CURVY HEROINE AND HOT MOUNTAIN BUSH PILOT IN FISH OUT OF WATER, SHORT AND STEAMY ROMANCE.
ADA
When I came to Frontier, Alaska, I thought I was prepared for the hardships I’d face providing medical care to the surrounding remote villages. As an outsider from the lower forty-eight, I’m met with uncertainty and suspicion by some of the residents. With the help of a handsome pilot, we work to try and find a way to help me gain their trust, otherwise what reason do I have to stay?
THAYER
Flying has been my one and only love, that is until the new doc stepped onto my plane. The more I get to know her, the deeper I fall. But when I hear that she may have plans to leave, I’m determined to convince her to stay, not only for the villages that need her, but for me too.

Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read! Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.
Ada Forrester is the new doctor in the clinic in Frontier, but provides care for many surrounding remote villages like Nanook, but the people still feel unsure about her and she’s not sure she will ever fit in. Six months ago, Dr. Hansen, Frontier's resident doctor for 30 years, had a heart attack and didn’t survive. In this isolated area, they had to fill that position immediately. But it would take a long time for her to get more than one-word responses and maybe a smile or two. But as Thayer Brooks wisely pointed out, she would have to earn their respect – it wouldn’t be handed out just because she wore a white doctor’s jacket and stethoscope.
One of the emergency calls Ada handled was to save the life (and leg) of a wounded hunter who had lost a great deal of blood. She was able to stabilize him so that he was capable of being transported, and Thayer flew him to a hospital. When they got the call that he made it through surgery and Ada’s competent skills had saved his leg, the two of them were carried away with the joy of saving a life and their feelings for each other finally erupted. He knew there would never be anyone else for him.
But when Ada came to the hanger, she overheard Thayer’s conversation with another pilot, saying he was doing to get rid of her. Her misunderstanding was enough to make her run away and break things off with him. Thayer didn’t understand her anger or what she was talking about! Will she calm down and explain what she thought he was saying? Will she listen to him tell her his real intentions?
This was a short but heart-felt story about a new doctor trying to fit in and belong. Grab your copy and see if she gets what she desires most!
THAYER is the first book in the ALASKAN MOUNTAIN BUSH PILOTS series and is the story of Thayer Brooks and Ada Forrester. Ada has moved to Frontier, Alaska, population about 500 people and colder than a "witches teet" in the winter. She moved from Portland, Oregon after feeling like she was on a hamster wheel and there was no way to get off. When an old friend from met school told her about Frontier needing a new doctor, as six months previous Dr. Hansen had died from a massive heart attack, she jumped at the position. She not only looks after the town but also the small towns and villages around them for everything and anything. Thayer is thirty-two years old and is a bush pilot who flies for the family business, Brooks Alaska Air based in Frontier. He was born and raised in Frontier where his father and younger sister, Piper, live and also work in the business. Ever since Ada started work she has had Thayer fly her into and out of the various villages and communities to see patients or for emergencies. During that time he has watched her and is very attracted to her. But he has not made a move yet, even though he knows he is going to have to before someone else does.
This is a charming story with some action, mystery, adventure, romance, community, family and some hot and sizzling chemistry which will melt the snow. Plus add in great characters, especially Piper who is all sorts of crazy and fun. This is an every enjoyable short story and I look forward to reading the next in the series.
Thayer is the first book in Lana Dash’s Alaska Mountain Bush Pilots series. In this book we meet Ada Forrester, a doctor, and Thayer Brooks, a bush pilot. Set in the remote area of Frontier, Alaska, they work together bringing medical attention and supplies to isolated and remote communities. At first glance, these two would never be thought of as a couple. He is buff and she is a curvy woman. But, when Destiny decides to intervene sparks fly.
Ms. Dash penned a heart-felt short story with captivating characters. I enjoyed how she wove a two-prong plot line together. One prong, the obvious one, is the romance plot-boy meets girl. The second prong focuses on Ada facing the challenge of replacing a long-time and treasured doctor into this tightly knit community. It is the outsider versus the insiders. I enjoyed Ms. Dash’s use of descriptive language to paint vivid scenes that helped to create a little tension in the story.
This is my first Lana Dash book and I really enjoyed it. Ada is the new doctor in Frontier Alaska, she hasn’t quite been accepted by the locals yet. Thayer is the bush pilot who takes her to the remote towns when she is needed. The two are very attracted to one another but neither makes a move. After stabilizing a man with a particularly grave injury Thayer flies them to the larger hospital. When Ada finds out the man will be ok she is very happy. In their excitement the two give into their attraction. After spending a steamy night together Ada unfortunately has to go into the office to see a patient. During a lull she heads over to see Thayer, she over hears something that upsets her but before she can process it she is called to another medical emergency. Afterwards she confronts Thayer who is confused until they figure out she misunderstood. Cute epilogue with an engagement.

Thayer is a bush pilot who transports goods and people to more remote villages in Alaska. Ada, was a doctor who had moved to the area from Portland, Oregon a few months ago and was still trying to fit in with the people. She was compassionate and friendly and people were very slowly becoming friendly. She and Thayer has started developing feelings for one another and after an emergency flight Ada and Thayer passionately celebrate saving a life. Will a conversation that Ada overhears ruin her happiness with Thayer? Will the people come to accept Ada as the new doctor?
I enjoyed the cute, short story. It was nice to read about what it was like in Alaska.

This was a fun little romantic read that could be finished in around a hour. A young female doctor took over the duties of an Alaskan bush doctor after the previous one of thirty years died of heart attack. Ada lived in Frontier and Thayer would fly her into the more remote villages. Thayer and Ada had an instant attraction to each other, but it took them some time to act on the attraction. Ada did not feel like she fit into the area for the longest time, but with Thayer's encouragement and Ada's persistence things soon started to turn around. Of course Ada was always a good sport to try new things. Highly recommend this book.

A great new series about Alaska, the Bush Pilots that are vital to the residents, and the difficulties of newcomers to fit in and be accepted within a tight-knit community. Thayer is a bush pilot and Ada is the new doctor that is replacing the former doctor of 30 years after he had not survived a major heart attack. I really liked the originality of the storyline and the insights into what it takes to be considered a true resident of Alaska by those already living there. I am looking forward to reading more about these intrepid individuals and their efforts to find a HEA in this remote and beautiful forty-ninth state!

THAYER is the first book in the ALASKAN MOUNTAIN BUSH PILOTS by Lana Dash and I really enjoyed it. Ada and Thayer were simply amazing together. Ada is the new doctor in Frontier, Alaska and she has become quite smitten with Thayer, a pilot. Thayer has definitely fallen for Ada but after a amazing night with him, Ada is crushed when she overhears a conversation between Thayer and Mercer. Will a misunderstanding tear them apart? I loved the relationship between Thayer and his sister Piper and I am hoping we get her story next.
If you like strong men with a twist of the Alaskan wilderness than this series will steal your heart from page of Thayer.
Thayer is a great story of love, caring, and passion with side of action and adventure. Ada is a new doctor to the area, she gives of herself with out a thought. When she catches the eye of the Thayer there is nothing he would not do for her.
This fast story stole my heart and I am excited to read the rest of the series.

Good, quick, steamy short story. If you enjoy quick instalove stories, then this is the story for you. It took me around an hour to ready. Thayer is a bush pilot in Alaska and Ada is the new town doc. Thayer has a thing for Ada but hasn’t found the right time to ask her out. Ada has been crushing on Thayer but she’s also trying to fit in and gain acceptance of the town residents, but the old docs widow is making things tough for her.

Exciting and fun and sexy and warm and lighthearted! I cannot say enough good things about this story. Ada is a strong, determined, compassionate woman, brave for heading out to the Alaska frontier to practice medicine. Thayer is passionate, caring, sexy, and utterly smitten by the new doctor. Together they are wonderful! Very much looking forward to others in this series!

Thayer is a bush pilot in Alaska. Ada is the doctor who took over when the other doctor dies unexpectedly. The town's people are still getting used to her. Both are attracted to the other but will not tell the other one. When they finally get together, their chemistry is explosive. However, everything is not as it seems when Ada overhears Thayer talking to another pilot. The story is sweet and short. There is enough action and steam to keep your attention.
A fast pace and well written book one in the Alaskan Mountain Bush Pilots series. The storyline is engaging, witty, funny, drama-filled, and enjoyable. The characters are likeable and the chemistry is intense and off the charts. A very exciting read.

A fantastic start to this series. The story flows well, the characters are engaging and have sizzling chemistry. Their romance is sweet and the story will hold your attention all the way through. I am looking forward to see where this series will go. A quick and steamy read.
Oh, I can tell I’m going to love this series. I could picture the Alaskan wilderness and feel the snow and wind in my face, and not to mention the cold. Thayer and Ada develop sort of a friendship before they take their relationship physical and it’s explosive. I enjoyed the story and the side characters as well that I’m excited to see what may be coming next.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Thayer and Ada. She's the new doctor in Frontier and he's a bush pilot. They both are working together saving lives and getting closer on a personal level. Great HEA.

Ada is the new doctor of rural Alaksa. Thayer is the Bush pilot that flies her to different villages and to the hospital in case of emergencies. They are both in love with each other, but not able to say it. There are some tense moments in this book, but they have a happy ending. Loved it!
Lana Dash knows how to turn up the steam and how to do it in a short amount of time. The chemistry and plotline where well written, but I would have liked to have seen a bit more in depth of a story between Ada and Thayer. But the story did make me want to seek out Frontier, Alaska.

She needed a change and when the Dr passed away there was an opening. He got her around the area that she take care as the only Dr. They both were attractive to each other from the start but neither did anything. He came close a couple of times and she finally(lol) jumped him after a successful procedure. A misunderstanding and a birth if a baby and all is good.
From the moment Ada set her eyes on Thayer, she could not look away, but the same goes for him. There is lots of heat with some drama but a HEA for them. I enjoyed reading this well thought out book with enjoyable characters and I loved piper, what a sassy gal.

Really enjoyed this. First time reading Lana Dash. Can't wait to read more. Fell in love with Thayer and Ada. They're awesome characters together. Awesome chemistry, and connection between them. This story has action-adventure, sweetness, steam, and romance. I definitely recommend.
For me, lover of quickie reads, this story gave me whiplash. It was like instantly she jumped in his arms. Later on it is explained that she figured it was time to make a move. Would have been better to say that right off. Confusing. Not a smooth read.
This was such a good book. Thayer and Ada worked closely together even though she was a doctor and he was a pilot. Enjoyed the descriptions of the villages, the flights and the people. Written by Cindy :)
I loved the characters. I loved the laughs it gave me. I loved the intensity of the environment. I'm thinking that if this story is any indication then this is going to be a great series of books.
