he was towards Alejandra even when she was still a stranger to him. Sadly, I wished the story didn't just end with the Fae Queen's death. Slate's own history was rather interesting and would have made a pretty awesome read if it came back to interfere with their newfound love. Also, I felt that I didn't get to know Slate as well as Alejandra. There's still so many questions marks about who Slate is, what he did, how he became Slate etc etc.

ALEJANDRA is groomed her entire life in a Fae noble household and everything that is expected of her must be of the highest class and quality - refinery in speech, clothes and comportment, food and parties and lastly mates. Alejandra questions the future laid out for her. Did she want a loveless marriage like her parents? And what happens when they've chosen her a completely cruel male to marry? After the last straw, she flees from home and ends up being saved by a shifter wolf who is trapped in his beastly form. By nature, Alejandra's a healer and it's always her first instinct to heal, never to kill. In other words, she's the personification of a lover, not a fighter. Meeting with a raw, earthy male like Slate awakens her desires and she's not hesitant in the least to mate with him, delighting readers with steamy, sex scenes.

OVERALL this story was fairly entertaining and there was a lot of potential that could have been. Maybe the author's just saving it for the other stories since I get a feeling the stories have a similar connection, perhaps? I guess I'll just have to catch up on the previous books to fully understand what's happening in this fictional world.

Dont know why but the first thought i had while starting this book was .. What about their children ? What would a wolf and a fae , or a vanpire and a dragon kid be like ? Any one though about that ? :))
So now that i am at 1/4 of the book , I have to say that the author -for me - have came a long way in terms of plot and writing.. This one is by far the best one out of the four books (second is pretty bloody) and that is because of the seriousness of the buildup and the aniticipation..etc
Another thing i like is the diversity of the plots across the series .. It puts you in a different set .
5 pages before the end and I got my wish, the brothers makes an appearance before the end :)
Overall 4 stars, I really liked this one

MY review on Pretty stormy:
K.A Knight for sure managed to have different moods-sets when writing this series, for this one was different from the last one (which for me was light and funny , this one is more dark and depressing even if they end up having a happy end - which we all know that was happening). i guess that is because even-though Bella had a very tormenting upbringing, we read about it, vs living through it with Mira.
i still don't know why calder is the way he is (I mean being betrayed doesn't make you mean), also sometimes i felt like he should act his age (hundred and thousand of years old)
Overall it was a good read, definitely got me interested in Blaise's story .
what i would like is to see the brothers -at least those who meet again - takes a bigger part in the next books (i mean no need to meet in the last page of every book, there presence would definitely add to the dynamics of the stories and i sure would like to see more brother-bonding )

It's the latest book in The Fallen Gods series. This time we follow the story of Alejandra and Slate and it's a great follow on from the previous books in the series, but I'd definitely recommend reading those first.

Alejandra is lost in the world she is in, surrounded by snooty Fae who look down at everyone who they believe to be below them. But Alejandra isn't like that, she wants to help everyone, no matter their circumstances. When she runs from the life set out before her she ends up running into Slate, one of the seven brothers. Stuck in his wolf form and losing more of his humanity with every day that passes will he ever be able to walk on two legs again or will he be stuck in his wolf form for eternity.

I really enjoyed the flow of this book, as well as the development of both main characters. We find out a lot about them, their pasts, and even what they believe their futures may hold. There are interesting side characters throughout the story and I absolutely loved Cook, she was so sweet and there was a really touching moment between Alejandra and Cook.

We are starting to find out more and more about the big bad in this series and I'm enjoying reading the direction the story is going in. The added fact that at the end of each book the brothers and their newfound mates are reunited with their ever-growing group! I'm really excited to see what happens in the next story after the brief glimpse we get of the next brother!

Mishal stole my heart in Pretty Painful but Slate? He owns my soul. I absolutely love him.
.
Slate and Alejandra went through some hell in this book. Both battling trials individually, both seeking something neither thought they would get and gained so much more when they came out the other side stronger together and individually.
.
This was more emotional in my opinion than the other books in the series. More hard hitting in that we can relate to both characters and what they long for whether it’s freedom, love or acceptance, we have all been there. I have loved the series so far and this book took it to another level.
.
The plot gets better and better, more action, more suspense and anticipation and a love story that pulls at the heart strings. Amazing characters, easy to read and a page turner. The world building isn’t his is incredible. So much vivid detail and clarity which makes it easier to picture and get lost in. New and intriguing twists on fae and werewolves which I love.
.
I love how at the end of every book we see the couples reunite with their brothers and mates, it’s interesting and fascinating watching as they interact and reconnect. Add in their mates and it’s a whole new dynamic. I’d love to see more of them together as a group. I have no doubt Katie is going to blow us away with that.
.
Amazing dark PNR read filled with thrills, heartache, misery, longing, pain and so much more. I cannot wait to see where Katie takes the next book.

So I’m not too big on fae, but Katie managed to keep me interest between the steam, drama, characters, and magic. Like the rest of the books in this series, there are trigger warnings for dark themes. I think this was the most emotional story so far and I love how Katie can write all of the feels and make you connect with the characters!
Alejandra wishes she could live her life the way she wants to. She was born out of obligation and her life has been planned for her before she could even talk. As a high fae, there are expectations and responsibilities of her and her mother never lets her forget them. Slate is stuck in his wolf state and his humanity slips more each day. He roams the Forbidden Forest with monsters and magic roam. Fate brings them together within the forest and their emotional story begins. I really loved how well these two balanced each other out and healed one another. I feel like both Alejandra and Slate grew so much in the book.
I was getting some Beauty and the Beast vibes in this book mixed with fae for this dark and twisted tale. The descriptions of the Forbidden Forest were so vivid and unique. I loved seeing Bella and Mira again and I can’t wait to read Kyro’s story next!

This is the 4th book in this series and I fell in love all over again. I would say that this series is steadily growing to be my favorite because all of the stories are different versions of love. Some you are going to like more then others but one thing you cannot look over is the love these characters feel for each other.

In this book we follow Slate and Alejandra. Slate is the 4th brother, the wolf god. Both characters are coming from a life of pain but pain in different ways. Slates is more physical where Alejandra's is more mental. Seeing these two characters come together is a thing of sweet sweet beauty. This romance is more of a genial caress (leaving you wanting more) then a fast and hot burn.

Alejandra shows you with each chapter that being strong does not always mean physical and all actions have a reaction that you are in charge of. As for Slate that piece of man meat is delectable and his compaction and understanding for his mate is unparalleled.

I cant wait to dive into the next book to see what kind of love the next brother holds.

I advise you to GET THIS NOW! :)

4.5 out of 5 stars

The latest book in the Fallen Gods series, Pretty Wild, will make you fall more and more in love with these characters. They are all very dynamic and leave you with a sense of knowing each and every one of them. As this seven book series continues, you will see old characters while also adding new ones that fit in quite well with each other.

In this book we find Alejandra, lost in the world she doesn’t feel she belongs in. Being on court gives her responsibilities she must uphold for the future of the community. When running for her life one night, she finds herself running into a wolf. Everything starts to unravel and she is thrust into the truth of who she is and what she is meant to do.

Will she make the right choice for herself or stick with what she has a duty to do?

This book is a great continuation; every book pushes you more and more into the world that K.A. Knight has created. Will you go on this journey to save the world from impending threats? This book is a fast-paced read that will keep you on your toes with what may happen next!

I Give this Book 4/5 Star Rating

HEA(?): Yes
Relationship Type: MF
Pacing: Pretty steady, a good flow.
Drama: 3.5/5
Suspense: 3-3.5/5
Heat: 3/5
Romance: 3.5/5
I Will Not Spoil This Book.
To me this is definitely the best out of the series so far. With it having a good flow from the start, it was easy to stay with the story and the drama fit very well within the story, that you just HAD to keep reading. The story may be short, but is well worth it.
You definitely need to read the previous books (IN ORDER) cause there are Easter eggs within each book which connects to something in the next book of this series.
I loved Slate & Alejandra they were perfect for each other! Loved how Alejandra found her strength, and also how she was able to make her own choice.
I most definitely look forward to the next book!

All the feels!

I know I said it with the previous book but this one is my new favorite...the stereotype of society, being made to conform to what everyone else deems is appropriate and expected...my heart broke for Alej being forced into that cage of fake ness! This whole book was a rollercoaster of emotions, and it made you feel every emotion along the way! And poor Slate, I wanted to just reach in and hug him through all him pain and loneliness he was forced to endure through his years trapped. I just wanted to tell him it would be ok! Not sure I ever had my heart break as hard for a hero before, but he’s definitely my new favorite! Not sure anyone will surpass him! Now...I’m going to go attempt some patience while I wait for Cass and Kyro’s book...hahaha yea right, I have no patience, I’ll just be tapping my foot while I wait! Lol

I’m just in love. I have always loved wolves, always, and this one wow. He just sounds so sexy his voice, his growling etc, it just sounds sexy. I loved reading Slates and Alejandras story. It was filled with action, magic, and so much love. I enjoyed every minute of it. This book, filled with all the different creatures and fae just seemed like something out of the ordinary, and I just loved it. I hated the royal fae in the story, just despised them because of how they were in all ways and how mean they were to Alejandra, especially the guy she was supposed to marry. He was the devil, just hated him. As I keep reading this series of the gods I learn more and more about what happened to them all and why they separated from one another, and it is just sad, so sad. I can’t wait for the next book I’m anxious to get to the end of the series I want to know what the huge threat is.

Slate and Alejandra’s story is my favorite so far in The Fallen God series, but I’m a sucker for anything with a werewolf or High Fae, so that’s not a surprise.

The books in this series are quick reads, but Katie doesn’t sacrifice the characters in order to make that happen. I felt like this one, most of all, had great character development and genuinely let you feel alongside Slate and Alejandro, their pain, the pressures on them, their love, all of it.

Katie is a queen of steam, and she certainly didn’t hold back with this book! I did feel that this one allowed for a bit more in the romance department than the previous book in the series. And each time we get to revisit the brothers and their partners, my heart grows about 10 sizes! I cannot wait for the next one in this fun series!

This one was great! I know all of the books in the series are pretty dark in their own way but this one was darker for me. Especially the beginning. The other books our couples met almost immediately. Our couple didn't meet until after a third of the book.

Shifter romances have always been one of my favorite kinds of stories. I love a wolf hero, they're so wild and rough, they tend to be breeding focused stories, which are V hot. Slate is possessive and I loved how sweet he was to her. So far, all of the men have been rough and mean, not just when it comes to sex. Which is fine, if you're into that. Slate, however was sweet and playful 100% of the time with our h. And was only rough when his wolf came out for a rut. Our last H, Calder, was mean a lot of his book so it was nice to have Slate be so caring and protective, cuddly.

For me, the first part of this book was eh but to be honest prologues aren't really my thing. I find that I keep searching them out in the books when I read them so I miss stuff. Anyway after all that goodness I totally effing loved it. Shifters are my jam. I love that the female character isn't some little damsel in distress but the wolf is super badass too. All the trauma he goes through for her is just...swoon I wish there were guys like that in RL. I honestly look forward to the end so that I can read about the brothers and their mates meeting up. That is what I like the most but Slate and Alejandra's story is definitely one you won't want to put down.

Oh my, this book was fantastic! This entire series is just so entertaining! I love how diverse and unique each book is while still being tied to each other and each brother we've met also has a distinct personality - they all have one thing in common, amazing mates who challenge them all to be the best versions of themselves. I love it. I really loved this book's couple and the journey they went on. A noble fae trapped in a life she does not want and a god trapped in his wolf form, hidden from the world, when their lives collide, their real journey begins. I absolutely loved the growth and change we saw in both Slate and Alejandra as they faced challenges head on. This was an awesome read with the perfect balance of drama, steam and action to keep you wanting more!

I'm pretty sure that K.A Knight is a witch. Or maybe a Fae. Sorceress? Because when she sits down and starts typing - magic flows. She has the enviable ability to always pull you into her stories. She is able to get you fully invested, to fall in love with her characters, and to make you have all the feels.

Pretty Wild is the latest in the Fallen Gods series - and I thought it was excellent. Fae, gods, wolves and monsters - a powerful FMC, unique story line and smoking hot bedroom scenes...what more could you want?

Highly recommended, very much looking forward to the next masterpiece this goddess of writing puts out for us thirsty fans ❤

Love this Series. Although I think this is my favourite book in this series... so far. KA Knight will always change my mind with the next book she produces.
Alejandra is blessed with the luxuries of Life, Unfortunately none of those luxuries is what she really wants. She wants the freedom to help those in desperate need, But she is restricted by her families expectations of how a proper high noble should speak and act.
Slate is trapped inside himself, a cage not of his making, but one he endures. making a home in the dark Forest, Killing those who seek him harm.
This is a brilliant story and I Cannot wait to see where Kyro's Story takes him.

Wow!!! Everytime I think I have a favorite in this series, the next one comes out. I enjoy very much how each one of the series centers on one brother. This series really does just keep getting better and better.

So here in Pretty Wild we have Slate and Alejandra, and what a combination these two are. Each one is just so broken in their own way, then finding each other and how they are both trying to fight their pasts. I was all for it. Watching them fight it on their own and together just had me so focused on them I could not get anything done. Well Done K.A. and I cannot wait for more.

God this series has me so caught up it's not even funny!

Just when I think I think another one of the gods can't get to me they just do.

Slate the wolf and Alejandra the goddess fae are a match made in heaven.

Bound to his wolf form and forced to follow her courts orders they come together and break free of both their chains.

How Katie has come up with each couple to match so perfectly, having their own story of coming together but also intertwining each of them into a bigger sorry just amazes me.

Another amazing book and would definitely recommend

I so enjoy seeing this world expand. Each story is special in its own right. This one in particular was an amazing read. It had a depth and layers that offered such raw and gut wrenching emotional journey I’ll never forget. It’s a little different than the rest of the series but in the best way. The female main character is astounding and so beautifully crafted. We get to know her on such a way I felt like I was in her shoes. I absolutely loved seeing both their paths entwine. It moves forward well and kept me on the edge of my seat. Holding my breath for the next installment.

I loved book four.
Giant wolf God shifter? Ah, yes please.
Another wonderful tale of love in this great series of books. I loved that the brothers and mates we have already met were more involved with this book too. I'm so looking forward to meeting the next brother and seeing where this story is going to lead.
Alejandra is fleeing for her life after escaping from the brutal and corrupt court of the Fae, Slate rescues her and they are so adorable together. Ups and downs and love triumphant, if you haven't started this series yet, what are you waiting for?

Loving this series

This is a series that starts high and ascends to greater heights with each release! In this book we meet Alejandra (high born fae) and Slate (wolf god). Each is trapped by expectations or circumstances from which they are desperate to escape. The storyline flows effortlessly from beginning to end, and I love that the gods & their mates that we met in previous books are reintroduced for the final scenes.

I am so looking forward to the next book in this world.

Pretty Wild:
Book 4 of the Fallen God books

Pretty Wild definitely does not disappoint.  I can't decide now which is my favorite in the series they're all so good. It seems like every time the next one comes out that becomes my favorite 😀 It has a dark and steamy element but in just the right way. Once I started reading it was so fast-paced and intriguing I could not put the book down. To go from such trauma and then work through it all and have a happy ending is awesome. Definitely recommend reading.
