Linda Schwab, a librarian at Elmhurst Public Library who has written several Regency romances, pens her books under the name of Emily Maxwell.

Emily and Maxwell came from the names of Schwab’s cats. Luckily, her cats’ names sounded properly British.

"My publisher said they needed a British name," said Schwab.

Cute read, just not memorable, except for the 'dinner in disguise' part, which was my favorite and had me laughing out loud.
