When Shadows Fracture.
This book is going to take you on a rollercoaster of emotions, it has ups and downs, and you’re going to love it.
The book starts when we left off, just this time is Jesse’s POV, I was totally dying to get on his head since book one, because let’s be honest, there’s this mystery surrounding him and his family.
I got to see Fallon with other eyes as well, last book, I must admit I was hard for me to connect with her, something just didn’t click, but in this one, I just wanted to hug her, and tell her that I was so damn proud of her, and her fight.
Jesse on the other hand, had me half the time wanting to slap some sense into him, and the other part just wanted to hug him and tell him that it was ok not to have all the answers, because he is just a kid, and he’s growing.
There were moments when I felt so frustrated and stressed, and then I remember they are not adults, they are high school kids, and are literally are trying to survive this the best way they are able to, in those moments I just felt so connected to them, because no one has their life figure it out at that age.
Things I loved, CASON, that guy is just in my heart, my mind, and I just want him to be happy, I will admit I got a little mad at him at the beginning but then he made up for it. I’m still waiting for his book.
I felt like I needed a little bit more of Jade, God, I love that girl. She is strong headed, and is going to give us surprises as the time passes.
I love that I got to see Jesse on his week state, because I can feel that everything he was put through in this book, it’s going to make him stronger in the third book, I got to see him being human, and vulnerable, and I love it.
Fallon, as I said before, was my surprise, that girl is so damn strong, I got to see her character development in this book, I just love her and respect her more.
I mean I was dying by the end of the book, and then, Callie drop a major bomb on us, and I literally screamed, because one I didn’t see it coming, and two, that is going to make book three a lot more intriguing.
The very end had me mad, at first, but I can understand why it ended the way it did, it showed that even though Jesse and Fallon haven’t been together long, they love each other madly, and it was showed in multiples occasions.
Loved the flashbacks, and the romantic scenes.
There are characters I don’t totally love and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone in this one, Jesse’s Dad, Marcus and Jason are at the top of my list right now.
So, that’s basically me reviewing this book.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
