Action packed, with Rochelle's signature wit and steam🔥
I was waiting for this book to arrive and it was absolutely worth it!! The wicked cliffhanger in the end of the last book leaves the readers hungry for more. More mystery, more blood, more vengeance, more sex and more emotions. And suffice to say, the author delivered everything. I think Sydelle described it best :
It’s like a fairy tale…with sex, blood, and dismemberment!
There's a lot going on in this book from Victor's mysterious and somewhat nefarious reasons for bringing Syd to Eden, the brewing war between Angels and Demons and the increasing threat to humans. Not to mention whatever the Council and the Tribunal are hiding. Will Syd, with her hot bod Champions, be able to conquer all that? And if so, how?
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it has left me wanting more (I am talking about Grazi and her harem here *wink wink* ......and okay, Thanos too *dreamy sigh*). It did seem a bit rushed but that doesn't take away from the fun you have while reading it. Also, I felt Syd was trying to solve everything with sex (the Gage and Syd scene in Eden!).
I would def recommend it if you want humour, RH steam, and a very unique take on religion.
Oh also, I love this sentence in this book a lot and it somehow manages to describe the book and the society both 🖤
Independent thought continued to be seen as treasonous when those opinions differed from those who were in charge.

This is the last book of the series and ofcourse it's freakin awesome! While book 1 focused on building relationships and book 2 brought on the twists and drama; book 3 is the end of everything where whatever you saw/knew isn't the whole thing or necessarily true.
In this book we learn about Gage's family, see Brian's insecurity, Oz's naughty streak and Cay's mushy feelings (since he's always so tight lipped and in control). The book begins exactly where the previous one ended.
I was smiling while reading the initial 50% and loved the tinder reference and Brian's helplessness when the other champions were getting horny when Syd was offering the box.😂 My most favourite was how Syd linked a memory of each champion to every element & the jealous streak of the guys **where's the fan?!**
We've got blood, fight, steamy sex both sharing and not sharing (**smirk smirk** you've gotta guess who all participated) and many chuckle worthy moments. The mystery will be solved, Victor's involvement will be justified and Dark Mercy with her champions will bring the end.
The perfect balance between darkness and lightness. Absolutely loved the finale! Hoping to see my perfect Oz's cameo in any upcoming book!
PS: If it wasn't clear enough, then I meant to say that I want Oz everywhere ;)

Shadows Scorch is the final book in the Wings Of Darkness And Light trilogy.
⚠️ Non-consent scene. Irreverent views of religion. Dubious views over what some may consider a "cheating" scene. Cannibalistic type scene.
⚠️ If you are a deeply religious person, I would recommend that you do not read this book or series.
I found this trilogy to be quite unique; it's unlike anything else I've read before. Shadows Scorch was darker than the other two previous books. There's plenty of very steamy scenes, several of which include MM. 🔥🔥🔥 The author nicely wrapped up the series, answering all the questions that were building up throughout the trilogy.
There definitely some parts that made me a bit uncomfortable, but I did enjoy the book overall. The epilogue was a nice touch! 😉 Looking forward to what C. Rochelle has in store for us next. ❤

LOVED this series! That said, I left the church a long time ago! This is the 3rd and final installment in the main series (spin offs maybe?). It picks up right where the 2nd left off, so read them in order!
Syd and her boys unite both physically and emotionally. They discover what is really going on behind the scenes in heaven and hell and shake things up a bit.
Not only is this series HOT, but it also brings to light some of the craziness found in organized religion that you probably only appreciate if you've had it shoved down your throat at some point in your life. LOVED IT!

Guys as you well know from my previous reviews that I have seriously enjoyed this series! And let me tell you C. Rochelle did NOT DISAPPOINT! I LOVED THIS BOOK! so many questions answered but were still left at the edge of our seats with anticipation waiting for what’s to come next! And the action? It was awesome and it showed off more of Syd’s badass side as well as her harem! Oh and the STEAM! I thought the first two books were steamy but this one had my most favourite moments in! Rochelle had me giggling and left me feeling on the hotter side🥵
Syd and her harem champions faced many challenges and throughly over came each one! I enjoyed watching them all grow more together not only with Syd but guys with each other. I find that those are the moments when I most fall in love with reading reverse harems and I truly believe that Rochelle captured those moments.
This was series was amazing, it’s unique and different! I honestly can’t stress enough how the authors take on religion, angels and demons is so enrapturing! And the added mysteries, twists and turns just hook you right in! I really hope C. Rochelle adds to this book universe in the future, there are some amazing characters in this series and I’d definitely like to see them again!

What an incredible end to a brilliant series.
Darker in tone than the previous two books C. Rochelle manages to wrap the series up in a deliciously sinful pie including a dash of sarcasm, a sprinkle of war, a spoonful of clever thinking and a bucket full of steam. Including one particularly spicy scene that means I'll never look at a church in the same way again!

I don't even know where to begin! Shadows Scorch is the 3rd and final book in the Wings of Darkness + Light series. This book (series) is full of action-packed adventure, heated vengeance, hidden secrets and hot-as-sin sex!! Multiple POVs and PNR MFMM/M do not disappoint! Syd and her men are growing closer than ever and exceeding everyone's wildest fantasies *wink wink*

Murder, Mayhem, Lust, Love, Revenge and serious Badassery are what you find in this series!
If you have not read this series yet, I feel the need to insist that you do!
This third and final installment to the Wings of Darkness and Light series is more than I could have imagined for an ending. I waited a while to review this, I think because I just did not want the journey to end. It is really that good.
To say that I have been obsessed with Syd and her champions since the beginning is an understatement.
If you want a strong female character that is the epitome of Badass, Her men.... Her champions who make a woman weak in the knees, a storyline and world that you can truly envision because of the detail, and suspense that always leads to a fantastic climax... This is the series for you.
Not wanting to spoil the book, I will just say that all of your questions get answered, the steamy sex scenes just get hotter and the characters became everything you hope and dream from the first two books.

Wow just wow. The third and final book was just as amazing as the first 2. What a rollercoaster. I absolutely loved this series. Syd aka dark mercy and her harem of champions. I love Syd she is one kick ass heroine who fights for what matters most to her and to anyone standing in her way watch the he77 out! Her relationships with her guys evolves not to mention of course the steamy scenes which let’s be honest we all love. This series definitely took my surprise but it was worth devouring, with such a different view and take on heaven and hell! Syd becomes more powerful and masters skills (trying to be super vague) there’s so much more mystery and intrigue. Syd makes me laugh with her outrageous and at times sarcasm not to mention ‘what fresh hell is this’ makes me laugh every time, I just adore Syd. I loved that there was epilogue and it was the perfect way to end the series. Definitely a million times recommend!!!

Heard about this author and books on Book-Tok. I enjoyed this trilogy very much. There is a solid plot with a storyline that moves easily throughout each book and doesn’t lag. Good humor and very nice steamy scenes. Nice to find an author that writes well and gives good smut. 🤣
Warnings or Encouragements! Standard things...
Reverse Harem, book 1 is a medium-burn with 3 guys, a 4th added in book 2.
For people that like to be warned off of or maybe looking for 😉 there is M/M towards the end of book 2 and continuing in book 3.
Enjoyable heroine with well balanced badass and squishy center.
All 4 Hero’s are developed well with distinct personalities. Nice balance of Alpha’s & Betas, funny & sexy.
Angels, Demons, Humans...and a Goddess, OH MY! I found it fun and interesting the way the author plays with history and religion. I love history, and know quite a LOT about academic & religious history. Kudos to this author for her knowledge and/or research.
Things I would have liked added:
More group steamy scenes, like the whole group. Epilogue had one kinda. The pre-final battle power up could have been an epic one!
I was hoping they would find a way to reverse the Angel’s family “problem”.

All 4 Hero’s are developed well with distinct personalities. Nice balance of Alpha’s & Betas, funny & sexy.
Angels, Demons, Humans...and a Goddess, OH MY! I found it fun and interesting the way the author plays with history and religion. I love history, and know quite a LOT about academic & religious history. Kudos to this author for her knowledge and/or research.
Things I would have liked added:
More group steamy scenes, like the whole group. Epilogue had one kinda. The pre-final battle power up could have been an epic one!
I was hoping they would find a way to reverse the Angel’s family “problem”.
Very much looking forward to the authors next series!

This is the epic conclusion to the Wings of Darkness + Light series. I'm feeling a little bittersweet about this being the last. I love this series. All I can say it gets scorching hot as well.

Loved this series
Honestly i really enjoyed this series. There is plenty of action and a busy storyline without a lot of angst which i find tiresome in some series. All the main characters sre likeable with plenty of differences in personality so you always know who is who. I expecially liked it is written from MPV. Its funny as well and the sex scenes although not a detailed as some, they work just as well. Loved the dynamic between the men as well, that last scene was soo good!

Love, well written, hot, steamy, great story
I Absolutely loved this series! It was hot steamy And everything dirty (dirty angels mmm) that you wanna read. The story line was fantastic I loved it wasn't just a super sexy book but had a great plot with twists and turns and heart ache and Love. Plus a bad ass, own who you are, lead female. I am so excited to read more of what you write!! I 100% recommend this book and author.

An epic conclusion!!! This series finale had it all! Sexy times, revenge, ass kickery, battles, and happily ever afters! We get to see Syd fully emerge into her big goddess energy and finish developing into the deity she was meant to be! I highly recommend this series!

She did it! She wrapped it up completely, left me with no unanswered questions. Then ended on such a high note I’m still chucks about it 10 minutes later. Shadows Scorch is a wonderful and witty ending to a great series! I loved it! All the characters have grown in this series, and their stories were all told well. I can’t wait to see what C. Rochelle will do in the future.

Syd got me pretty nervous with her time spent with Victor and my heart absolutely shattered for her Champions. Thankfully though, things worked themselves out (no spoilers her Little Sinners!!!!).
The legendary goddess seizes her birthright and full powers and with an enormous army, brings heaven and hell to their knees.
I truly can't stress enough how amazing this series is and how thorough an author C. Rochelle is. No details were ever left out and I never felt like I was lost within the story line. I love that there's so much potential for a couple of spin-offs (at least) and can't wait for more within this world!!!

I love Syd and how much bloodlust and vengeance she is capable of. She is an amazing leader even while baring the burdens of the things she has to do.
There were so many super hot scenes with Syd and her men. You can feel all of the genuine love between their little family. I really hope a spin off series Is the the future featuring Grazi or Kimberly.

Outstanding finale to the series. Action packed rollercoaster ride from start to finish. I’m hoping we’ll return to this world again because it’s exciting and complex enough to go further. Definitely recommend this series.

The finale in the Wings of Darkness and Light Trilogy leaves you wishing the series were longer... It is an intelligently written ending, wrapping up a number of overarching storylines from the series in a poignant and refreshing way.
I liken this series to the great Laurell K Hamilton's Merry Gentry... always a twist, an unexpected turn, and a brilliantly constructed female lead.

Shadows Scorch by C. Rochelle is the conclusion to the Wings of Darkness and and Light series.
This story has angels, reapers, the garden of eden, heaven & hell, and a badass chick who saves the world. I liked this paranormal world set in the future and the biblical tie ins. Syd is a badass and I loved all her champions too! They get a jealous streak in this book that’s pretty entertaining.
This book dealt with some dark stuff but the HEA was satisfying. It is RH and has some really good MM as well ♥️. I’d recommend this series especially if you like biblical mythology! 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book is amazing. From the moment that I started reading it I was hooked and could not put it down till the last word was read. It moves along at a pace that was neither too fast nor too slow. The characters are amazing and you feel as though you know them and no matter what you want to see them succeed. This is a must read book.

This was the perfect ending!
Syd and her guys continue showing how amazing they are. They go through so much in this book that it just seemed like a roller coaster. Syd is just amazing and although at times it seems like she can’t catch a break she continues being her sarcastic self. I loved this series and recommend it to everyone.

If you weren't in love with Dark Mercys Champions in the first two books, this one will cinch it! I was mad at Syd at the end of book two for a dumb choice she made, but I guess she redeemed herself😂. I loved getting to know the champions on a deeper level when they were away from Syd. I'm telling ya, there is one particular champion who really just rose to the top, I see you Brian! Beautiful story that just makes my heart happy and wanting more.
