Once more professional chef Jennifer Tate has put together a collection of delicious bread recipes which can happily be consumed whilst on the Keto diet. This time, however, the recipes can be used in bread machines of all makes, including that which sits in my kitchen even as I write this review.
Safe to say, then, that I long ago became a convert to using a bread machine, the advantages of which author Ms Tate notes in her helpful introductory notes before she moves on to the recipes. I can relate to these, having purchased said machine when I got tired of shop-bought bread going mouldy before I even got a chance to make toast with it when it wasn’t at its freshest.
Speaking of which, the recipes given this time range from simple toasting bread through a range of breads from the Mediterranean in general and Italy in particular, with herbal and vegetable breads and even fruit breads; and all consistent with eating on the Keto diet; what’s not to like? Pumpkin bread sounds great for this time of year, with Rosemary flatbread and Blueberry bread almost certainly being made in my personal machine in the near future.
Aside from the recipes (which once more contain nutritional notes, including calories per portion) there are once more notes on the Keto-friendly ingredients which can be used in the recipes; time to go shopping and baking. Highly recommended.
