First of all, Té Russ, you didn't have to do us like that. Harper and Trent deserved better than a short. As did we! B (if you read the book, you know what I did here), Birthday Sex was fire! 🔥🔥🔥 This book has me searching my contacts for someone worthy enough to have annual birthday sex with. But, I just don't know if anyone who would even compare to Trenton. Lawd, Trenton will have you lookin' for his sexy azz in the daylight with a flashlight. 👀👀 Whew chile! Harper and Trent exuded sexual energy. They were so f*cking hot! Again, whew chile! Birthday Sex was my first book by Té Russ and it did not disappoint. I'm headed to Amazon right now to stalk her library.

A super, sexy short 🔥The title says it all. This book maybe short but it is Sexy AF. Trent is bae period and like he said Harper deserves and she got exactly what she wished for and more. Novellas or short stories don't always give you a lot of backstory or development. It's okay! Because sometimes it's only one moment that the story is trying to tell and that's the magic of short stories. Everything else doesn't matter but THAT one moment. I do have to say that Birthday Sex filled me up with all kinds of emotions (I cried, I swear!) and got me invested in these two characters very quickly? If you can read one book this weekend, pick up this sexy story because it is so worth it.
Harper and Trent have a tradition. They each text the other on their bdays and ask "Any plans for today?" If they say no, they know what is about to come next. Everything started 4 years ago and since then, each birthday they have gone wild and spent the night together. These two are perfect for each other and have one AMAZING relationship. But you see, Trent knows Harper is it for him so he wants this to become real and ask her on a date. This time around, he's ready for more.

This novella was such a sexy and hot short story. Trent was not playing when he was giving Harper the best birthday sex she ever had. I love the fact that they explore different sexual positions and toys. I read other novellas by this author and I really enjoy her write my style.

It was great!! Very much enjoyed the smut but I think they could've had a bit more chemistry and the buildup and the foreplay could've taken a bit longer???

Wow! This is good. This is how a short should be, super steamy, but with a complete story. I would love to read more, but I don’t feel left hanging and with unanswered questions. I know how their story began, I understand their current motivations, I have an idea where their story is headed.
I have been reading Té Russ for the past week or so starting from her first book, I took a detour to read this short, and I am so glad I did... this is going to give me the push I need to get through her earlier work which while well written is a bit dull and definitely does not have the level of sexy this story brings. There are a few grammar/editing errors that were mildly distracting, but this is definitely a yes from me.
