Books 13-15 (But Not Forespoken, But Not For Blood, and But Not Foreknown) of the Amazon best-selling Clint Wolf Mystery Series by award-winning author BJ Bourg is now available as a boxed
BUT NOT FORESPOKEN
When a man is shot dead on Martha Kleen’s doorsteps, Clint Wolf’s first order of business is to identify the victim. This is no easy task, but once the man's identity is confirmed, Clint is left with more questions than answers. He develops a few suspects early on and one of them is a ghost of a man. However, there are more than a few pieces of his crime puzzle missing, and tying one suspect to the murder could be a challenge.
Will the burglary of a local hardware store lead to the arrest of the guilty party, or will it muddy the waters of Clint's investigation? Either way, Clint won't stop until he gets his suspect.
BUT NOT FOR BLOOD
A mysterious phone call in the middle of the night, a threatening note, and a brutal attack spell trouble for Clint Wolf and other members of the Mechant Loup Police Department.
Just when Clint thinks his night can’t get any worse, a bold kidnapping attempt sends him and his crew scrambling. When some of the officers confront the abductors, they are met with a hail of bullets. Unable to return fire for fear of hitting the victim, officers watch helplessly as the heavily armed and highly motivated suspects escape into the dark swamps of Louisiana with the victim in tow.
A desperate search begins for the victim, but the suspects are in a jet boat and are long gone by the time Officer Melvin Saltzman gets his boat in the water. As Melvin does his best to track the suspects across the murky bayous and swamps, Clint follows up on a promising lead that takes him to the small town of Anchors, Louisiana, where he makes a grisly discovery. However, what he finds is nothing compared to the troubling revelation that he might’ve been minutes away from rescuing the victim.
Clint eventually receives help from an unexpected source, but will it be enough to save the victim before it’s too late?
BUT NOT FOREKNOWN
When a bank customer calls in a strange complaint, Detective Clint Wolf responds to find the place locked down and no one around. Once inside, he makes a grisly discovery that will set him on an investigative journey filled with unanswered questions, slippery suspects, and a lack of evidence.
Putting this case to bed will be no easy task. However, lucky for him, he has a team of dedicated officers willing to go the extra mile to get things done. The only question is Will they be there when he needs them most?

FORESPOKEN It maybe a small town, do you really know your neighbors, or the new preacher that comes to town. A woman who loves to flirt with men when her husband is off shore.for several weeks, a minister who has one of his flocks he is seeing while his wife isn’t with him, The secrets another has for doing, it pays good, and one angry wife who thought it was something else. A master at telling a story that has many twists, and suspects, until he finds the one thread that reveals all in this small town. A great plot.
FOR BLOOD Susan is brutallyattacked while trying to get out of her car, by three men, and has no way to protect herself. Clint gets a call for Susan was near, he made a mistake leaving Gracie. They broke in and took Gracie. Giving us a plot of terror, the evil that some people have for revenge, a girl for a girl. Lives of officers , air craft personal, the list is long of those lost. Mervin defines the odds and found her and others. Right to the end would it be over and for healing to begin. Great plot and series.
FOREKNOWN A bank robbery, killing the manager, was it a cover up for murder, no money was asked for or taken. An in depth plot that is full of twists and turns, even to a cold case is some how involved. It has Susan cornered by two of the robbers and they didn’t shoot her, why. Looking for shell castings to tie It to the crimes. Suicides that turn out to have been murder. A gripping plot to the end. Great series
I liked all 3 of books 13-15 in this boxed sets. Each book had it's own suspenseful thriller mystery. Each book focused on one of the officers on the police force bringing out their characteristics that weren't revealed in the other series books.
It would be nice if these boxed sets allow the reader the opportunity to review each book separately so more details could be highlighted. Anyway, I think each book was the best.
I love your books you just put all the right words together stir them all together and give hours and hours of entertainment please keep writing wonderful stories as bedridden my quality of life is much better
It feels many hours of enjoyment for me I would recommend these books to anyone who loves to read great detective books
Just finished book 15 and am looking forward to the next one. Bourg always weaves so much into his stories, giving glimpses of how detectives and police think. Sometimes I’ll have an idea of who did it, and am right. But more often, there are more surprises awaiting. The stories are well thought out, clean, easy to read and flow smoothly.
These three books were excellent. The tribe living in a swamp was good. BJ does an excellent job of mixing up his story lines. Good to learn the Wolf family are all well and bonding at home. They need a rest. I am looking forward to the next set of mysteries.
As always, B. J. Blush continues to write interesting, surprising tales of crime in Louisiana swampland. My favorite is book 14 when Clint is searching for Gracie. Would recommend the entire series.
The Clint Wolf series is one of the best I have read. They are good, clean reading; while being very interesting and keeping you wanting more. I hope BJ BOURG decides to add to the series.
These stories feature great police procedurals, plots with many twists and turns as well as interesting characters. There is also very good personal backgrounds and a wonderful, small town atmosphere depicted in the series.
Such excitement and intrigue from beginning to end. The characters and events are so vivid, it is hard to put the book down without anxiously checking the next chapter. Well done!
Three more novels with difficult cases to solve and plenty of suspense. Clint risks his life every time. True crime and Susan and, of course, the wee one are all he needs.
I wish that "goodreads" would allow me to refresh my memory by being able to access my comments before I write a review - or, at least, allow me to edit when I do gain access after I have published a review! I did have reasons for my rating, but now have no recollection of what they were!
He has an amazing way of coming up with surprise endings. This set was not as gory as the last set. It’s not really necessary, imagination is the best finisher.
