I wanted to love this book so much. The premise is fantastic and I really like the characters. But the writing is atrocious. And the grammar? Awful. There is an editor listed but the job was either half-assed or it wasn’t actually edited at all. There are spelling mistakes, grammar and tense issues, timeline wonkiness, and just all around bad editing. The dialogue is stilted and the characters feel as if the author is pushing them through the motions. It feels forced and doesn’t flow naturally. This story could have been so much better with a decent editor. I’m sad.

Love it
Man this book kept me turning the pages. I was so glad that Issak/Blaise met Chasity. But my heart dropped when Issak was shot again and the witch took him away. I was like please don't die he just met Chasity. But when Blaise said to send just Issak back I was like no they both should go back. In the end the witch did just that and now Issak/Blaise and Chasity have a son Ryker whose just like his dad's.

Different
A different read from my norm,by I liked it. Well written with a steady flow. Characters are interesting, different, and likeable. With drama, secrets and more the main male character has the biggest secrets of all. Definitely enjoying reading some of this author's work. This book was recommended to me by UniqueWords LLC.

I'm Loving the man and the beast
I knew when this was announced it would be amazing. I've read her paranormals before and knew i would be in for a treat and Ms. Sonja did not disappoint. This was a page turner that i read in one sitting, i couldn't put it down. The story with Sonja's twist was wonderful!

OK JEKYLL AND HYDE
I LOVE everything about this book. I can only imagine how hard it was to write this story which split character but Sonja B did her thing! I'm so happy that Chastity, Isak and Blaise found happiness. I hope Sonja B comes out with a story about Tyler. Definitely need an update about Eason and Shari. Book recommended by Unique Words LLC.

Retelling of a classic
This book was very good a different take on the classic Jekyll and Hyde tale. The characters were well written and loved Isak and Blaise , they were intense and would stop at nothing to protect the woman they loved.

Dang!
This book was so good, I could not put it down. I loved the storyline and the main characters. I wanted more of this story. It was referred to me by Unique Word but I would definitely recommend this book. A new twist on Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Yyeeesss!!! I loved it
Second chances doesn't happen very often. Blaise what more can I say. I kept thinking about what he would sound like for real. Isak is a brave person. I'm hoping that the story continued since they had Ryker the stinker 😋. I would appreciate a book that has plus size women falling in love with someone like Isak/Blaise.

I can’t believe this is the first book that I’ve read by this author. Something is definitely wrong with me 🙃.
I enjoyed every page of this modern love story of Jekyll/Hyde. Some grammatical errors but it didn’t take away from the story.
Highly recommended and I will be reading more of Ms. Sonja’s work!

A 2nd chance
The retelling of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in a fairy tale sort of way. The Eternal Witch Celeste Dubois is at it again. She's giving this villain another chance as she's given many before. Londoner Isak Jekyll just wants to be left alone, but his father's business partner wants a secret elixir from him and won't stop until he gets it. What the man doesn't know is that Blaise Hyde is the angry muscle inside of Isak and has no problem killing whomever he deems necessary. Getting a second chance is Isak's only way of survival. Celeste sends him several decades into the future. However, he encounters the same issue from someone else. Will he renege?

Sonja B did an awesome job with this read and I love this series. Isak and Blaise are the new spin on Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This book is hot as fire. There is intrigue, betrayal, new beginnings, sexiness and a whole bunch of an Alpha man. I highly recommend you picking up this one!!!

Great Idea
I loved the story idea. It was pretty unique. It went from one century to the current century. I liked how the author transitioned this character. I also like that she put her twist on a story that has been retold 1,000 times. It was different in a good way in my opinion. I also liked how his life came full circle. He ended where he began but with a different outlook on life. I wish Celeste would have made other appearances in the storyline. I also wondered about the deeds she and her mate did to be labeled as 'evil'.
Jekyll and Hyde were sexy in her version as opposed to truly monsters as told in other versions. They also loved each other. In other versions, Jekyll hated Hyde, and vice versa.
The love affair with the woman went too fast for me. Within a week, they were madly in love. After one night, she changed the game plan. Also, it likes she traded one situation for another one even though the other situation was better. Her independence was nonexistent. She was also too accepting of Jekyll's secret. She should have been freaked out in the beginning then coming back to accept them.
Lastly, there were too many errors. I've read other stories by this author and didn't find as many errors in her other books. It felt like this story was rushed. At times, there were words missing, the wrong word used. It appears that no editing was done at all. This took away from the story because the reader has to figure out what the author was trying to say.
Even with the errors and short love affair, read it. I think you'll enjoy it.

A nice spin on this classic story
I will say this was a nice spin on a classic story. The story didn't follow the way I thought it was going to based on my assumption from the blurb. I was very happy about that because I honestly didn't want to watch Chasity and Isak in love, while waiting for this big secret to be reveal and the ball drops. That was resolved fairly quickly. Resolved in a way that was realistic (points for that). The book is not very long so you won't have to linger on the conflicts. It was extremely refreshing how the story flowed organically. It ends on an HEA but for Isak\Blaise it was well deserved.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it took me on an emotional ride I don’t ever want to forget 😊. The supporting cast were so much fun, and that Blaise 🤭🙌🏾🎉.
The pacing was enjoyable, it kept me rooted to my seat as I skipped to the next page. It does have a few errors that may slow you down a second or two. But for me, I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it took me on an emotional ride I don’t ever want to forget 😊. The supporting cast were so much fun, and that Blaise 🤭🙌🏾🎉.

I really enjoyed reading this book even tho I didn't think I liked paranormal books. I am being to think any books Sonja writes I would enjoy reading .Even tho I enjoyed this book I must point out that the editing in this book wasn't great.It is the little things that is not done right that stands out the most .This should have been a 5 star read .I truly enjoy your writing skills and I hope that the editing will be addressed going forward.I look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

As a rule I usually don't read short stories but the premise of this book totally reeled me in. Firstly, the grammatical errors were numerous which is distressing from a readers viewpoint as it disrupts the flow and in some instances can be misinterpreted as to what the writer is trying to convey and secondly, the writing was lacklustre and unimaginative. I really wanted to like this story as I am a huge fan of fantasy romance but this one truly missed the mark.

Nice twist to the Jekyll/Hyde story. I hope Eason and Shari will get a chance to share their take with us. I really wanted to give 5 🌟, but had to deduct a star for grammatical errors. Especially the for the beginning of the epilogue when Celestes name was in place of Charity.

Interesting story
This was an interesting take on the Jekyll and Hyde story. Chantel and Isak/Blaise meet and fall for each other very quickly but when you know you know. I loved Eason and Shari and hope they get a story, either together or separately would be great. Can't wait to read more from this season.

Very Intriguing
I loved this book. Couldn’t put it down. Jekyll and Hyde were given a 2nd chance from Celeste Dubois to get it right. With one stipulation, they were not allowed to kill. Along comes Chasity Nichols who they would kill for if need be. This book is awesome, I couldn’t put it down. You will love reading it

Good take on the villain
