Rage Against the Devil by T. Birmingham a fantastic four-star read. This is Wild Beasts book two, but is in fact the third book in the series, as the first book is The Devils Pride, then you have Dancing with the Devil Novella and then this book, and you don’t need to read them in order to get the whole story, but I would definitely recommend reading them all, as you see the characters from other books so you would get spoilers. This is a paranormal romance series, and it’s a very good series to sink your teeth into. This story has moments that will break your heart, but it also has moments that will fix it back together again.
Nicholas Arviso is a Vukovic wolf, he works with his human partner to solve crimes, with the police force he comes with a uniqueness that is amazing, he is a great character, he would love to live a lone wolf lifestyle. Nicky makes you want to turn the pages even quicker to find out what is going to happen next with him. Nicky is a man on the run from his past, but he is also a man who is determined to find out who is behind the murders, they are so close to him after all.
Eire Donovan is darkness personified, literally. Eire is cold and hard, and she is the Darkness that the things who go bump in the night should be scared of, as an Enforcer she is the one who can take down what is needed to be taken down. This seems easy to di until of course she meets Nicky and he threatens to break down the cold and dark within her.
Light and Dark work together, but will they create grey, or a job well done? You will need to read the book to find out. This story is complex and will keep you guessing all the way through, it’s well worth the time it takes to read.

Rage Against the Devil is the second book in the Wild Beasts Series by T. Birmingham. It is a fantasy/paranormal romance with mystery, action, suspense and drama. I love the way Ms. Birmingham builds the tension and suspense in this book, she had me on the edge of my seat, reading as quickly as I could, so I could discover what would happen next.
This story could be read as a standalone, but I don’t recommend that you do. If you haven’t read the first book, I think this would be a more enjoyable reading experience if you did. There is important information on characters and backstories that are contained in the first book.
Eire Donovan is an enforcer with rare gifts. She is tough and powerful, with a steely edge and a no nonsense attitude. She has been assigned to look into and find those responsible for the spate of strange deaths that has been occurring of late. Eire’s formidable reputation and skills strike fear in the heart of the ‘Others’- she has what it takes to be able to get the job done.
She has had a hard life, with her own secrets that she keeps close to her chest. It may seem like she is quite remote and emotionless and as the story develops we discover why she is this way. This investigation has her working quite closely with others, one of which is causing her to lose a lot of the control she has over herself and her feelings. She finds this (and him) quite disconcerting. She desperately tries to ignore the connection that has developed between them. But the longer they work together, the more powerful her feelings become. But she knows they don’t stand a chance of a future together. Do they?
Nicholas Arviso works for the police department. He is a Vukovic Wolf- a shifter. He and his partner are working hard and are quite intent on finding out who is responsible for the deaths. He has the lone wolf thing going on and has been comfortable living on his own- until Eire enters the scene. Sparks fly immediately and he feels the powerful connection that flows between them. He knows that it will be up to him to convince Eire that there is something between them that’s worth exploring and even fighting for. Will he be the one to break down all her barriers and defrost her heart?
This is book has quite a complex storyline and Ms. Birmingham has cleverly woven all the various elements into a very riveting story.
There seemed to be a lot more emotional factors in this story, compared to the first one. There were moments of extreme heartbreak, as well as other moments that were truly heartfelt.
The characters are extremely interesting, likeable and fully developed.
The story has a great pace and is easy to read. I really enjoy Ms. Birmingham’s style and imagination. I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Thank you Ms. Birmingham!

Nicholas Arviso is a Vukovic wolf and works with his human partner on the police force. The murder scene he discovers is too close to home and has the scent of "Others" all over it. He then finds it's only the last in a string of similar cases.
Erie Donovan is an enforcer for the Others and a Fae with very rare gifts. She has hidden her emotions behind a shield of ice for years. Now this latest case could destroy that wall.
This is the third book in the series and should be read in order. All our characters are about to learn very important lessons about control and allowing your friends to help when you need them. Temper tantrums and magic flying everywhere. The evil will touch them all, some will be permanently damaged.
This is a story that once you start it you can't put it down. Our author also has a habit of ending with a teaser for the next book. Crafty. Now I have to have that one.

Rage Against the Devil (Wild Beasts Series Book 2) by T. Birmingham is the second book in her Wild Beasts series. This story can be read as a stand alone but I would highly recommend that you read the previous book before this one. It is great to see characters from the previous books in other books in the series. It will however give you information to help you fully understand this book. You will enjoy how this author has used an imagination to create characters that will take you on a journey of various emotions. This story is full of action, suspense, fantasy, shifters, wolf-men and of course you can't forget the hot, sexy romance. This characters will have you sitting on the edge of your seat one minute and needing ice the next. Find out what happens to these characters as they start a journey that will never be forgotten.

Nicholas Arviso is a restless wolf who has been on one mission or another. He is trying to forget his past and past sins. Realizing that a man can't run from his misdeeds forever, that he could be on a collision of his past that has been long buried. What will he do when he finds a crime scene in his backyard? Will this trigger the past he has tried so hard to bury?

Eire Donovan is a woman who feels that she doesn't need to run. She is cold hearted, feisty, mean woman who has precise and dangerous gifts that make her something that even evil fears. The Others flee from her but as an enforcer she knows what it will take to destroy the Darkness. But she is the Other and the Darkness, so now what? What will happen when she must investigate Other's death? Will she find the one thing that she didn't expect to find?

Nicholas and Eire's relationship is one where they are perfect together. The attraction between them is hot and spicy. She is an enforcer and Other and he is the shifter and on a mission. When things come a little to close to home for him what will happen between the two of them when they meet? They are both very strong characters. Eire is no mushy character, she is a strong, independent, feisty woman who knows what she wants but what he can turn her into, you will just have to read to find out. Nicholas is also a strong, independent and hot. Together they really do make the story flow and the romance they have just adds to the book. You will get to see some of the characters from the previous book which is great. I enjoy it when this happens. Will these two survive the secrets from their past? Will everyone be touched by the darkness but maybe damaged? Find out what happens to this couple as they face the Others, Darkness and themselves.

This is my second book by T. Birmingham and I it is my favorite so far. I can't wait to see what she will have for us next in this series. T. lives in Western Mass and hopes to one day build a log cabin home in the mountains and she is searching for her own Man Bear. She spends most of her days teaching college-aged children how to practice proper grammar and how to write a paragraph. Her passion lies in literature and instills her love of writing and of creative adventures in future leaders of America. This is a fast paced story that you will find yourself reading until the end. It will keep you engaged until the last page. You will totally lose yourself in their world and they will make you feel what they are. I highly recommend this story as I know you will want to see what happens next in this series.

Rage Against the Devil (Wild Beasts Series Book 2)
By: T. Birmingham
5 out of 5 stars

The story Rage Against the Devil (Wild Beasts Series Book 2) by T. Birmingham is a paranormal romance book. If you love paranormal romance this book and series is one that you don’t want to miss. It will have you on the edge of your seat and quickly turning pages to find out what happens next. I would highly suggest reading the books in order as there are references to situations from the previous stories and you also are introduced to many of the characters that reappear in this book. This is a story about a series of deaths and the investigation that occurs. It takes you into a world that has magical characters and my personal favorite, shifters. There is a lot that happens during this investigation and I love the attention to detail that the author gives regarding both the worlds created and the characters. It has plenty of background information that is important to the story.

I love the characters of Nicholas Arviso and Eire Donovan. Eire is assigned to investigate the deaths of The Others. She is a person that doesn’t show emotions and as you get further and further into the story you find out why. Her life has been a hard one and she even keeps herself semi-isolated from her family. Now she has to work with others to resolve this case and one, in particular, is causing Eire to experience emotions that she doesn’t want. From the first time she meets Nicholas, there is a connection that starts to form and which Eire tries to ignore. As they work together on the case those feelings become stronger. Eire believes that because of who she and Nicholas are they could never be together. Will Nicholas be able to prove to Eire that they belong together and that love is worth fighting for?

Nicholas is a wolf shifter. He is wild and is quite content living on his own. Then he meets Eire. She sparks a fire within him that only gets stronger the longer they work together. Now to just convince Eire that they belong together. Nicholas is patient, however, he is very protective of Eire. There are things about Eire and her life that Nicholas has no knowledge of and it the past that keeps these two apart. Eire believes that she is made of stone and puts up barriers so that she doesn’t get close to anyone. Will Nicholas be able to pull down those barriers?

Besides Nicholas and Eire that are many other characters that all are involved in investigating the strange deaths that are happening. They are all different and all important to the story. Will their differences work to help them solve this case of will these differences tear apart any chance of their success? This is the second book I have read by the author and I truly enjoy both her writing style and character development. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. This book does include sensitive subjects that may be difficult to read. It also has violence, adult language, and adult situations. It would be recommended for those 18 years of age or older.

Nicholas Arviso is a cop but he is not your ordinary cop. He is a wolf, but he is not your ordinary wolf. He has spent his life hiding and trying to forget the past. A past that he can never forget. A past he can not forgive himself for. A past that continues to haunt him to this day. A past that has kept him partially secluded from the world. A past he tries to run from literally. Whilst running from his past he finds a gruesome discovery, a crime scene near his home, in his backyard. A crime scene that is so brutal that without his sense of smell there would be no discovering the truth. A truth that will change his life forever. A discovery that will cause him to look inward to find the ugly truth. Secrets that changes the way he thinks and all he has known.

Eire Donovan has lived a hard life forsaking family and friends. Things she has had to see and endure have made her dark, cold as stone, a hard bitch with her gifts make her both dangerous and deadly. She is a thing that most fear even evil itself therefore making her good at her job as an enforcer. Now in Montville, New York, she is chasing after a series of deaths Eire finds that a past she thought dead and buried is back to haunt her. Facing family has made her even colder and sharper than she thought she would become. Eire is darkness, she is an Other but despite all that she has known she must finally face the truth about herself. A truth she does not want to know, a truth she has pushed aside and buried deep within. The truth of who she really is.

Will Nick finally let go of the past? Will he finally accept who he is? Will he be able to save on the one thing that would kill him and who could save him? Will the Light and Dark find even ground to defeat the enemy? Will they find that the differences between them is to much? Will they sacrifice themselves to destroy the evil? Will they find the truth to themselves in time to save themselves?

This book is a Paranormal Romance that is complex and the chemistry is hot but it is also heartbreaking, enlightening and awakening. The world created in this story will draw you in! The characters are well written you will want to just keep reading.

I give Rage Against the Devil (book 2 in the Wild Beast Series) by T. Birmingham 5 stars.
This review may contain spoilers of book 1 in this series.

Nicky is a restless man. Or maybe that’s a restless wolf. He has been for a long time. He has seen too many things, not to mention experienced too many things, to be content. He has many things on his conscious. But has no one to blame but himself and he has come to terms with this. Plus he is different than the rest of the shifters he knows. This sets him apart even more. While he sometimes envies those content couples around him, he knows he will never have that. He’s okay with that. Or so he thinks. Then he meets the amazingly different Eire Donovan.

Eire is a cold woman. She has been made into this woman at a young age. She is okay this, it’s easier that way. Without the emotions most people have, she is able to do her job as an Enforcer very efficiently. And without any personal connections, she will never get hurt again. Her partner is the closest thing to a friend she has. Little does she know how quickly things will change.

Her and her partner are called into a case involving dead Others. What seems like a simple case turns into so much more. The ones she must work with are not her kind and not worth her time. She works with them because she has too. But as this case develops and turns into chaos, she comes to realize there may be more to this rag tag group of misfits then she first thought. Then there is Nicky, the wolf shifter who just might finally melt this Ice Queen’s heart.

This is a great book in a wonderful series. Besides the potential romance of the two main characters, there is plenty of action going on to keep you totally engrossed. And the twists and turn will keep you guessing until the end. The histories of both Eire and Nicky will rip your heart out. But don’t worry, your favorite characters from book one are back again too, although some have gone through drastic changes since their last big showdown.

Overall, I loved this book and could not put it down. I definitely recommend it.

Rage against the Devil is the third book in the Wild Beasts series and again is another amazing book by T Birmingham. I loved The Devils Pride so I couldn’t wait to get started on this one and I wasn’t disappointed at all! There is also a novella in this series which I haven’t read but will definitely be going back to read!
The one thing I will say about this author is that she has an amazing talent for creating such in depth and captivating stories. I was completely wrapped up in the world of fantasy and paranormal. Her characters all have their won individual stories and I am really enjoying reading about them. Whilst Devon still remains my favourite, I was really looking forward to reading more about Nicky and I have to say I loved him! The relationship between him and Eire was great. It was a definite love/hate one but their chemistry was pretty undeniable! Nicky was a really lovely and patient character and perfect for Eire.
I really liked Eire’s character, she wasn’t black and white. Her character was quite complex and I enjoyed seeing her develop over the story. Her character introduced me to Fae’s and their abilities which I found really interesting. I am still a pretty new reader to fantasy and paranormal books and this series has been a great introduction to this new genre.
As with the other book I have read by this author there were some great plot twists that made the story even more exciting to read. I also enjoyed seeing characters from the other book return as well. Although this wasn’t primarily Alexia’s story she still featured heavily in it as a secondary character – this pleased me as with Alexia came her man bear Devon!!
T Birmingham has created a wonderful series full of fantasy, mystery and paranormal romance and it has wonderful in depth descriptions and some particularly exciting characters (as well as a few sexy ones!!) This book does carry a trigger warning that readers may want to take note of. I would also recommending reading the stories in order to fully understand the storyline. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

This is the second book in the series. Some characters are new, some are returning. Again I'd love the glossary to be in the front, as there are still new terminology of the series that is solely unique to new readers. The complexity of the characters and world building is unmatched by anything from a different author. You can tell so much thought and care was taking developing each book. This series doe give you a case of the feels, so be prepared. With that said I do tend to lean to favor the first in the series by a hair. It just called to me more. Nick and Eire are complex characters. Some twists and things keep the book fresh and on pace. It has a steady flow that will draw you in from page one. I can't recommend this series enough. Great read, a solid story line.

Title:Rage Against the Devil
Author:T. Birmingham
Series: Wild Beasts #2

Rage Against the Devil was a great 5 star read.

We start with Alexia having a dream. It’s the same dream she has been having for months, and it’s now taking a toll on her health. Her mate, Devon is concerned and wants to help her. I’m hurt when you shut me out, Red. What could this dream mean for the clan?

Nicholas (Nicky) was a different kind of wolf, so much so that his family kept him hidden. He is definitely a cocky wolf. When Nicholas comes across a body he contacts Danny and Alexia for help. He still struggles at times with his feelings for Alexia, she is no longer his and he has to realize and deal with that. What he doesn’t realize is that there is something bigger going on.

Eire is an Enforcer for the Others and she is cold and hard. And her partner Gimp finds out first hand just how cold and hard she is, he knows just what buttons to push. When she gets assigned to work on the mysterious deaths she meets Nicholas. When Eire reveals a secret, Nicky instantly feels the need to protect her. As these two work together they start to develop feelings for each other. Eire is very surprised with Nicky’s confession. Can Nicky find his mate in Eire? Will Eire let him in? Can Nicky get past his own issues?

You are not the only one who lives in constant fear.

There are so many more characters in this book. Can they all work together to solve the murders?
There are also some secrets and surprises revealed. This is book 2 in the Wild Beasts series and I am loving it. There are so many characters but they are not hard to keep up with. T. Birmingham does a great job with pulling you right in with her writing. The book can be read as a stand alone but I feel like you really need to start from the beginning, it will be so much better. And the epilogue, WOW I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

This is the second book in this dark and sexy series by T Birmingham, and I highly suggest you pick up the first book before reading this one. Though this story can be read as a standalone, there will be some references that may confuse you if you haven’t read the first book. Trust me, the first book is as amazing as this book and you will be glad you didn’t miss it!
I really like Eire, one of the main characters, an investigator with a big mouth, who tries to hide who she really is from everyone. There are a few moments where she may come off as an extreme bitch but over time you learn why she is that way. That really, she never had a choice. We get to see all the things she hides from others, while she discovers things about herself she really didn’t even know. Its all very dark, twisty but there always seems an underlining of hope beneath it all and that’s just a testament of T Birmingham’s writing skill.
I really love Eire’s relationship with Nicolas, the police officer who is also a wolf. The chemistry between them is beautifully written. We learn that all is not what it seems with him in the first book and that he has his own battles to fight, internally. His story, in my opinion is more heartbreaking than Eire’s although rest assure, they both have had horrible pasts.
There were several twist and turns in this book, just like in the first, and I saw none of them coming! Some scenes are very intense, and heartbreaking, while other’s will definitely have you blushing and your heart racing. This is a book I couldn’t put down and I have a feeling the rest of the series will only build on the intensity of this book and the first! A must read for any paranormal reader!

T. Birmingham has done it again. Five stars for Rage Against the Devil: Wild Beast Series. T. Birmingham is quickly becoming my favorite authors. I have gladly recommended her to my friends and relatives. With her vivid descriptions, she captures the essence of her characters and molds them into amazing people. People with character, character flaws, and deep, deep emotions.
Eire, the main character in Rage Against the Devil is wrestling with her personality. Emotions are not what she wants in her life, nor are they what she needs. Like so many of us, she has built big, deep, wide and tall walls around herself. Mostly to avoid pain. She has taught herself to ignore her emotions. To tamp them down and keep them hidden. Never, never, never let them out. Ice is cooler. Whereas emotion tends to run hot, Ice cools. Ice does not hurt. Ice is a wall of protection and Eire needs, wants, craves that protection.
I could easily relate to the pain Eire experiences. T. Birmingham has explored the good, the bad and the ugly emotions we all have and the various ways we lock them up. Her characters choose many different ways of dealing with them. Some of those ways are much more healthy than others. She explores the self destructive measures we sometimes take to control these emotions and how that control hurts not only ourselves, but those around us.
T. Birmingham is an amazing writer with amazing characters and an amazing plot. Which I will leave you to discover.
Again, T. Birmingham has written an amazing five plus star read. Set aside some time. You’re not going to want to set it down until it’s finished. then you’ll be sad it is. Definitely read again material.

Rage Against the Devil (Wild Beasts Series Book 2)

I personally would not consider this book to be a stand-alone. There is so much that happens in Book 1 – The Devil’s Pride, that I recommend reading in order. I read The Devil’s Pride a few months ago so it took me a few pages to catch up and remember who was who and what was where. Once I did, I couldn’t stop reading.

The Wild Beast Series is a paranormal, shapeshifter series that feature wolves and bears and fae people and humans and oh so much more. It is actually listed as “interracial” romance on the Amazon classification which I thought was pretty cool. If you take the paranormal out of the story, what you are left with is a classic mystery/romance that could compete with the best out there.

Rage Against the Devil is about Eire Donovan & Nick “Nicky” Arviso. They both come from different backgrounds and different genetics so on “paper” they shouldn’t work, but they absolutely 100% do. This story has so many layers and so many nuances in it that when I was reading, sometimes I got a pit in my stomach and sometimes I sighed and other times I got so angry I wanted to yell at someone. I had to remind myself that this is just fiction and it’s going to be ok. The way T. Birmingham writes, brings these characters to life in such a way that I was not expecting. There is such pain in some of these people and such tragedy. Then there are good times and happiness. There were times when I had to pause my reading because I had tears in my eyes.

I wish I could give this story more than 5 stars. I’m not sure why it hit me the way that it did and it will hold a special place in my heart. I look forward to reading the next tale in the series.

Rage Against the Devil by T. Birmingham
Four Stars

Rage Against the Devil is the second book in the Wild Beast Series by T. Birmingham. You can read this book as a stand alone, but a lot of the characters return from the first book. The stories this author weaves are intricate and descriptive, and the many characters blend so well together you just don't want it to end. This book takes you on a wild ride of mystery, suspense, shifters, action, Hot sexy romance and fantasy. The book is a roller coaster of intrigue and mystery. It held my attention from the first page to the last.

Erie Donovan is a take charge kind of woman and able to handle situations by herself. She is known to be old hearted and mean with dangerous gifts that scare evil away. She is an enforcer out to destroy the Darkness. She is good at her job and on a case in Montville, NY which brings her into her past and secret she would like to keep buried.

Nicholas Arviso is a cop, wolf, ghost with a past he would like to forget, but someone is not letting that happen. Nick finds a gruesome crime scene on his property that is going to give him troubles. He will find secrets that will change the way he thinks about himself and the past.

Nicholas and Erie are a very intriguing couple, they have chemistry that won't quit. They are both strong willed and afraid of the secrets in their past. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles in their way? Will they be able to trust each other?

This book was one of the hardest to review for me because there is so much I wanted to tell without giving anything away. The story is intricate and full of excitement. This is a must read series.

Rage Against The Devil by T Birmingham is a good read. I would not recommend reading it as a stand alone, as there are a lot of characters and situations that reference back to the first book.

Erie is a mean and cold woman. Thought the book we find out why she is so icy, because of a past she is always on the run from. As an enforcer she is sent to hunt down someone who is murdering the Others, which brings her to the town of Montville. This town is where she meets Nicky, who is making her feel things she doesn't want to feel.

Nicky is a wolf shifter. He is content living in his own, doing his own thing. When he meets Erie, it sparks something inside of him, something he thought was gone. It is an uphill battle trying to convince Erie that they are meant to be together, but he will stop at nothing to prove it.

I really feel for Erie. I wanted to hate her in the beginning because she is such a cold and icy person, but when I got her full story and what her life had been like, I really started to sympathize with her. In the book we find out that her dad and grandma were complete psychos and pretty much shaped her to what she has become. She has had to harden her heart because of them and I am so happy she meets Nicky and her brothers come back into her life and start to ship away at her icy facade.

Overall I thought this was a pretty good read. The characters had depth, the story had mystery and violence as well as romance, and I thought it all balanced out nicely. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes a good paranormal story. I would give this book 5 stars!

Rage Against The Devil by T Birmingham is the second book I have read by this author so i think I can now say she rocks! Like the first book, The Devil's Pride, I was hooked from start to finish.

This book focuses a bit more on Nicky and introduces us to Eire. As to be expected, these characters have layers and vibrant and, occasionally, violent and complex background. The atmosphere and darkness of these beings and world are almost palpable when reading thanks to the author's incredible writing style and narrative.

The chemistry and emotions of the characters is so apparent and strong throughout the book and pulls you in so much that you feel like you are right there with them in every scene.

As with the first book, there is so much intoxicating and heartbreaking moments that you truly take these characters into your heart and have to keep reading and taking this journey with them. The story is still surprising and has twists that you don't see coming which makes it just as compelling as the first.

This is truly a unique story and, despite its darkness, the romance is well placed and believable. I found both these books truly enchanting and will read them again and again. I cannot wait to read more in the series and think I have a new author to add to my favourites list.

I gave this book 5 stars but wish I could give more. I highly recommend this to anyone who has eyeballs and can read! Even if you aren't a huge fan of the genre, I think this is the book that will change all that!

Rage Against The Devil is the second book in the Wild Beast Series by T. Birimingham, and it is absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend reading the first book in the series before starting this one, just because the series is that amazing! T. Birmingham has created an amazing storyline, that has everything you could ask for, it has characters that are so well developed and written that they feel like I know them personally. An amazing 5 stars!!

Nicholas Arviso has been on mission after mission and he's ready to forget everything. His past missions and just his past in general. Did I mention he's also a wolf? Well he is and that makes everything even more complicated. Soon he realizes that he can't out run anything forever and his secrets and past are back to haunt him. So what is he going to do when he he has to face everything once and for all?

Eire Donovan is what some would call “cold hearted”, she's mean, and dangerous. She has a gift that can make anyone cower in fear. She's an enforcer and she knows what it would take to destroy the Darkness, but she's both the Other and the Darkness, so what is she to do? How can she move forward? When things start happening, she has to make a choice, but what will it be?

Holy cannoli, this book was amazing!! I honestly would recommend this book to everyone! Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen, there was another twist that left me turning pages faster than I could read! I can't wait to see what happens next in the series!

I give 5 stars to the second book by T Birmingham.

Raging against the devil : The wild beast series. This is the second book in this amazing paranormal romance.

It can be read as a stand-alone but I would recommend you read in order as there is so much more in each book to the whole story.

It's been months since the horrible night that stole so much from Alexia and everyone she holds dear.  Since Cam life was turned upside down. Everyone's life changed in some way.  Alexia and Devon are settling into their own future.  Except the nightmares are coming harder and more real with each night Alexia was becoming more pale and withdrawn with each one.

Nicky Arviso the new cop in town also the wolf comes across a scene on the boarder of their lands one night while out running everyone is called in on this to investigate. Even people from outside known as the enforcers one is especially catches Nicky curiosity.

Her name is Eire Donovan and her partner in crime Gimp.  With in seconds Nicky is intrigued by her she's so cold there's no emotions in her posterior.  She couldn't stand any straighter if she tried just like a ice queen.  When they start to investigate something happens and everything changes but can they all play their part it getting to the end of these unforgiving crimes. Will Eira be able to work with Alexia and the new clang that has formed here.

I personally have struggled to identify each clang but as each of their parts come out I'm understanding them more.  But even with this the story alone sucks you in so you have to keep reading.

Rage Against the Devil (Wild Beast #2)
By T. Birmingham
5 Star Review

Rage Against the Devil by T. Birmingham is a five star read, and a paranormal romance. I love paranormal romances and this has been added to my favorite lists. It had me on the edge of my seat as I read through this book. There are many deaths, strong characters and surprises that go along and it largely takes place in the magical world.

Nicholas Arciso is a wolf shapeshifter, my favorite, but he is also a cop. He runs from his past and is trying to forget the nightmares of his childhood. He discovers a crime scene in his backyard that if he wasn’t a wolf shifter it would have never been found.

Eire Donovan is a cold hearted woman; she is an enforcer in the magic world. Eire is good at her job but chasing this investigation brings her face to face with a past that wanted to stay dead and buried.

Montville a small college town, deaths are continuing to occur and all signs are indicting that a war is raging. Everyone in the magical world will have to be involved to help end this war. This story involves Nicholas and Eire, as they begin having to work together to try and solve this case, they start learning more about each other and the attraction grows.

This story has more twist and turns and giving a review without revealing too much was challenging. I love this story, there are so many things and the characters have so many layers. There are so many secrets and surprises that are going on this book that it was very hard to put down.

Rage Against the Devil
Wild Beast series Book Two
T Birmingham
5 stars

Although this is book 2 in the series you could read as a standalone but I would not recommend, especially when you have characters that cross over from previous book. I think this book does show how those characters from the first book have really developed into much stronger ones and the development that has progressed. Birmingham’s creative writing will throw you head first into such a great imaginative, suspenseful, realm of shifters, fantasy, and most importantly romance.
This book mainly focuses on Nicky and introduces Erie.
Nicky aka Nicholas Arviso, a Vukovic wolf that works with his partner and the police force to try and solve a murder.
Erie is( like you hire go to person) is the enforcers for the Others. And of course she is Fae. Yet again T.Birmingham writing style really shows how she draws you in with the dark twisted secrets from the past everyone loves to hide and how they each overcome them. I would definitely say this book has a darker feel than book one, but still just as, if not more captivating and gripping.
Immediate connection is apparent between the pair sparks fly chemistry brewing and bubbling, and leaves you page turning to see what happens.
If you're into paranormal fantasy shape shifter I would highly recommend reading book one The Devils Pride, go and one click now.
Truly looking forward to seeing where this series goes next.

Rage Against the Devil is the second installment in the Wild Beast Series by T. Birmingham. And like the first book, The Devil's Pride - had a great amount of Paranormal. I think what I enjoyed the most, was the fact that this book can be read as a Stand-Alone. I suggest you don’t though. If you ask me, dive into the series and enjoy it thoroughly.

One of my favorite things has always been the ability to loose myself in a good book, which is something that this author has managed not once, but twice. We are originally introduced to this beautiful and wonderful world, where there are different types of Clans, Light vs. Dark, and Others. I like that we expand more on them throughout this book.

One of our main characters in this book is Nicholas Arviso, a Lone Wolf, a Vukovic Wolf. And we also have Eire Donovan, who is a complete and total hard core Enforcer. Together, they create hot sexy paranormal romance, one that I completely enjoyed.

The suspense and action that we get in this world was exhilarating and fulfilling.

Like with my review of The Devil's Pride, I don't want to give much away. That would take away from you experiencing this wonderful book. I've mentioned before that I love getting lost in a good book. I enjoy that T. Birmingham has the ability to create and maintain a world that holds enough power to keep my attention. I felt a lot while reading this book, emotions that I love experiencing while reading. Definitely a 5 Star Book for me!!

ARC provided for honest review for CJ’s Book Corner

The third book in T. Birmingham Wild Beasts Series will suck you right in. Reading the first two books is a must to meet the characters and understand the terms to explain the character’s uniqueness. Once you have, you will fall right into the story of Nicky Arviso and Eire Donovan. And what a story it is.

Nicky is investigating an unusual death in his own backyard. A gruesome death that has everyone worried. At a loss for who could be committing these crimes in walks an Enforcer that is about to shake up his world and bring his past to the forefront.

Eire Donovan is an Enforcer and looking into a series of deaths of Others. When the latest death happens in Montville, NY she will need to do what is necessary to keep up her protective wall of ice. But when she meets Nicky, that wall threatens to melt and the fear of who and what she is will be known.

This is a long read but worth every single minute of your time. The chemistry of the characters and the complexity of the story line will make you want to hole up and just keep reading. A well written story, T. Birmingham once again has another story that is a must read for anyone. Thank you T. Birmingham for giving me the chance to read your amazing book. I will always look forward to the next one.

In Raging against the Devil by T. Birmingham. Book two in the Wild beast series. This amazing author immerses you in a world of her making. You may find it’s one you may never want to leave.I know I didn’t.This is a unique take on the world and creation of the fae. She has even created shifter a world and a few creature I’m pretty sure she plucked from her very imaginative mind. I could just not put this book down. I loved the fiery lead females that are just a little broken but want to do better and the men who support them no matter what. They are just every woman's dream man.
If it’s emotion you want you’ll find that too. T had my emotions on parade throughout this book from, panting over the sexy men in this book, drooling over a few of the intimate scenes, to laughing at the easy banter of this rag tag crew even crying for those lost to more than the group could handle..
While you're busy enjoying a great read you’ll be surprised to learn that Birmingham has been slowly pulling you into the age old discussion of light versus darkness and good versus evil. Are any of us just one of the other?
T Birmingham is an amazing writer that I will indeed be reading again. From her feisty, lovable character style to her ability to pull you in and place you right there in each and every moment. Proud to say I am now a fan. Bring on book three.

Rage Against the Devil by T. Birmingham is the second book in her paranormal series Wild Beasts and I am telling you, she is a keeper! Her debut novel (the first book in the series) blew me away and she is keeping up with the second book! You CANNOT read this book before reading the first one!
The writer left me broken after the first book, yeah yeah the main characters will be prominently featured also in this second book but the heartbreak, the devastation, the death … it left be breathless …
The second book is the story of Eire Donovan of the Darkness, the Enforcer for Others (The Ice or The Snow Queen or The old, cold, hard bitch or The Vanilla) and of Nicholas Arviso the Vukovic wolf and the police detective (Nicky). These characters, my goodness, they are complex and hard and vulnerable and out of control and in pain … The writer has created an amazing world with amazing characters that take you away, on a journey where EVERYTHING is possible! I could not put the book down once I started. The story sucks you in and does NOT let you go … Be prepared to have a hard day at work after a sleepless night!
I am left breathless and wandering alone and wondering, what is she going to create next? Where is she taking us next? What does she have in store? Whatever it is, I hope she does not make us (me) too long!

Rage Against the Devil is the third book in T. Birmingham’s Wild Beast Series, and really turns a lot what we have learned about this world of clan and others on its’ head. Light vs Dark and Good vs. Evil – can it really be that simple? Of course not! Nicky and Eire are the perfect examples that life is not always black and white. That these two seemingly different creatures should end up as fated mated is not surprising in the least. Of course, Montville wouldn’t be Montville without the Supernatural craziness that seems to run rampant there. The story starts out slow but picks up Tempo until I couldn’t read fast enough. The book was great! I love the characters the exquisite world building that the characters inhabit, the supernatural crime element and the deeper questions of good and evil. Great Read!!!
