What an awesome story we loved it from beginning to end. The story was filled with angst and a lot of heart and had a cast of amazing characters that were totally awesome and all so love-able.
I loved the trio as they had amazing chemistry together and I loved that Jill was the bridge that closed the gap between two best friends who finally were able to come to terms with what they had always felt for one another. I loved that each character was a little broken which made them all coming together more heartfelt and anti-climatic as they all gave something to their relationship that each needed.
The story was all steamy as all get out! Smokin hot! Talk about feeling all the pain that these characters were dealing with and going through we felt it straight to our heart as we wanted to cry and grieve right along with them.
The story drew your right in right from the very first pages and had us glued to the pages to the bitter end.
I always try to pick a favorite character to rave about but, it was impossible this time around however I was really was drawn to Charley and his dominate nature and his take-charge attitude because I really think that is was what both Kane and Jill needed in order to get out of their heads and just feel and let go all their pain and regrets and I think it made this relationship more interesting that he had this dominate nature it was something they both craved yet, would never admit out loud. I loved that it was was not your typical threesome as the males in question had felt something like love for one another from the moment they met but, fear held them back but, one little lady was able to penetrate their walls and hearts and bring the two of them together finally and to take what they always wanted from one another and be damned the consequences. Loved how they all wanted happiness for one another even if it meant one sacrificing their own happiness.
Talk about swoon worth characters Kane and Charley were just that.
This is the kind of story that you could go on and on about with all the things that you loved about it for me anyway so this one goes into the keeper pile to be read time and time again.
The ending was just perfect for this heartfelt emotional tale!
For me, I think this author's writing gets better and better with each new release she has been added to our list of favorite authors for 2020.

The Prologue left me breathless and the storyline progressed from there into this grief-stricken story that had me tearing up for the characters. The characters separately grieve on their own but their love for each other pulls them together and when Fate steps in Charley, Kane and Jill have some hot and steamy times together. Will they be able to heal each other and have a lasting relationship?

Wow. If you're looking for a steamy read, look no further. Healing Storms will melt your Kindle! It is the story of 3 broken people who are drawn together, and at risk of sounding cliché, they help make each other whole again.
The book's prologue is from the perspective of Kane's wife and Charley's twin sister, Alana. Alana and their daughter Nat are tragically killed in a car accident during a fierce storm 5 years before the story picks up. Beginning the book from Alana's perspective was interesting, because it allowed us to see Kane and Charley from the outside. We were able to see how both men reacted to the tragedy in real time. It was a visceral and gripping read that sucked me into the story immediately.
5 years later Kane is living pretty much as a hermit in an isolated cabin on the mountain. He and Charley haven't spoken in years - both of them blaming themselves for Alana and Nat's deaths.
When Jill arrives in town, she catches both of their attention. She is a beautiful but very timid young woman who is clearly running from something. But she's very reluctant to let anyone in, constantly worried for her own safety.
Jill ends up being the bridge to bring Kane and Charley back together. Their friendship was destroyed after Alana's death, and Jill is able to not only help them rekindle their friendship, but through her, they are able to finally acknowledge the fact that they've lusted after each other for years - since even before Kane was married to Alana.
All three main characters are damaged people, but watching them come back to life after years of isolation is rewarding. Kane and Charley are able to break through Jill's walls and help her feel safe and beautiful again. And the sexy bits in this book are smokin' hot. Like 5-alarm hot. Healing Storms by Lynn Burke was one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride of a journey and I thoroughly enjoyed every single second of it! The story was hot and steamy and evocative and definitely had me taking moments to breathe and regroup and reread passages, just to get the whole experience!
This story doesn't hold back, grabbing you by the throat and making you feel everything along with the characters. It is visceral, it is real, it is beautiful even as it is torture.
Kane is so tormented by his past, guilt an overwhelming companion these last years.
Jill is so sweet, tender, sensitive yet with a core of steel that makes her even more beautiful.
Charley, equally broken and stuck idling, unable to move forward with the past weighing heavily on this shoulders.
These three were so poignant, and I wanted to give each of them hugs and hot chocolate and tell them everything would be okay.
Their story, their strength, it was inspiring and so beautifully written! Though it is a rocky road with plenty of obstacles, the healing path is lovely to witness. Of course, the question is, whether it is enough, and whether the foundations of trust and love can overcome everything else. You'll just have to get the book to read it and find out! You won't regret it!

Oh my! This was the first book I have read by Lynn and it will not be the last. After suffering a devastating loss, best friends Charley and Kane pull away from each other. They haven’t seen each other in five years. Jill is hiding from her past and has caught the eye of both these men. Will Kane and Charley be able to realize and admit their feelings for one another and is Jill the person who can get them to open up? There is angst, loss, regret, guilt, healing and twists that make your heart thump. These three have such undeniable chemistry and a strong connection. This is a hot and steamy read that will give you all the feels. Definitely have the tissues nearby, you will need them. Lynn kept me hooked from the very first page until the end. I loved this story and the characters I met.

When all three enter the picture we get a complicated, yet fabulous relationship. All are still recovering from earlier events. All are looking for permanence and love. An absolutely wrenching and beautiful tale. Once you pick this up, you will not be able to put it down. Whew!!

Healing Storms is hot and emotional, it really contains the whole package for a MMF story.
Healing Storms contained a lot more heart and emotion than I was expecting. At the very soul of the story it was about a two broken men who lost a wife and daughter and a sister and niece in the same tragic accident. It is also about a healing woman who is rebuilding her life after years of abuse and trying to find herself now that she is finally free. Kane, Charley, and Jill all have damage, but together can they move past it and all heal together?
Right from the first chapter Healing Storms will grip you from the get go. Kane and Charley have a history that goes way back, but they have never acted on their feelings and it takes a woman, Jill, who recognizes heartache to bring them together for the first time. She recognizes the same brokenness in herself and is drawn to both men, but she also is torn between wanting them or just being the bridge between what they have both denied themselves for years. How do you know if you are just a temporary need or could be a permanent solution?
Lynn Burke is a new author for me, and again, I was pleasantly surprised by how much emotion was contained within this book along with all the passion she fit in. I will definitely revisit more of her books in the future.

I had forgotten how much I enjoy MMF romance until I read, Healing Storms by Lynn Burke. It was just what I needed. Hotttttt and emotional. The trifecta of Kane, Charlie and Jill set me on fire, while they pulled at my heart strings.... A widower, a man in mourning (for more reasons then one) and an abused girl running from her past.
I must admit going into Healing Hearts, I was a bit leary. Lynn Burke is a new author to me, plus I hadn't read MMF in a while or anything like this one... The plot is taboo for a few different reasons. Reasons, I won't get into. Some how it all worked. There was a lot sadness and drama surrounding these three people, but I think that only enhanced the story further. They all needed each other for different reasons and it all made sense.
This was total fantasy! Who wouldn't want to be craved by two extremely hot men? I would sign up to be the meat in their sandwich any day! lol.
Kane and Charlie were Combustible! Most of the sex scenes were smoking hot. I actually wanted more of them ;)

Besides the hot scenes, there were a lot of emotions between the three. They have all been through too much in their lives. They are damaged yet haven't completely given up. I honestly liked them all. Kane is the sweet, tender one... He's lived through a horrific tragedy, that would break most people. Charlie is more of a protective, commanding alpha. (He can order me around all he wants!) He lives with extreme guilt and a huge secret. Then there's Jill. After learning about her past, I felt her pain and insecurities. She was so timid and shy at first. Until the guys broke through her walls...
Together, they began to LIVE again.
Do I think the plot and emotions could have gone even deeper, sure! Especially between, Kane and Charlie, but maybe the author wanted to keep it a bit lighter. The contents could have gone into much darker territory. So, for my first Lynn Burke book, I am pleased. I was throughly entertained (and aroused hee hee) by Healing Hearts and I plan on reading this lady again!

This was an emotional story that left me tearing up throughout the whole book. Kane lost his wife and daughter in a car accident. 5 years later, he is still grieving and he can't seem to look at his wife's brother. Charley not only lost his sister and niece but also the man he loved more than anyone. Jill shows up in town with secrets and it seems that both men are attracted to her. This was an intense story to kept me turning the pages as the world of Kane, Charley and Jill unravels around them. The characters must work through all their issues, and there are LOTS of issues to work through but when Jill's life is in danger, the guys will come together for her. This story made me laugh, cry, get mad and every other emotion. I loved it and it's going to be a keeper for sure.

A deadly storm changes everything for Kane and now five years later he is faced with the challenge of rebuilding his life and his fractured heart. At the same time Charley carries the guilt of that tragic night when his twin looked into his eyes and said those fateful words. He lost so much in that moment including his best friend and love he craved. Jill is new to the sleepy mountain town trying to hide her past and reinvent herself regardless of her pain. The three have a connection that rivals all love affairs. Everything about their relationship will send you into the perfect fantasy world. Damn this one is off the charts HOT!!

This is a wonderful MMF story.
I was hooked right from the prologue and literally could not put down this book until I finished.
These are warm funny flawed realistic characters and even the secondary characters are fun to read about.

I received Healing Storms as an arc for an honest review.
I don't remember the last time that I have read a MMF Romance. I probably haven't. I went into this book not really knowing what to expect. What I didn't expect was for this book to destroy my emotions. Oh my god! this book was not only steamy but it was heart breaking at parts. Kane, Charley and Jill need to be protected at all times.
This story was emotional from beginning to end. As a reader you have to think if this type of book would work and it absolutely does. Kane, Charley and Jill are made for each other. You feel the love that they have for the others right off the page.
If you are looking into A MMF romance, I would suggest Healing Storms. it has a lot of things that as a reader you ask for.

I’ve always been a big fan of MMF reads. I love seeing the men connect and then a women balance out their gruffness and this book had that in spades. Kane (M) Charley (M) and Jill (F) were great. All dealing with their own grief, trying to accept who they are and overcome their pasts so that they could have an amazing future made this book one that hooked me. The start I had tears, and throughout the story I was rooting for them. There was hot scenes, and scene that made my heart break but overall it was an easy read. I won’t give anything away but I plan to read more from this author. She has a talent when it comes to weaving a story that I couldn’t put down. 4 stars #2OCCJD

This is Kane, Charley, and Jill’s story. Kane lost his wife and daughter in a tragic accident and 5-years later he is still grieving. Charley lost his sister and niece, as well as the only man he loved more than life itself, and Jill is on the run from an abusive past. These 3 have many issues and challenges to overcome along the way. When Jill’s past comes back to haunt her will these men be able to protect her and keep her safe? This is a well written story which is and intense and emotional roller coaster, as well as being filled with drama, angst, grieve, danger, and is a humorous and steamy read. I look forward to reading more from this talented author, and I recommend this for all MMF lovers.

I was not expecting that prologue. The emotion in this book was breathtaking. The grief each character went through, their struggles to overcome & the love they had for each other.
It was also HOT & STEAMY as hell! I loved the story & path these characters went on. The ending was perfect & it was such a great read!

Lynn Burke has done it again ... Healing Storms will give an ugly cry right from the start... Kane has to deal with a devastating heart broken tragedy that changes his life forever. Charley is Kane's best friend and has held on to a dark secret that he has never revealed because he continues to sacrifice his needs to ensure others are happy. Jill is escaping from an abusive relationship that leaves her constantly looking over her shoulder and not trusting anyone.

Highly emotional, and steamy, this is an interesting MMF menage. I didn't quite feel as if the bond the men shared with Jill was as strong as the one they shared with each other, so it wasn't completely successful as a menage for me. However, the emotional and the physical in general is well balanced, and the story is good. I do wish all three of the bonds had been explored a bit more, which would have made this 100% successful, but as it's written, I still enjoyed it and really liked each of the characters, especially Charley.

If you don’t mind having your heart being torn out and crying after the first page, then this book is for you. Kane, Jill and Charley have so many obstacles to overcome before they can commit to their alternative relationship. With a little help from an angel, they will all heal each other. I love the addition of Alana’s story at the beginning of the book. So emotional!

This was a good book that had a few good twists to make you wonder what was going to happen next.
My heart broke for Kane and how he blamed himself for Alana’s death. His past was with both Alana and Charley and there were issues not resolved from the past which definitely impacted him struggling to move on.
It made me sad how much Charley blamed himself as well for Alana’s death and how it drive a wedge between him and Kane. It was obvious how much he cared about Kane and wanted to be with him but he was definitely afraid to do anything as he was scared to lose him again.
Jill was on the run from her past but was also attracted to both Charley and Kane and knew that there was also something between the two men and she struggled with how she fit in with it all.
The first hot tub scene definitely got things moving in the right direction and I really hoped it would show Kane and Charley that they belonged together but Kane really still had so many doubts! I was definitely happy when things started moving in the right direction!
I loved how protective both Kane and Charley were over Jill when they understood what was going on with her. Yet things took an intense turn with the arrival of JD! - By Rebecca

As hard as this is for me to say, I have mixed feelings about Healing Storms. I love a MMF emotional romance but for me, there was just something missing. And I can't quite put my finger on what it was because this had all the makings to be a supreme read. I mean the opening alone had me in my feelings.
I liked all of the characters. Kane and Charley and Jill all had things in their past that shaped how they were living, or not living, their lives now. They were all a bit broken and lost and ready to start moving forward, they just didn't know how. I liked that Jill helped Charley and Kane bridge that gap. Connect again and actually open up and share their feelings. The good and the bad- the guilt and desire and longing.
There is a lot of sexual tension in this book. From everyone. But I liked that Lynn Burke didn't shove the sex in my face. And as hot as Jill and Kane and Charley were together, it was the emotional connection they found between the sheets that really stood out. There they were laid bare and were able to open up and express themselves in a way they couldn't anywhere else.
I will say that I found the final showdown a little anticlimactic. This was the big catalyst that led to all of them truly being able to bury their past and move towards the future and it was over and done in a few pages. Oh well- because the very end of Charley, Jill and Kane's story was super sweet and left me with a smile on my face.

Outstanding! I highly recommend you read this book. Phenomenal writing entranced me from the first word and kept me turning the pages until the last period. The spiciness is hotter than a lightning strike and not to be missed. Healing Storms is a roller coaster ride of emotions. I cried, laughed, raged, sighed, swooned, and fell in love with Jill, Kane, and Charley. This trio is off the charts! The characterisation isn't great. The storyline was not terribly engaging.The syntax is very odd, almost like English is a second language and the punctuation is all over the place creating a disjointed reading experience.
There are also some grammatical errors that were blindingly annoying. A good proof reader should have picked up on all of this and polished it up, it would have made for better reading.
The plotline isn't engaging either and although I read the book in one sitting it wasn't because I couldn't put it down, more the fact I had purchased it so I was going to read it.
There is some swearing, allusions to domestic abuse and plenty of sex scenes, MF, MM and MMF so if that's your thing you should be happy with the book.
The one glaring instance I feel I have to point out, is the opening scene. Why the hell would you have a characters death scene told in the first person if that was the end of that characters involvement in the book?? I have to admit that if it's intended as a heart breaking opener it falls abysmally because there is no emotional conclusion to the chapter, it's just left there like a dead weight. Strange, as a plot device it was worthless, it created no empathy at all for those involved in the scene.

Amazing
This is definitely my favorite book by this author. She does MMF well but I have to admit I was scared before starting this one.
When you have the 2 males loving each other (even from afar) and having a connection before the female things can be iffy. Sometimes the writing can be swayed one way having someone feeling left out. Normally the woman.
Lynn Burke did AMAZING at not letting anyone feeling left out. In fact the guys Kane and Charley made it clear she was just as important as they were if not more. They knew they wouldn’t be whole without her in their lives.
Every time I thought okay here we go, she’s about to be on the outside. The author made it a point to show that Jill was loved, she was needed.
I also loved that Jill was willing to step back because she saw just how much Kane and Charley loved each other. She wanted to be that bridge between them at first, help them make that first step, admit to each other their true feelings. Even if it meant she would be hurt in the end.
I giggled, I wanted to cry and I was so happy when Kane and Charley gave into their feelings and admitted they loved each other. Then also so happy when Jill did as well and they guys didn’t let her run.
The spice was 🤌 just like her other books.

more like 3,5 ☆. I am a little torn, here. I liked the story and I liked the MCs. but I think I did not like how it was told. firstly. their dicks twiched to much or their pussy was constantly leaking. everytime the Author wanted to convey an emotion she had their genetalia telling us, even emotions not related to arousal like happiness, Joy, tenderness. she could say my heart skipped a beat or my breath halted or my belly fluttered, my face warmed no it was always my dick twitched or swelled or my pussy dripped... you get the picture. it was ridiculous! how am I to believe that this relationship is not solely based on lust....and it is here...there is not much else substance. secondly the forced villain here that lasts like 3 pages, huh? thirdly. we had These MCs with all These traumas but we didnt see them dealing with them or working on them. like eveything was fine and resolved bc they found each other and decided to be together. why create such traumatized characters if it is not a point of the story to Deal with that. the Trauma is just used as a gimmick. and that is just lazy writing. however. it was steamy and the sexscenes where the story and the emotionslos were the strongest.

This book deserves 10 stars! It was such a good book. This author knows how to get in ur mind is the only way I can think to describe it. I haven't read a book like this in awhile. Not only is it so damn hot it will also have you in your feels. I swear I felt every emotion the characters did. I went from crying to the next chapter I'm squirming in my seat! Charley, Kane, and Jill are just made for each other! I loved how we got each of there perspectives and feelings on their past! Back to the hotness overload! If you love strong possessive/protective H's in a book, can you imagine how 2 of them in one book would be! This isn't your typical MMF either, both the men are with each other as well! That was another thing I loved. All 3 of them shared intimate scenes with one another 1 on 1 and as well as all together. It was 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
