Important and overlooked concepts are highlighted and explained in the most easy-to-understand manner. I'm surprised at the amount of value that resides in this book. Definitely important to pick this one up if you plan to bring sales to a different level!
Sales books are everywhere and most don't really help you move forward because they are too general. This, on the other hand, is highly specific and process driven. Indeed, that is the whole message of the book. I don't build sales funnels but I do design sales processes and everything is transferable to almost any business. This is a must read book for anyone who wants to grow their company.
What I like about this book is the author literally handholds readers on how to launch a successful marketing funnel that goes thru virtually every steps. He even gives examples on sample communication pieces like emails and proposal. What I find it his concepts can be applied to virtually any businesses that you are dealing with other human (doh!). Like most modern selling books, his selling approach is all about solving customer's problems. You need to find your niche and frame it so that it's appealing to the customers.
Though nothing is wrong with his selling techniques, a non-westerner like myself finds his closing approach a little pushy. Maybe it's a cultural thing but nevertheless I find this book very helpful on what I am trying to accomplish as a startup.
I recommend reading this book because it is inspiring and the writer has passion. I started the 10,000 word blog post and I’ll finish writing it in the next couple of days. I’m looking forward to the results which is what this book helps you do.
Wish I could be objective about such a good read. But as I've met Michael on a few occasions and he is on my FB friends' list, I'd come across as too biased. Love the guy for telling it as it is. Everything he explains, the concepts he descibes makes sense.
Such an excellent sales book. The tactics in this book, although aimed at selling marketing funnels, can be applied to any business. Highly recommend. Sell futures, not features.
