Dad’s best friend and age-gap books are my weakness. If it has either of those tropes I MUST read it.
While the whole idea was hot, the book was a little too short for my tastes. Drew and Kennedy got together by the second chapter or so? A little too fast in my opinion. I need the anticipation, at least a little bit, and there basically was none. It feels hotter for me if there is at least a tiny bit of resistance from one of the characters.
There was still a lotttt of sex. Drew and Kennedy spent most of the book in some sort of sexual act. And hey, that’s fine by me.
The end was over pretty quickly and ended up in a nice happily ever after sort of situation. All in all, it was a decent read.

It was an ok novella.
Nothing spectacular, but it reads well and it gives you a low stakes dad's best friend romance.
The FMC is young, but does not come off as childish. Even the background characters seem to have interesting stories, so I may go back to this series at one point.

Another awesome summer beach read for the Haven Cove !! Kennedy Cabot is the event coordinator this summer and the BIG BIG event is a charity fundraiser for her dads best friend Drew Harrington. Drew is just getting over a divorce BUT has always had eyes for Kennedy .. Yes you read it right .. Drew has it bad for Kennedy .. he could be her father .. BUT she has her eyes set on him too !! I love this story so much that I didn't want it to end! Haven Cove has a lot going on for it being a small town. Lol. Kennedy is brazen. She is young, smart, funny and sassy. She knows what she wants and have no problem getting what she wants. I love her honesty and straightforward. She has a crush on her dad's best friend. Drew is Kennedy dad's best friend. He is sweet, charming, sexy and smart. He have feelings for Kennedy but don't want to act on them. I have not read from Lola before so this is my first time. She did an amazing job on her writing. I got right into it. If you're looking for an age gap romance this is the one for you. Amazing work Lola Finn!

Lola Finn’s Haven Cove series is amazing. This is the second book I’ve read and I love it almost as much as the first one Addictive. The chemistry between Kennedy and her father’s best friend Drew is white hot and will literally make your panties melt! Their banter together is just as sexy as their text messages and phone calls. Super steamy and super fun, you’ve got to read this book. The bonus is the glimpses we see of Knox and Leighton from Addictive!

A bit naughty, a bit taboo, a whole bunch of heart!

I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major characters, but the minor ones too.

Another great quick HOT read in this series. Kennedy loves working at the family resort and has a mad crush on her dads best friend,Drew. When Drew starts feeling the same way and acting on his feelings all bets are off. This two have off the wall chemistry and take advantage of every alone time they have. I am really enjoying this series. I love the fast paced writing style and the banter is hysterical. I look Forward to reading more books by this author and seeing what happens next in this series!

This is Drew and Kennedy’s story. Kennedy is Knox’s sister, and Drew is her dad’s best friend. Kennedy has wanted Drew for years, but he has always ensured that he kept his distance. Can they keep seeing each other in secret, or is someone going to find out? This is a well written story which has intrigue, family, secrets, emotions, tension, drama, challenges, off the chart’s chemistry, drama, a shrew of an ex-wife, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend.

Ok the spice is like a 10, this just made me realize that I need more in a book than just spice. I do wish this would have explored Kennedy and Drew’s relationship a little bit more. I would have liked chapters like the when they went to town for the fish or the sweet chapters where Drew confessed his love for Kennedy to her dad that being said the spice was chefs kiss.

characters are very likeable, well written and a goodstoryline. An nice read for a lovely evening. You do not need to read the others in this series but it does come in handy
