Barnabas/Zeus- was in the army during the Civil war
Dorthy- her husband died during the Civil War now left with 2 daughters, she sews dresses more for enjoyment but money is always needed.
I enjoyed reading this engaging story with a loving hea, though it was more of an fictional tale than romance, but still good.

good story line
This was a good story..only had one problem…Soooo Many people had to go back and forth many times to make sure who was doing what or who belonged to who..

Civil War setting. At the beginning of the book, there's a lot of telling. It moved the story ahead but didn't give the reader the "feeling" of the time. The second part went deeper. I loved the Christian and Christmas elements.

Sweet Series.
