Excellent book for a weary heart

The book is written in a way that makes you feel like you are living every moment as it happens. There are a lot of typo errors in the kindle version, that's the only reason it lost 1 star. I intend to recommend the book to a friend who has just left an abusive relationship. She has not yet received Christ as her savior.

This memoir is amazing! Intense and riveting, devastatingly honest, and wholly thoughtful. It’s full of painful anguish and hope, too.

Usually the typos of a kindle edition bother me, but they in no way subtract from the impact this 5 star book has had on me.
