Brilliant read, didn't want to put it down...... Hoping for a sequel !!!???

Recommended for any crime fiction fans, being a Salfordian I found it an interesting read and the location drew me to the book. No matter the location though, it grips you. Very well written. First time I have read anything by this author but will look into any others.

Took a few chapters to get going but I enjoyed it all the same.. will definitely read more from the same author.. I hope the next book is a follow on from this one as I’d like to know what happens to the characters… a very easy read, nice referencing to areas local to me.. makes a change to put Macclesfield on the map!

Decent caper

The book began well with a failed ‘hit’ which led to another later in the book. The criminals seemed rounded but behaved a lot younger than their age. The police procedural was informed but unnecessary. Despite some good interplay, the relationship in the story was hard to believe and the ending rushed and unsatisfactory - the book actually just ended and I thought I’d missed something. Some good parts and worth a read.
