okay for starters i just want to say thank you to everyone who voted on my poll and for those who chose this one bc deep down i wanted to do a review for this one most of all!! the results were shocking like i can’t believe one dark window made it that far but i'm excited to do those reviews next and for those of you who really wanted me to do a review for the predator dw i didn’t forget i will do that one right after i finish the stolen heir and one dark window <3
ik this isn't the book for this review but my other isn't showing up so I decided to write my review here instead.
i loved loved loved this book! omg like if i could tattoo this book on my heart word for word i would! the two of them make my heart go boom boom! this humor filled heartbreaking bittersweet romance had me glued to every page and somehow it was even better the second reread!! I just want to thank kendyl for her addicting updates that prompted me to read it again! 😘 I love all of these characters sm and i don't think i will ever be the same again! I feel like once u start this series there will always be a before you and an after you. And i've said this before that i don’t like sad books bc one they don’t keep my attention and i spend more time crying over them but i feel like this is the only series that makes me enjoy crying my eyes out and smiling all in one! 🥲The confidence from each of the characters is astonishing. never have i read a series where all the characters have sm love for each other! but i'm always looking forward to seeing whatever tidbits i can get from them in the future books—along w/ their future book ADORING 13!!!🤭🤍

She is such a queen! the way she branched out and stood up for herself, johnny, and her brothers was literally one of the best highlights of this whole book! I loved how she just ignored everyone and tuned everything out and just focused on being w/ johnny. like out everything she’s been through she kept going with her head held up high and i admire that and she’s such an inspiration!!

Talk about high standards like everyone needs to get themselves a guy like johnny! Someone whose smart, funny, handsome, and will always stick up for you no matter what! Like he even felt guilty after what happened with her parents even after hating them for what they did to shannon and it was such a heartbreaking scene but just goes to show u that he was prepared to go back for her despite what happened in the past. even with that happening he still found some way to help bring her family together by doing things like building a treehouse with his friends for her brothers. And i will forever love him.❤ He is just so dedicated to everything like i aspire to be like him bc he makes time when there isn’t and he's just perfect!

He is such a carebear 🧸so cute, cuddly, and funny!! I love him sm! 😍 I realized the day after i finished this book again that gibsie is my favorite character. His presence is inviting and so uplifting. I have started to read his book and ik he has a dark past and my heart goes out to him but i admire him for also holding his head up!! And his bromance with johnny has my heart too!! I love gibsie the most of the most tho <3

she is such an icon too! Ik she is going to slay in her book w/ gibsie! The two of them are so cute like having kittens together is like the cutest thing ever im gonna die of cuteness!! and i love the way she sticks up for shannon against her brother, such a true friend! 💗

absolute snake! I do not like her at al! The way she insulted gibsie countless times was so uncalled for and when she found out about his learning disbabilites and was like im sorry but clearly she wasn’t if she kept doing it again and again so im definitely not looking forward to reading about her in gibsie and claire’s book

The parents are trash! Even with the ending i still don’t like them after everything they did to those kids! But i loved the brothers especially ollie when he called people by the cute nicknames he made up for them (dellie, onny, and oeee 😭) and tadhg and gibsie are the funniest pair ever ik theyre gonna get into it in the future book (crossing fingers for a tadhg book 🤞) and sean’s obsession with finding about shannon and johnny’s relationship and them having to explain it was just to funny like i loved how humorous and entertaining they all were once the ended up in johnny’s house. And joey will always have my heart too bc he is such a trooper like ive read all his books and still to this day i cry sm bc he's passionate and caring and was literally ready to die each and every day for his siblings no matter what so even tho he went down a dark path i feel like each of them all made each other better in their own ways and brought their family closer together!!

The parents are angels! I don’t think ive read ever in a book about two ppl like them willing to be so gracious and loving and accept ppl who they don’t really know into their home and feed, clothe, and give them a roof over their head! and mr. kavanagh putting the principal in his place omg talk about power moves especially when dude told him how quick he was to call the cops on joey instead of trying to resolve the problems with the BULLY bella! I can practically smell the favoritism hanging around bella and cormac! They really brought sm love to shannon and her family and im just so happy that they’re all happy and i genuinely feel that this is the best ending for their book they couldn’t have done it better!

I absolutely love her sm! She definitely ranks somewhere in the top 5 of my fav characters from this series! Like i love how she was brought in to this hectic environment and just brought sm empowering energy! She didn’t really know shannon and all the ppl there yet she was ready to fight everyone for joey and shannon no matter what and possibly even go to jail! Like her fighting bella to stand up for shannon and then bella was like im a victim girl get the tf out! a wise person once said “don’t piss on my back and tell me it’s raining.” no wonder johnny didn’t want you! he only wants to be with the best of the best aka shannon! I will have to say that the fight between her and bella is probably one of my top 3 fav scenes out of this whole series bc she was such an inspiration too!

Hughie has always intrigued me and i feel like i never get enough details about him when they mention him so im glad i can read more about him in gibsie and claire’s book. And feely is mentioned so little its like when are we gonna get more about him too!

I recently saw somewhere on gr about a mention of another johnny and shannon book called adoring 13 and possibly one for hughie and lizzie too (but im not a lizzie fan so i would mainly read it for hughie) so im definitely looking forward to just seeing whats next for them bc i could have sworn he mentioned something about bringing her w/ him when he goes away for rugby!!! 🤭🤭🤭

never has a series changed my life and perspective sm! but this one is my favorite bc it shows that anything is possible if you keep trying and the romance between shannon and johnny is the perfect example! they will always be my favorite couple in the series and i will most definitely be on the lookout for their next adventure!!! xoxo

Historia de Cil 2 de Oleg siendo todavía más maravillosa, me está flipando esta saga 10/10
De Edén al paraíso de Atlas es una maravillosa cómica y reflexiva sobre la maldita sociedad en una ciencia ficción. Muy cortita y muy recomendada 9/10 (porque me la leí muy al inicio y había algunos detalles que solucionar, por lo que 10/10)

3'75 me ha gustado bastante, este relato sáfico navideño. Si que es verdad que he sentido la historia que iba bastante rápido los eventos para mí gusto y que aún así había bastantes elementos que hubiera estado bien que hubieran sido desarrollados con más calma con el fin de ver cómo evoluciona la historia. O más bien si no hubieran estado ya que he sentido que estaban más de relleno de la trama, aún si tienen importancia para el desarrollo de Elena de cara a confesar sus sentimientos.
Si que es verdad que el final se queda muy rápido de hacer y dejar bonito y la verdad que hubiera estado bien que hubiera habido más tiempo de cara a resolver el problema, o que incluso hubiera habido un epílogo.
Los diálogos también es verdad que se me quedan un poco excesivos y a veces que se puede confundir cuando esta hablando un personaje u otro.
He de reconocer que los amigos y compañeros de Elena me ha gustado bastante ver su relación como tratan de ayudarla (y con los que he sentido que tienen mayor importancia que su propia familia, aún si la prota dice que también quiere a su familia a pesar de verlos 1 vez al año)
Creo que hay aspectos mejorables, que intenta abarcar muchas cosas al mismo tiempo pero a la vez pasan muy rápido y que tal vez hubiera sido necesario más calma para según que escenas

Using this as a placeholder for The Bonemaster's Lullaby by H.J. Nelson. So lucky to be one of the first people to read it, and omg if it doesn't get published I might actually cry because this book is amazing and I need the world to read it. I also want a SEQUEL ASAP. Beautifully written, full of plot twists, and I will NEVER recover. The ending has made me go into shock.
