The writing in average.
Way tooo fast pace, somewhere the twists just came and went away I didn't have time to consume everything. So an average writing style
The characters were amateurs with feelings yet so dark. I liked their passion but apart from it nothing else enticed me much.

December 13, 2021The dialogue between the MCs was really immature, it felt like they were in middle school. This is another book where the heroine thinks she's a badass, but is a dormat/pushover and has body betraying syndrome when it comes to the Hero.

What ensues is a whirlwind of events that will have your heart racing while keeping you on the edge of your seat.
The ending has me needing/wanting the next book like a junkie that needs their fix. I simply can't wait. The pacing of this story was perfect. Sin and Temple together were scorching, their attraction sizzled off the pages. Another unique and outstanding book by Lee Piper that comes highly recommended by me. Five stars for Sin, Temple and Deviant Sin!

Deviant Saint is a fast pace, enemies to lovers story that will light your kindle on fire! Sin Brandt is so intense and hot is sin!! He is no nonsense with eyes only for Temple. Temple has a hard exterior because of her past. She is a fighter through and through who is working hard to her way towards a better future. That is until Sin crashes into her world and blows it up in more ways than one! These two are ridiculously hot and a must read!!

"Deviant Sin" is the first book of the "Cruel Desires" by the author Lee Piper. Told in dual perspectives , this book ends on a Cliffhanger. Get ready to meet Temple and Sinclair.
Temple has to be one of most badass heroines which alone made me lover her so much. She never wanted anything to do with Sinclair no matter how much she was attracted to him. She thought it was just attraction , and it would go away soon. But things changed when Sinclair expressed his Interest in her. Now she is stuck in between saying yes to him all the while protecting her.
Sinclair was one of the most ruthless and charming characters that I have read. He wanted Temple to follow through with revenge but was thrown off guard when he met her. The fiery beauty was someone he wanted for himself , revenge be damned. But now the plan is set into motion and there is nothing he can do but follow with the plan.
I loved both these characters so much , the way they were broken and made each other whole was the best part of the story. A definite recommendation to all the dark Romance lovers out there!

This book moved at the speed of light. From strangers to almost enemies to sleeping together to falling in love. I don’t think I caught my breath between any of the transitions.
I enjoyed the story. The plot was a little different than what I’ve come across before, and left open ended in a sense for the next book to pick up.
My biggest concern in the entire thing was just the way it felt like time moved. The beginning essentially burned through 2 whole nights. The end happened in another night or two. I don’t actually know if that’s accurate, but it felt that way, with just a few weeks between the front and back halves.
No one could deny the chemistry between Sin & Temple, but it felt like lust burning hot, controlling their actions, and not quite like an eternal love.
At the end of the day, I really did like the story. I liked the characters, especially Saint and not so much Eve.

This is the first book in a new dark, twisty and super steamy college series by Lee Piper. This is also a new to me author and when I read the blurb I jumped on the chance to read it. I love the whole dark and dangerous bully vibe. Tons of suspense, secrets and super, and I mean SUPER, hot sex scenes all throughout this book. This book is extremely fast paced and I admit at times I was very lost. Some chapters made me feel like I had whiplash but I loved the nonstop suspense and the sex scenes more than made up for the rest of the craziness.

Temple is just trying to keep Dad’s garage afloat so she can eat, finish college and get the hell out of dodge. Her dad may be a huge piece of shit but she will be damned if she fails because of him. Too bad all her plans get shot to hell when none other than Sin Brandt swaggers into her garage like he owns the place. Son of the most notorious mob boss there is and she’s heard the rumors and back alley whispers. She knows she needs to stay the hell away. If only it were that easy.
“They’re not the only ones who can wreak havoc and get away with it.”
Sin knows who he is and who he is supposed to be. He wants nothing to do with his infamous father. All he wants is revenge and plans to use Temple to make sure he gets just that. What he didn’t expect was to want her so badly, so quickly. Sin always gets what he wants. The game and end goal are the same...just some change up in the players. Let me tell you the chemistry between these two was on fire. It was so freakin' hot. Honestly, the push and pull between these two characters was one of my favorite things about his book. I loved Sin and his brother Saint. Temple was meh for me but the chemistry, hot damn. We are also left with a cliffhanger of sorts. I can’t wait to see where the next book takes us!

Okay, let me tell you, this is not your typical Lee Piper book. Deviant Sin is a lot more darker than all of the authors other books. What we have is a enemies-to-lovers/college/mafia story with a dominant alpha hero and a heroine who's as much as alpha as the hero 😉.
Sinclair "Sin" Brandt - the name is program. This man is pure sin in every way. Dominant, dirty, sexy (all the best sins all rolled into one person) but also determined to fulfill his goals, to avenge his mother's death. And you always need pawns in a good game of chess.
Temple is a tortured soul but one of the strongest heroines I know. What she went through is terrifying but she's not one to give up. She's a fighter and surviver, she's also the perfect woman for Sin in every way possible.
These two burn!!! The story is sexy and extremely fast paced, twisted and unique. It is beautiful to witness how in all this chaos a love can grow, that is as strong as the one between Sin and Temple.
The side characters are also very interesting and I'm curious how the story developes in the next book.

Lee Piper held me spellbound with this page turning read! I couldn’t put my kindle down.
Sin and Temple were made for each other and the pages came to life with their undeniable chemistry, banter and intense emotions. I loved the way Temple’s feisty nature kept Sin transfixed and drawn to her despite his dominant nature. She challenged him and kept him captivated by her. Temple was also drawn to Sin and knew when to acquiesce despite her resilient nature. They were meant for each other! The dangerous aspect underlying this story added to the intrigue and I’m so ready to read more of this series to see where it all leads in the Cruel Desires series!

Deviant Sin, the latest novel by Lee Piper is darker enemies to lovers romance that is full of everything that you come to love from her writing! Her characters are troubled individuals that hold nothing back. They have this strength about them that just proves that nothing will hold them down for long.
Sin and Temple are just the ultimate duo because they feed off each other's energy - melting the pages with their undeniable chemistry. Can't wait to read more from this series! A DEFINITE must read!!

Absolute must read first book in new series!
Holy, holy, holy, hell, I didn’t know it was possible but I believe that Lee Piper has absolutely out done herself yet again. Yeah, I probably say this with each book release, but I swear to you that this time it’s true! She’s stayed with the bad boy hero but has moved away from her rockers and started a new series with a pair of twins out to take down their father, his organisation, and anyone involved in it. Dirty rats better move out of the way, or be going down with the sinking ship.
Temple is one of the most bad-arse heroines I’ve read for a while. She’s no-one’s victim, not anymore, because she’s been there, done that and never again. She also doesn’t want a bar of Sin either. He’s one of The Collector’s twin sons, and it doesn’t matter how hot he is, or how hard her body or eyes want to betray her, she just wants to study and earn her ticket to freedom out of Bayside and the clutches that The Collector has over the area. I absolutely loved and admired this heroine that Ms Piper created, and she was an absolute perfect foil for Sinclair Brandt.
He knew all about her deadly violent skills, but he didn’t know how she got them and didn’t care. She was a means to an end for the revenge that he, his twin and his cousin had planned, but the moment they met, his agenda changed. I loved that this damaged and broken man broke all of his rules for the woman who tried to keep her distance even as he tried to pull her closer. He made no bones about it either! It was so awesome that this totally cool bad-arse alpha male stamped his ownership all over her to his group, ensuring their protection and respect, and made it known to her that he wasn’t playing around. How could I not admire this book boyfriend, this man who wanted revenge yet upended his way of thinking due to meeting the woman who challenged him at every turn?
One thing that Ms Piper is consistent with is her hot and steamy sex scenes that are so hot, they damn near scorched my eyeballs. The chemistry between Sin and Temple was palpable and almost a character unto itself. When I was reading this book at smokos and lunchtimes, I was very aware each time someone walked behind me because ... HELLO ... I’d be accused of reading rudeness!! Well, I was, but judgey workmates and all that – I don’t want to be escorted off the worksite for throat-punching offensive workmates!!!!!
Author Lee Piper has put together an awesome plot for this series, and written one helluva HFN (Happily For Now) for Sin and Temple. She’s also left me totally gagging for Saint’s book. True story!!! There are three more books in this series so I’m saying to you now, start stalking Lee Piper’s author links and get into her author group. You need to be getting the skinny on what’s going on with teasers and releases! It’ll be the best thing ever!

I have waited and waited in excited anticipation for this book.
I Love Lee Piper and the way she writes her stories they are raw and unapologetic,they pack a punch to the gut and the heart,her characters are not perfect but troubled and so easy to love.I feel both dizzy and exhilarated like I just stepped off the fastest rollercoaster in the theme park after reading this book.
I have to say it was worth all the waiting because OMG right now I feel like I need to be hosed down because this book is HOT,SPICY,SEXY and FIESTY.
I LOVED IT !
Sin Brandt is darkly delicious ,powerful, confident and cocky he commands dominance and doesn't take no for an answer. HE Completely ruined me and my ovaries, I had to fan myself down more than once.
Temple is a fighter,her past has made her that way, she is one tough cookie and stands up to Sin pushing his buttons anyway possible.
They are enemies,they should hate one another but there is just something there between them pulling them towards eachother.The attraction is electric and dangerous but unstoppable.
There is so much more to this story than meets the eye and there is no way I could even begin to explain it ...YOU MUST READ this book.
And to top it all off there is double the pleasure because Sin is A TWIN!!!!
That is right ,you heard me Sin has a Twin brother Saint and Although this book is about Sin and Temple we get to know the side characters a bit too..I found Saint quite Fun and witty the banter he has with Sin and Angel (their Cousin) is fantastic.
Angel is quite the mystery and there is a story there I am sure between him and Eve begging to be told.
To be Honest I want to know All their stories I want more ..

The moment they meet Temple wants nothing to do with Sin, she knows the family he comes from and what they represent, and that is a trouble she does not need. She is busy enough by struggling to keep her fathers auto shop afloat so she can save enough money for school, so a relationship of any kind is pretty much out of the question. Involving herself with Sin would definitely derail all of her plans and leave her with a hollow heart.
Little does she know Sin has a plan, that involves her, and he isn't going to take 'no' for an answer...
Deviant Sin is an intense, steamy, action-packed tale that will have you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. Deviant Sin is my first book by Lee Piper and I truly enjoyed it! I love a strong heroine, and that's who our female character Temple is. After her abusive father went to jail, she's been working at the family garage making ends meet so that she can pay for her tuition in college. Temple only has herself to depend on, without a mother and siblings to support her. She's had to develop a tough skin in order to make sure she graduates and gets out of her corrupted hometown. When she meets Sin Brandt, she knows she wants nothing to do with him and his connection to the mafia, but she is pulled into his plan to topple his father's criminal empire.
Our two main characters deal with a lot of trauma and violence, especially from people in their own family. You can't help but root for them to get their revenge. Temple is pretty much on her own, and that makes a courageous and bold young woman. She has no one to defend her, is poor but has a lot of pride in being able to take care of herself, no family to speak of so she has to fight for what she wants. She doesn't look at her abusive and lonely past and feels pity, but she has dreams of being a social worker one day and doing good in the world. Sin in contrast comes from money, has a twin who he's close to, and friends who support him. However, he also carries baggage with him, having to deal with the death of his mom and his difficult relationship with his dad. This story revolves around Sin's revenge for his mom's death and this first book puts the plan into motion. Lee Piper did it, but this time, she did it BIG!!! No doubt about it.
I was enchanted from the moment I started reading this book and I think I won't be able to recover any time soon.
"I want to know everything about my firecracker: the good, the bad, the f%*cking violent. Every secret she's trying to hide , I'll uncover. Even if it kills us both"
Sinclair Brandt aka Sin (because, YES, he is sinful like that lol) might be young but had to learn, in the worst way, how to grow up faster than anyone else. That made him the ruthless, confident, strong, fierce and dominat man he needed to be. And let me tell you, I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!
But finding someone like Temple is going to show him that not all the people are the same. That the way she resists to be one of his puppets is going to be his undoing.
"With greedy hands and aching hearts, we drown together."
I adored Temple. Life wasn't kind to her but that also made her the independent and strong woman she is. Resisting Sin will be one of her biggest challenges but she will soon learn that having him in her life, protecting her and taking care of her, is what she always needed.
I can't say enough about Sin and Temple's chemistry. When they are together, you definitely see fireworks. A magnificent explosion for all your senses.
The pacing was perfect for the story. Not fast but not too slow! It keeps you hooked from the first page and you want to learn more about the characte's background. Why they are the way they are and their motivations. But there is also mistery in the story and by the time to figure out what is happening, you'll se yourself smiling but also desperate to read the next book. Ladies and gentlemen, and THAT'S the Lee Piper's effect lol.
Totally recommend it.

Deviant Sin by Lee Piper takes a different path than her other reads. This romance is instant, dark, dangerous, and addictive. It is also sensitive to certain themes.
The chemistry and desire between Sin and Temple were instant. There was a little build-up and then wham! Fire! Their relationship builds throughout, but not without its issues. I loved them together. With Temple's no-nonsense attitude, and Sin's devilish charm, they bounced from each other and I could not get enough of it.
This book was dark, darker than the others and I am here for it all. It pretty much started this way, and it carried on all the way through. It had my heart in my mouth often, and my heart beating fast.
There are some pretty sensitive issues brought up in the book that may be sensitive to readers. Even with the tough issues raised, the author did well to do it as sensitively as possible. And the fight these characters had from all the trauma, made me love them all the more. Especially Temple.
Even with the tragedies, the strength of some of these characters was incredible, and it was incredible to see their strength flourish. Truly incredible.
I can't wait to see what happens next in the series. Saint became a quick favourite of mine, even before Sin, so I cannot wait to read his story!

I really LOVE me some Lee Piper, so I'm all in whenever she releases a new story. Sin is determined to bring down his father, and he's equally determined to use Temple to do so, which is just rude. However, he didn't count on Temple being the spitfire she was, how she would go toe to toe with him, and his reaction to her & their chemistry. Now it's time to buckle up for the wild ride because this heroine isn't any sort of wilting flower victim so maybe just maybe, Sin bit off more than he can chew. I totally found this delightful because there's nothing better than an alpha male going down from a heroine who gives him a run for his money. That chemistry I've already talked about totally went off & they burned the pages up from there, and I found myself fearing my kindle would burn out. Will the evil fathers in the story be conquered or triumph?! Will the questions that linger in my mind be answered in the next book in the series (even with it being a new couple)?! Hit those one click buttons to experience this chaotic ride for yourselves because it's totally a good time! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I’m at a loss for words ... again!
Sin’s name is program ... sexy as sin, a dominant alpha, who makes the pages of this book sizzle and threatens to burn the e-reader to ashes.
And he found his counterpart in Temple, an almost reclusive girl, scarred from her childhood with a criminal father and wise beyond her years, resilient and tough as nails, who refuses to bend and submit to his demands and who won't put up with his sh!t.
Their banter is highly amusing and effing sexy.
Their story is a constant back and forth, really twisted and made me turn the pages as fast as possible, even though I really wanted to savor every single word and stick with this long awaited start of a new series for as long as possible. But Sin and the twists and turns of the plot made it impossible for me to just relish this book for as long as possible.
And now I’m on pins and needles for Saint’s story.

Thrilling and suspenseful enemies to lovers story!
WOW! What a story! I was literally on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, not knowing what new twist is going to pop out at us on the next page. The story is fast paced, dark, angry and very steamy at times.
Temple is utterly FIERCE! She is a fighter, a survivor and one hell of a kickass woman. I absolutely love her and her ability to not give a crap and keep going. But she is also very smart and has an uncanny ability to see things others can’t.
Sin, he’s pure alpha through and through. He’s angry, domineering, very demanding and sexy as hell. The connection that he has with Temple is instantaneous and the sexual chemistry they have oozed off the pages.

Deviant Sin is book one of Cruel Desires series by Lee Piper. Here we meet Sin, the reluctant heir to a mafia empire who is hell bent on his father's destruction and Temple, the sassy mechanic and an unwitting pawn in Sin's scheme to take down his father. What worked really well for me was the hot push and pull relationship between these two. While Sin is just the kind of dominant alpha-hole anti-hero I love, Temple really makes this work for me with her take no prisoners attitude. I also really enjoyed getting to know the cast of side characters and I'm looking forward to their stories. What didn't work as well and where the book lost a star was the somewhat hectic and convoluted plot. I would have loved for that part to have been more fleshed out. Having said that, I still really enjoyed the book and can't to see what comes next!

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this so as soon as it hit my kindle I jumped straight in.
My god I absolutely love sin, hes a man who oozes confidence and demands respect, he lurks in the shadows and is a master of stealth.
I was drawn to him from the first line, i love his filthy mouth.
His bullying and seductive ways and the games that he plays had me completely engrossed, but....has he met his match?

From the red hot fire, danger and pure unhinged lust, this book had it all and I couldn't have loved it more.
There's something about Saint though, I mean sin is " the pits of hell" hot but there's just something about him.

This is the 1st in a new series and is Sin and Temple journey. Sin is a powerful, confident and cocky alpha, while Temple is strong and a fighter, which is understandable from her tough past, and she is no push over as she challenges Sin at every turn, and certainly knows which buttons to push. This is a well written fast paced story which is raw, gritty, dark, intense, and is a steamy enemies / lovers’ romance story. I cannot wait for the 2nd book in this addictive and riveting series. I recommend this for all.

Sin and Temple wow what a couple.It's a hate/love situation from the get go.Sin is alpha controlling and definitely has a game plan that involves Temple.This was a very fast paced read that had me gasping for breath and my heart beating rapidly.Lots of suspense , secrets , lies revenge,and sex that off the charts.It ends with a cliffhanger hangers but that only makes me crave the next book more.Lee you out did yourself with this one .OUTSTANDING read

I love it when I go into a book not knowing what to expect and after reading the last chapter anxiously waiting for more. Deviant Sin is a HOTT mafia romance that has you feeling the heat with each page. Temple and Sin are FIRE!! Temple just wants to get through school and not be on anyone's radar. Well Sin blew that out of the water after he knew she was the one. This book is full of suspense, angst and so much sexual chemistry. I can't wait fore more in this series.

Temple is a tough heroine. She escaped her abusive father to lead a life she wants and desires. She ends up a pawn between a father (The Collector) and his two sons, Sin and Saint. Sin and Temple have an instant lust connection. Sin tries to bully Temple but she isn't having it. A fast paced read with an open ending leading to the next story.

Wow! I could not put this book down! I am so in love with Sin! He knows what he wants and goes after it. He has such a dark side but also a tender side. He and Temple fight hard and love hard! Not only that but man, this storyline was awesome. I just couldn't get enough and can't wait until the next book!
